I don't know why people keep picking Muradin. He is a terrible hero that does no damage and is just this useless, beefy wall of HP and that has abilities anyone with even a little mobility can dodge without thinking about. [editline]28th May 2015[/editline] Also three games in a row where no one soaks lanes and gets exp and we lose ayy lmao.
Well when I won my first game as Muradin, I didn't pick him and pick his talent tree for combat. I knew he was best as a healing support and that's what I focused on, especially the talent that allowed me to heal players by just being near them. Also I was apparently on a good killstreak before I died and didn't even know. I'm not kidding, I didn't know I was streaking until my first death occurred.
started playing this. it's kinda lame tbh, no matter what hero i play or how far ahead i am, the whole no items + shared exp system always makes me feel like i'm lacking that "punch". the stages are a bit gimmicky as well, but i guess i'll keep playing it til i can get some more heroes and see if i can get into it

As for my (limited) experiences with Muradin...he's alright. Wouldn't especially want him on my team over other heroes who can fulfill similar roles, though.
how's thrall? he's the only one i want to buy since he's basically orc superman as far as the lore goes
how's thrall? he's the only one i want to buy since he's basically orc superman as far as the lore goes
he has a lock, a amazing heal, a great ult, and a chain lightning I'd say he's worth the 10k

I decided I'd shell out $25 into this game. Bought Kael and buying Crusader. I mean, I've spent well over 25 hours playing it so it's not like I mind. Kael'thas is fucking fun, but dear god he is squishy. I feel like his talent tree needs a rework, he has basically one build where the only variant is level 13(More cast range for less risky damage, or chaining living bomb). He has some REALLY neat talents, but sadly I can't see them being worth taking. Like, would you rather have 75% more damage on living bomb...or an awesome as fuck autoattack when you use your trait? I feel like the damage from living bomb is a lot better :V His level 1 trait for +15 mana when you get a health globe is amazing, happy its so good. At level 16 he has a trait which gives him 200% of his mana as a 3 second shield. That's fucking cool, but I think flamestrike applying living bomb is still too good to pass up.

Lets you safely flamestrike(and at 16, put living bombs on them). The chains hotfix made me dislike it, as it feels clunky with the 16 talent.
So I'm kind of looking to get into this, and I'm coming from a Dota 2 background, so naturally I'll need to ask for a hero conversion; Who's the most similar to Slark or Viper? Edit: Basically I prefer heroes that fight when and where they want to, and can fight out or escape if need be.

I really like Kael'thas, though as stated his only viable build is with living bomb. I also much prefer his second ultimate to the Phoenix, that shit's damage is outrageous.
Anyone else think Raynor is a bad hero? He only has 2 usable abilities and they really aren't that great imo, but is Hyperion ult is descent.
Anyone else think Raynor is a bad hero? He only has 2 usable abilities and they really aren't that great imo, but is Hyperion ult is descent.
Q build Raynor is amazing. Auto-attack is boring. Hyperion is probably better than Banshees at this point.
For Abathur himself, stay in a lane somewhere, near your fort or hidden in bushes. Your passive trait will spawn locusts with the creep waves. Move around as needed to get in range for mines on objectives, but don't fight. If certain lanes you need pushing, you can deep tunnel (Z) to a different lane quickly. Continuously check the map, find where allies are and how they are doing. Low on health? Chasing an enemy hero that you can finish off with stab (Q)? In between symbiotes, place mines (W) near objectives (for vision, the damage is negligible vs. heroes) or in lanes if they need help pushing. Disclaimer: I usually only play versus AI, I've never played Abathur against real people. Also, test mode is terrible for trying out heroes properly.
Also, if you are going to do the strategi of sitting in a bush soaking XP as Abathur, be very aware of the enemy team and what heroes they are playing. I would not advice you to sit in a lane and soak XP if the enemy team has a Nova/Zeratul, and you can't see them on the minimap/the hero is not dead. Trust me, Nova/Zeratul is going to hunt you. Also, here are some useful tips: * Locust Strain (Trait) only grants you XP if they last hit a minion. * Symbiote grants you XP, when minions dies nearby the symbiote target. Use this in maps like the haunted mines, to soak XP in both lanes by leaving your body in one lane, while symbiote in the other lane, when the mines are open (keep an eye on the mines, and help you're team if they get into a teamfight). * You're symbiote's abilities does not break stealth on friendly characters like Nova or Zeratul. Use this to kill the enemy Abathur. (Sorry for the late reply btw.)

If you happen to be in their way they will attack you of course, but generally speaking, if you hide out of their way, bots won't find you. Players, on the other hand...
played a bunch of hero league for the first time in like 2 months and literally every game was filled with nice people. It felt so surreal asking if I should go Li Li or Brightwing and everyone just said "play what you enjoy more it doesn't matter"
Anyone else think Raynor is a bad hero? He only has 2 usable abilities and they really aren't that great imo, but is Hyperion ult is descent.
Can't be that bad if I am consistently either first or second on siege, xp and hero damage ( at the same time) as him.
Pretty excited for the release tomorrow, I'll be sent my physical copy with various hero codes to redeem.

The lunar tiger is going on sale for $5 tomorrow I think it looks a lot better than the golden one, and this is the second time a mount has gone on sale. It's a decent deal imo.
I'm going to buy the box because I always love blizzard boxes. I already own all the heroes in that starter pack. [editline]1st June 2015[/editline] Best maps vs worst maps for launch. IMO Garden of Terror and Blackheart's Bay are the best, Tomb of the Spider Queen is the worst.

Johanna trailer tonight! [editline]1st June 2015[/editline] and it's been played at the launch event [editline]1st June 2015[/editline] If anyone get asked what hero would you want to join the Nexus, they better say they want a fuckin Rock n Roll racer.

Like getting the objective is slow and laborious because any donk can just throw and AoE at the eggs and cancel putting the gems in... that and it takes a LOT of fucking gems considering the impact of the webweavers.
