Master Skins. A stupid mount.
Could probably just buy the other skins instead of grinding for weeks.
Some people have pretty baller Master skins tbh. Raynor, Tassadar, Thrall, Hammer, Jaina.
Li Li's isn't so great. Just a green outfit with a umbrella. Valla's is pretty cool.
It feels so good when you clutch on a hero when you think you're about to die.
Master Skins. A stupid mount.
We have to buy the master skins with gold? I thought they unlocked at level 10 and you just received them as any other level locked reward.

Not that a lot of Master Skins are good looking and worth the buy.

Man, I somehow haven't lost all day I finally picked one of the worst heroes(stiches) and got an awful team comp. We had no damage, just a lot of stuns. We were losing hard, they had so much fucking damage...then we won a fight and basically won the game Btw, why the fuck was ETC buffed? Played him earlier, and I kind of feel with 25% more powerslide range you can actually afford not to go blink. 6 second ulti is so fucking strong.
I've been having fun as Abathur latley, yes he's only half a hero but once his monstrosity gets its stacks up and you stick some symbiote buffs on it it becomes as good as another hero. It hits like a friggin truck.
Kael is down to 10k gold. I'm tempted to buy him. Though I sorta want Uther or Brightwing. I tried him out in test mode and couldn't figure out what to do beyond "drop mines, retreat, symbiote minions/ally hero and hope the front line doesn't break."

Your passive trait will spawn locusts with the creep waves. Move around as needed to get in range for mines on objectives, but don't fight. If certain lanes you need pushing, you can deep tunnel (Z) to a different lane quickly. Continuously check the map, find where allies are and how they are doing. Low on health? Chasing an enemy hero that you can finish off with stab (Q)? In between symbiotes, place mines (W) near objectives (for vision, the damage is negligible vs. heroes) or in lanes if they need help pushing. Disclaimer: I usually only play versus AI, I've never played Abathur against real people. Also, test mode is terrible for trying out heroes properly.
I wish I saw the map before picking Heroes, some characters are just NOT good in certain map objectives, especially some of the more teamfight heavy ones.
This is a core issue with a lot of specialists, specialists tend to play remarkably differently from other heros, which is nice, it's almost like playing another game, they shake this up and add a little spice. However the fact that A the map you're going to play on is random and B unless you pay as a 5 stack you're team-mates choices are random, and C no matter what your enemies choices are unknown to you. All this adds up meaning that a specialist who is optimized for besieging, for example Hammer is useless on maps where you need teamfight prowess such as the dragon temple, or if the enemy has an assasin who can reliably shit out a lot of burst damage before hammer can activate the speed boost. The lost Vikings excel when the team needs plenty of muscle and map presence, what with being able to be on all three lanes at once or just have erik be a little dick running around taking all the vision thingies. If the team has plenty of DPS already and lacks some lockdown the vikings become far less useful, sure Olaf has a bit of CC in there but the Vikings are best when they can focus one person down and go ham at them. Abathur requires his team to effectively 4v5 till he gets his abilities powered up properly, then he can either clone a powerful hero, (Thought one Tychus shat out a lot of DPS? try TWO of them and one of them does %20 more damage) or summon his monstrosity which becomes Abathur's avatar in the game effectively becoming his hero. However the monstrosity is bugged as fuck and sometimes the cool-down ticks down while the monstrosity is alive meaning if you keep it alive long enough you can have a second one and sometimes the cool-down starts when the monstrosity dies. In spite of this Nazeebo is just a solid hero in general, he has decent teamfight with his Gargantuan and wall of zombies and can shit out DPS with his frogs an spiders and after killing plenty of creeps his passive means he has not insignificant HP.
So I started playing last night and turns out I'm beast at Kerrigan and Valla. Any tips on good builds for them?

Then it's just a matter of watching your booster cooldown. I don't think Specialists in general are map or lineup dependent (except Murky, who is map dependent). Assassins are way more lineup dependent and a little map dependent (I'd never want to play Illidan on Haunted Mines).
Sylvanas on Tomb of the Spider Queen has not been my favorite in my experience.
Sylv is fine on any map. I don't know why she would have trouble one that one specifically, especially since she and a spider push can annihilate a lane.
I find it comes to her push and map dominance ability. Tomb is a laning oriented map having the gems to collect at all stages of the game. I find she is more useful pushing a lane, taking whatever neutral camps, and helping in teamfights. On Tomb, there are only four camps, and she's fragile so you can't keep gems on yourself easily with a solo type gameplay. [editline]27th May 2015[/editline] I play her like I do on Blackhearts Bay, maybe that's why I don't do well with her on Tomb of the Spider Queen.
I think Nazeebo is starting to become my new favorite character, he's really fun to play IMO, and landing that zombie wall trapping someone is always satisfying.
Slyv really just doesn't hold up well in fights, just a complete lane pusher. Or I'm really bad with her.
if you land her ult on their healers though, and your team is actually competent ho boy can you change the tide of a fight
Gotta be careful not to trap your team! I've done it an embarrassing number of times.
If you press the button again you can cancel it.
Hey guys, I'm getting back to Blizzard games after a 5 month hiatus, and I saw that Heroes is open now, and I figured to myself that it was the one interesting MOBA. Is it worth it? What should I know as a newcomer?
Just do the tutorials and see if this game is for you.
I did, and I think this is the moba I could get into. I love how friendly it is in explaining things the DOTA 2 tutorial did not. I haven't played online yet, but I'm just hoping the community isn't as toxic as DOTA 2 was when I tried getting into it. I also like that there's no item shops or guides, that shit was fucking confusing to figure out during a real game.
If you press the button again you can cancel it.
Oh my good God, Mary and Joseph you are a life saver. I had no idea that I could do that.
Slyv really just doesn't hold up well in fights, just a complete lane pusher. Or I'm really bad with her.
Even her pure push build does really good hero damage, the difference is pretty much only in running and chasing power.
I think Nazeebo is starting to become my new favorite character, he's really fun to play IMO, and landing that zombie wall trapping someone is always satisfying.
Please remember you can cancel zombie wall if you trap a teammate.

I did a quick match actually. We won, and no one was yelling at each other. This is the best MOBA already in my books.
I don't know why people keep picking Muradin. He is a terrible hero that does no damage and is just this useless, beefy wall of HP and that has abilities anyone with even a little mobility can dodge without thinking about. [editline]28th May 2015[/editline] Also three games in a row where no one soaks lanes and gets exp and we lose ayy lmao.
