ofc different heroes might have better level 1 talents, but in general?
Map dependent talent.
I was very chill the whole game until we started doing things that were going to lose us the game, like Tychus going bottom solo to "distract" the enemy team, who was pushed into there base at the time, to which he died when three of them came down to kill him. Instead, he could have been with us at the boss, held his ultie until we had it, and pushed in with Odin. Or when we spotted an out position Abathur in the brush, Falstad had ~100 HP and decided it was a good idea to chase him into the depths of hell to try to get the kill, only to die along with two other teammates, no trades. There is no excuse to do stupid things like that when you're ahead and shit like that is why we lost. Oh man, the team threw the lead? Fuck me, maybe I should break out party hats and celebrate instead of being mad about a game we should have won.
I don't think getting mad and calling out peoples shit is an unreasonable response.
Raging into the chat doesn't help your team win, it just frustrates the team even more and makes you less likely to win. Get upset all you want, don't take it out on your team.
It's entirely worth it to teamfight as soon as one of the periodic objectives open up due to how much power they give a team. Especially on maps like Blackwater Bay and the Mines, because if you don't try to go for the objective on that map you 100% lose because those maps are hella shit.

Like teamfighting on these maps are so important because if you can secure the objectives, you just win the game because said objectives will earn you experience + ensure the enemy team cannot actually contest you.
If you are splitpushing on Blackwater or the map with the Temples then you are a fuck because the enemy team is just going to group, get control of the map, and control most of the gold pieces/temples.

I like taking it with Raynor on the spider map since there are so many minions and you are always in lane. Though you should probably check what kind of comp they have before going aa Raynor.
So, Johanna
Pretty effective Warrior, which is shocking considering how much of a hard on Blizzard has had for nerfing Warriors into some of the lowest win rate heroes. I think her "final builds" will have a decent amount of variation, especially at level 13 and 16. I think Blessed Shield is her better ultimate, also the more fun one to use. Falling Sword just doesn't do enough while Blessed Shield is a three target stun in a big teamfight, four if you take the upgrade at 20. Indestructible is pretty good, an insane amount of shield for a short amount of time. Straight Condemn build can be pretty fun. Shitting out multiple Condemn's in a single teamfight is hilarious and effective. A Punish/Shield Glare build is actually not that great, mostly because Sins Exposed isn't a Vulnerable applier and is instead just a flat bonus damage on a single attack. Would probably be pretty broke otherwise, but then again Sylvanas has an AoE Vulnerable applier (but way later in her talents).
I think her best build is going to be Knight Take Pawn > Laws of Hope > Conviction > Blessed Shield > Hold Your Ground > Fanaticism > Indestructible. Replace Hold Your Ground with Spell Shield and Fanaticism with Imposing Presence when needed. Indestructible can also be swapped with Radiating Faith (or Heavens Fury if you picked Falling Sword). Maaaaaybe you can replace Knight Take Pawn with Reinforce if you have more than one Specialist, but Knight Take Pawn is the only way you're going to be effective at pushing and taking Merc camps solo. Super important on Blackheart Bay.

THEY WANT ME
THEY COMIN' TO GET ME
BUT THEY CAN'T HAVE ME
I find it ridiculous that you can even turn off allied chat. I can barely communicate that a hero left a lane in time for someone to avoid getting ganked without voice chat, now Blizzard gave the option to just ignore everyone. I find removing features for the sake of "toxicity" to be really stupid and I won't be turning it off because I find talking to teammates important. Frankly, if I'm yelling at someone we're about to lose the game anyway. I don't break out the fuck bombs in the middle of the match.
You are what is wrong with MOBA's. Grow up. It's pretty easy not to yell at your teamates, I manage to do it every game.
My friend just asks people if they are potatoes with differing degrees of forcefullness depending on how badly they are playing.

Ok then, lemme tell you about the match I just had where I wasn't an asshole about something.
"Lili, you should have gone Jug instead of the dragon thing."
"i dont think it would have helped"
"Well, they can sustain better because theirs did. It probably would have."
"listen you fucking faggot nerd i dont give a shit about what you have to say and i dont care about your fucking baby tears right now"
If I had it on video I would post it. Yes, I alone am killing video games.
I essentially agree with Banned. I spent the entire game offering people feedback and they simply do not respond. They're always completely obsessed with merc camps or wandering off on their own or ignoring the objective and it gets frustrating as fuck.
When the enemy team is going for the boss and your team is too busy getting the bruiser camp to stop them.
At least let us know if someone has everyone muted.
I don't wanna be asking a guy to do something to learn he can't even hear me.

but you're the toxic one :^)
Guys, leave your teammates alone. They will ask if they want help. Just be nice
Levels 8-10 are such a grind. I just want my Master Johanna skin.
God damn why is every MOBA community so cancerous, people bitch about the tiniest things in co-op bot matches where people are learning their characters on a game which came out yesterday. I'd rather purposely throw matches in CS:GO and listen to those people bitch than actually try to enjoy myself in some of these MOBAs with communities like this
Because aRTS' take time and a large amount of teamwork and coordination [sp]something HotS seems to be against[/sp] to win. People expect to be matched with other people according to their skill level (game perceived skill level, not personal perception), and when you have HotS' quick match "I don't give a shit, just throw ten people into a game" it can be frustrating, along with Blizzard admitting Hero League ranks are basically meaningless, which comes down to not knowing if the people you're playing with are of your skill level or not.
But people raging in co-op games? lol some people need to calm down.
It's toxic now?
From the games I've played it's so far only been decent people.
Also fuck now I have to learn characters to buy Malfurion.
HotS' community was bad from a very early point. It comes with the company, the genre, whatever and it's almost impossible to stop.
You'll find an idiot one day and then a hundred more will pop up. Don't worry.
any game where you have to commit a lot more time and focus (while stuck with the same people) than, say, a game like tf2 where you're free to leave anytime, the teams are constantly changing and matches don't last too long is gonna make people more easily irritable
[editline]4th June 2015[/editline]
moba communities only have that fame because they're the perfect example of that kind of game
I hopped into a quick match for the first time. Wow, never knew people get that angry.
i haven't seen THAT much anger in the last few days of playing, it's not great, but it's not as bad as many other communities either.
I just finished a game as Muradin. Besides a "D'oh that darn enemy Diablo player", my team just took our loss well.
That said, Muradin, fun to play, not really good with him yet though.
I've played nearly 400 games and I disagree whole-heartedly that people are toxic without any form of instigation. Its just lazy to say the whole/majority of the player-base are this way because of a few bad apples its the 'whole class being punished because of one prick' thing from school all over again. It happens, but it happens in every multiplayer game, 95% of people I come across I have a laugh with then go our separate ways.
Also Murky seems pretty strong now, won 4 games in a row with him. Might take him into hero league
I seriously wish there was a refund button.
Buying Shitathur was a very regrettable purchase.
Hero has literally 0 redeemable qualities.
Might be super late news, but my local game stores are selling Heroes of the Storm figures. I thought that was pretty cool.
I can count the number of toxic player I've encounter on my hand, and that's in 300 matches.
Haven't played this game in forever, downloaded a huge update, two characters added! I love the Crusaders so I'm super happy about that character, and my goodness, the Blood Elf guy is so much fun. I gotta start grinding gold, how long do you think it takes to get 10,000 gold?

If you're just starting off, not too long.
If you're level 30.. I think, it'll take quite awhile.
Took me at least a month to get 10,000 gold from doing dailies, and getting the free to play heroes to 5 for 500 gold.

I got to 23k gold and level 32 when I got the boost thing at level 10-12 or whatever it was, it's easy to get your first 20k imo.
