I mean his points are kind of legitimate, the game can make you feel completely useless. When your team isn't able to take objectives or win fights it can be frustrating to know that you're losing due to a lack of teamwork with people you don't even know. To me I don't see a point in bothering with this game if my friends aren't online, because I can't be sure I'm going to work well with the other player's strategy, or vice versa. In other mobas there's more of a sense of individuality which makes soloing in those games a bit less frustrating. I've kinda wondered about this point, because I've heard before that Americans tend to think very highly of themselves and love showing off what they can do, in comparison to other countries. I wonder if this comes up a lot due to the strong individualist mentality we have here, or if this is a strong talking point for gamers in other countries as well.
His opinions on maps aren't that bad either, once again it's a legitimate concern that you can't tell what map you're going to before you pick. Though in this case that only applies to quick match, and the reviewer mentions that. His talk about some of the maps being hit or miss is his opinion though and I don't think he gets the bigger picture of how each map works. Like when he complains that Cursed Hollow tributes sometimes spawn close to one team's spawn, that's obviously intentional and gives them a better shot at getting the tribute, which is meant to counter out how much the game can snowball if one team does really well at the objectives. And his opinions on the hero leveling and shop are very valid points and have been discussed before on the first impressions they leave on a player.
Overall his points are sound and it's likely that a new player would think the same things that he did. I personally think if this game was made by any other company it would die off in a couple of months, but by nature of it being developed by Blizzard this game has a good shot at growing into something big.
D3 Monks are about as much fun to play as getting poked in the eye. If it weren't for achievements I never would've suffered through it to max level. I poked myself in the eye yesterday so my knowledge of that is pretty fresh.

Honestly all these base gimmick maps should be something you can opt into/alt mode maps and you could just have a map or a few maps with no such gimmick that's larger and more 'standard'. I mean, right now the best map is definitely the Spider Tomb one because its gimmick isn't nearly as intrusive as the Golem in the Mines or the ship in Blackhart Bay.

Mostly made his bug AI not shit, but they removed the casting delay on Impale and reduced the casting delay on Burrow.

So i'm saving up for my first major hero, then I saw a really good Kerrigan play on my team in a match and i'm not sure who I want. I was planning on Sylvanas, but I went and tested out Kerrigan and enjoyed the mechanics. Which one would be the better choice? I know sylvanas is typically seen as the better hero but I wanna know the good and bad of both

I played him a bunch after his supposed first nerfs and had a consistent 60% winrate. He was never a liability unless you were the only person on your team who could play the game. People seriously underestimate how much CC Anub'arak shits out.

Logical Decision. Many call Abathur bad, Abathur only good when honed by efficient minds.
I imagine every person who calls Abathur bad are people who try to 1v1 with him because they really lack that much understanding on how he works.
I've fought an Abathur that decided to chase my Zeratul on 40% health.
I would have left him alone, he was safe by the turrets. But he was certain he could get a kill this way.
It was just so sad to kill him.
I keep playing with a guy who has the worst attitude possible. Whenever someone picks Abathur/Murky/Hammer he immediately asks them why and shit it's so frustrating, and he keeps questioning how he manages to lose so often and gets paired with toxic players but never realizes that he is the catalyst for all of it.
