Heroes of the Storm - It's like if Blizzard made Smash Bros. but not! - Games

I had to lane against E.T.C. and Chen, solo at first because no one mid would rotate, so I was already having an "Ah, shit." moment. Nova came top, did nothing, went back mid, Valla came top, did way better and we laned it like that until we started moving around. They got the first two tribs after insanely long fights and then they just...stopped getting them. It's like they went "We don't need those, fuck 'em." and we just got three Tribs for free and pushed the forts super hard. This Nova was so on point with her ulties too. She must have killed someone every time she used it. My favorite moment was when they were doing their golem and we kinda knew it was happening. Me and Nova walk over, I Leap in with my second ultimate augment, trap three, I Whirlwind, she drops her ultimate and we kill everyone and steal the golem. :v: It was amazing. I should make a video of it.

I've only played a little bit so far, and I'm not very good, but I really like Anub'Arak, and while I've only tested him out, Tychus seems like a lot of fun.

Tychus is a top tier hero as of now, and he got buffed last patch. Sonya, but she is pretty under powered right now. Sgt. Hammer is actually a lot more fun than I imagined and I might actually pick her up after the free week is over.

I think Arthas is way better than Muradin. He just has more abilities that affect team fights better than Mur and both his ultimates are very good.

How do you level Nova now that they killed her burst damage build? Holos?

Nah I still focus on damage. Like you can't solo kill most heroes until you get decently ahead but if you just focus on ganking for other lanes you'll still get kills easy as hell.

I'm really digging this game. DoTA is too stressful for me, LoL is too toxic for me, but this just hits all the sweet spots for me. I got to try sgt hammer earlier and was able to get 260k siege damage but we still lost. :suicide: Hammer seems like a character that you have to pick around to be successful.

Hammer does have a decent amount of combat ability though, especially if you go Napalm. Napalm really let's you participate in team fights for sooo much longer.

Let's take a look at how much this event would cost in LoL. In LoL $20 nets you 2800 RP. 2800 RP is suspiciously short of the 2925 RP you would need for three 975 RP skins. So you would need to spend $25 for $21 worth of skins. And despite having to pay more cash than cost of what you want no one raises an eyebrow about the costs because the whole event system runs on some bullshit ass fun bucks system.
