i haven't played hots in a while but that looks radical as fuck [editline]8th November 2015[/editline] I want to love this game so fuckin bad but when it's running on a computer like this [t]http://i.imgur.com/LCkGG4u.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/lNOFjaH.jpg[/t] and shit doesn't load in constantly, the frame rate will dip for no reason, the game takes up so much memory, it's so technically poorly a mad game I can never enjoy it and it makes me sad
i'm playing on a 4 year old laptop, it runs pretty well, my biggest problem is with lag spikes which kill my fps
Got into this after my girlfriend wouldn't stop talking about the new Champs unveiled at Blizzcon. Coming from League, it's a real change of pace but I really like it. I've been playing Azmodan for 4 or so games and really enjoying him, not sure which Hero I should pick up though. I have enough money to get a 4k Hero, I'm thinking Tyrael looks really fun. That said, I played the undead mines map and I can see why people don't like it. You either go into the mines or a giant golem wrecks your team. But if the enemy are far enough ahead that they're winning in the mines, the golem is just the icing on their victory cake.
What I did was hold off on buying anyone until after they came up in the free hero rotation. As a bonus, you get 500 gold when you get a hero to lvl 5. So I decided to try getting every hero to lvl 5 (have 4 left) and that has given me a pretty good understanding of who I enjoy playing and the game in general. That's just me though. If you really want to play a character you can always try them out in the shop and / or watch some games on YouTube. Would definitely recommend getting each hero to lvl 5 during a free rotation though, if you're not doing that already. I wound up buying some heroes that I didn't think I would enjoy just from that.
Browder said you just get Cho. I was stomping about as Muradin last night, a lot of fun.
Tyrael will be free this week, just hold off a few hours.
Has anyone else found getting a hero up to lvl 10 to be infuriating It's taken my 100x longer than it did to get to lvl 8 than it did to get to lvl 5 Like I played the majority of the Halloween games on hammer and I'm only like just to lvl 9 and I think I've probably played a hundred games on hammer
Just getting from 8 to 9 is already a slog. I only have two heroes who are at least level ten, and not many more that are nine.
How's Johanna as a champ? She's pretty expensive but I'm working my way towards a 10k Hero, I really like Paladin archetypes who are about not dying or hitting things with a big sword and Uther is a massive pussy.

You can always go to try out mode to get a feel for each hero kit that you're interested in. Uther is a top tier support pick and if you're trying to play him as a warrior then you're playing him completely wrong.

Cho'Gall is out today

So I've discovered this game only recently and some friend got me into it If you are interested, my Battle.net ID is EliaMoroes#2772 After a long career (?) in Dota 2, this game is somehow very refreshing and I really like its general gameplay, my only grip being how the game handles heroes to you While we are on the subject, should I always invest my gold in unlocking the heroes in the rotation I like the most or I can safely start spending it on the cheapest heroes of the shop I'm willing to play?

Then when I'm at about 10K gold I think about getting a new one. Uther for best support

You gain 500 gold for reaching level 5 with any hero. If any of them really click with you then I say grab them with the gold you earn. You are better off getting lower cost heroes now than saving for 10k gold heroes this early on. There is a starter bundle with 3 heroes and 1 mount for 4.99$ which is a great deal if you are willing to spend a little cash. Eternal Devotion (Trait) Spirit form duration decreased from 10 to 8 seconds Divine Shield (R) Cooldown increased from 70 to 90 seconds
Vmonkey #1752 I have cho'gall, just add me and we'll play a quick bot game to get it for you too
Oh man, someone ingame asked me if I could give him cho'gall, I said sure and I wrote down his name. I forgot blizzard games have that little hash tag thing right after you have to get. There wouldn't happen to be a way to find players you recently played with, would there? I feel like kind of a dick Also if you want the ogre STD I can spread it to you too, Zarthalan#1565. Two bot games will take like 30 minutes.
You can also type /chogall in the chat in game and find someone to do a quick AI run without adding them to your bnet friends. If you do AI teammates as well and ping everyone to follow you to push one lane you can finish the two matches within 10-20 mins depending on the maps.

chogall is so fucking fun holy shit I haven't played the game in like three months but this revitalized my interest in it I love playing as the movement man. Which ever that one is.

i just bought jaina for 10k and she gets knocked down to 4k ha ha
i just bought jaina for 10k and she gets knocked down to 4k ha ha
Really? That sucks. Is there a rhythm or reason to it or do they just knock off prices whenever? I have like 15,000g but I have no idea how the pricing of heroes works. I want to get someone like Johanna but she may drop in price soon since she's been out for a while.
i just bought jaina for 10k and she gets knocked down to 4k ha ha
from your sorrow, i shall benefit This purchase is for you good sir [editline]17th November 2015[/editline] i didn't even want jaina
ok the grind on a hero from 9 to 10 is rediculous. i need 4,732,210 xp on hammer to get to lvl 10, if i do that on AI games (the quickest method) thats ~80 games to get to level 10, however as profile wide stat, i've only played ~150 games right now, so i have to play over half the number of total games ive played so far to get a character up to level 10 i mention AI matches because they only seem to take me 20 minutes each so at 20 minutes, they want me to put in 1600 minutes in to get to level 10, or 26 hours conservatively to level up from 9 to 10 oddly enough i've won 32 games as hammer so far, though thats a mix of AI and actual matches and i can't seperate those statistics yet, so the moral of the story, this is grindy
If you play with a friend it's twice as fast.
If you play with a friend it's twice as fast.
ya i'm probably doing it the slowest way possible, but i'm just throwing numbers together to demonstrate how horrible the level scale is
Anyone wanna write up a quick summary for the OP for Battlefield of Eternity and Infernal Shrines? And lemme know if I should change anything for any of the other sections.
