Heroes of the Storm - It's like if Blizzard made Smash Bros. but not! - Games

Damn, I'm loving Janna. Back when I played in Alpha/Beta, my biggest complaint was that since there was no items in the game and no real way to get ahead in a game by a large margin, I felt so weak, like none of my characters could actually do much, I felt like I could never kill anyone and had little impact throughout the game. I don't know if it's just Janna or that was actually an issue and they changed it but I can 100-0 with Janna in a single combo and it feels great.

I'm hoping the next update is Starcraft themed and we get either Dehaka or Infested Stukov.

Need more non-Warcraft support heroes.

The damage is real.

Cone of frost into blizzard and frostbolt spam just decimates people along with the water elemental for overkill. I take the perk that makes it so my chilled targets take more damage AND the perk that makes my cone of frost also weaken the target for another 25% additional damage. If I'm in range to open up with the cone, I can just one shot someone.

Water Ele is pretty crap though. Too many people take it, drop it, and just forget about it like it can take care of itself and it just dies to any little bit of damage. Circle of Frost is fucking amazing though and no one fucking takes that skill even though it can destroy any teamfight in combination with a competent Warrior.

Grabbed Li Li, went like 20-0 with her. Not bad, I think I'll grab Blood Elf guy next. Him or Sylvanas. Is Tyrande good?

My win streak has reached double digits. I don't know how to actually lose, like even games where it's not going our way we tend to take it. I don't know if it's extreme team luck, my experience playing MOBAs, or maybe the opening week attracting a lot of new players but damn. I've been alternating between Kerrigan and Li Li, and man Li Li is straight outta Compton, blowing up people faster than most terrorist organizations She heals for an almost laughable amount, it's insane. Pulling off a well timed ult pretty much wins you the game

Li Li is great but in some compositions it's terrible because you can't direct her heal in the same was you can with someone like uther

Playing Zagara makes me feel like I'm actually good at starcraft, when in reality I'm not.

I gave this a chance back in beta, and did not like it at all. After some pushing from friends this past weekend, I gave it another shot Sunday night. Level 13, beginner's pack purchased, multiple heroes to level 5, and somewhere around 10-11 hours logged. My biggest struggle right now is splitting time between this and Elite:Dangerous.

I'm loving how The Lost Vikings play. They are a heck tonne of fun, but I hate how Blizzard took all the RTS mechanics out of their own RTS engine. I would love to be able to bind Baelog and Eric together, or at least to select them both at the same time without having to select Olaf.

I would even prefer that if they, instead of putting in custom control groups, would allow you to at least be able to hold shift while pressing a Viking's number to select/deselect him in addition to currently selected viking(s). Best you can do to select two right now is double tap to go to one, select the other one you want with a number, then shift click to get the one you just jumped to. Not good.

I keep seeing the Diablo 2 Amazon and that makes me excited about the potential for more Diablo 2 heroes.

Where the fuck is Deckard Cain? One if his ults can be a 3s root/stun called Stay a while, and listen!

Is it me or is Sonya stupid broken? Regardless of who I play, who my friends play, who the enemy is, whichever team has the Sonya, they win. My buddy is great with Sonya, we played 25 matches in a row with him as her, we won 25 in a row. He played illidan next match, we went against a Sonya, then we lost. Then we played another after, he was Sonya vs another Sonya. We barely won, but the enemy Sonya kept their whole team together.

Sonya is one of the worst Warriors in the game right now, by far. The level of team coordination she needs to be effective is insane and her damage output by itself is really low. Leap is probably the simplest initiation tool in the game, but that is the only plus I can think for her right now. She needs buffs, badly, in almost every area of the hero. Also, correlation does not imply causation.

Hey guys, just got 10k gold. Who would you recommend I buy? I was thinking Nova, but I feel like I might get bored with her. She seems pretty easy. I was thinking Kel thas since his spells look pretty cool

I think Kael is in a weird spot right now. He can do the damage, but he has serious problems escaping from people, more than most caster Assassins I think. Nova is still a solid hero, if a total cunt.

I enjoy Chen a lot. He's really fun, even if his damage output isn't so great. I must not be building him right. Right now it's a coin toss between Kael and Chen.
