I wonder if the reason why these similar talents aren't stacking correctly due to the way heroes level up now from this patch? Team fights with sylvanas are rough till you get your Ult(wailing arrow) but after that you can basically initiate a team wipe. She can really help your team steam roll through lanes and if left alone early game she can destroy a lane all by herself. When you target a tower/keep, you can shut it down, as long you keep targeting it. Just make sure to not target one without ammo since that would be counter productive if any of them still have ammo.
I've been thinking about getting Arthas simply for his character. Is he good?
I don't feel like I understand how to Leoric. Ghost Walk in, Drain Hope on their tank, Spectral Swing as much of their team as I can, for the slow, and then...wait on my cooldowns and land some auto attacks?
Let me know if you want Cho'gall. I'll get you him.
if you could get me and my friend it thatd be cool, im Laika#1174

I'd save ghost walk for defensive purposes most of the time because you can bait out stuns with it and get away super easy. Don't be afraid to die but don't throw your life away for nothing. Entomb if you have AoE heroes on your team and they don't have a lot of people that can escape it. Get regen or defensive talents.
Granted, I'm just a newcommer, but does anyone else think Cho'Gall is a bit overpowered? He takes two characters slot yes, but you get a hero with a fuckton of health who doesn't die unless the whole enemy team focuses on him, can spam both close range and unbeliveably long range attacks without worrying of running of mana Also, the supposed handicap of two players needing to "cooperate" and "syncronizing well" to play him effectively is nowhere to be seen: as Cho you just have to move around and punch things and with Gall you just hit the enemies with everything you have

It might be useful for the first few levels but you will run out of mana problems mid-late game. Reanimation gets better and better as the game goes on and even works when you are dead. Try something like this and see how it goes: Reanimation > hardened bones when faced with burst, vessel when faced with slow tanks, and fealty can be good on spider map and shrines>Renewal > Flex > Flex (ignore momentum) > Renewed Swing on shrines, consume vitality most of the time, and IP when the other team has 2 or more auto attackers > Everything here is good except buried alive. Tinker around with the other options at 20 since they are all pretty good.

I had never really tried Reanimation, or the similar traits some other champs give, I assumed the health over time would ramp up too slow to be noticable. Is Spell Shield very worthwhile?

Looking at my personal winrate with that spellsheild, it's actually the lowest. I'll take back what I said about momentum. There's probably instances where it could be useful; I've just never used it.

That 21(?)% winrate kinda speaks for itself. He only has like 1.5x the health of a regular hero, and he gets absolutely shredded by percent damage, which is really common. And besides, he takes away from the team's map presence.

A lot of them game's I've been in with him They just tend to try and get merc camps while objectives are up, leaving the rest of the team to 3v5 fights. Plus, Gall overall is pretty underwhelming, before 10 all he really has is poke on 3 and 6 second cooldowns. He's a lot of fun, but from my personal experience [sp]as scrubtastic as it is, I admit[/sp], I haven't seen any situations where he's a better pick than just having any other Fighter/Assassins work together
You can easily ruin a Cho'Gall's day with either Stitches or Anub'arak. They both can turn a 5v5 into a 3v5 for a long enough time to pick out all the glass cannons on the enemy team. He's really strong in quick match where you can't build a team against him reliably, but he suffers so much in ranked when he isn't last pick.
I've been thinking about getting Arthas simply for his character. Is he good?
He's pretty strong and can stick to squishies pretty well with his E, and has a lot of movement control, but has issues of being kited untill dead.
Gonna get the Butcher, Tyrande, and Nova. Around 15-16k gold, now I just have to decide who to get first..
Anyone else who does this? [t]http://f2.braxupload.se/ozezul.jpg[/t] I level all my owned heroes to 10+ and then purchase the master skin for them. Working on Muradin right now. [editline]21st November 2015[/editline] Also the only things I've purchased for money in this game are 2-3 stimpacks, buying heroes for money seem pretty pointless if you play the game often enough already. I guess it's more useful if you're a new player and want a jumpstart into ranked play or if you are eager to play a certain character but don't have enough gold to unlock it.
I've been thinking about getting Arthas simply for his character. Is he good?
a good self sustaining tank with a good amount of cc, try it before you buy it tho, so if he gets a free week try your luck then
a good self sustaining tank with a good amount of cc, try it before you buy it tho, so if he gets a free week try your luck then
What's cc?
Anyone else who does this?
I wish i could :( i have several heroes i super love, but i just get bored if i play the same thing over and over. Tyrande, Arthas, Uther and Valla are all 8/9 but im still nowhere near getting one to 10.
Is Sylvanas any good? A botgame isn't really indicative of any quality, but she seems pretty powerful if you can micro your attacks to push down lanes and towers and clear jungle camps? Are you just meant to spam her Q as well?
she has that thing that disables towers and weakens creeps, which coupled with a hero like hammer can be pretty powerful for duos or lets her solo towers for a splitpush, plus she can solo mercs and usually survives fights
What's cc?
crowd control, the ability to slow, stun, silence, affect a person's mobility and effectiveness essentially [editline]21st November 2015[/editline] if you wanna play some bot matches, i'd be more than happy to join you
Brightwing is such a good counter to Cho'gall. Polymorph does wonders.
is the effect reduced at all? At the very least i'd think gall can still cast in that form
From what I saw, since I was playing brightwing, cho/gall didn't use any of their abilities during it. I tried to polymorph while the Shadow bolt ult was active but it kept firing. [editline]21st November 2015[/editline] After looking up from the Cho'gall perspective it seems that it does shut them both down according to other player reports. [editline]21st November 2015[/editline] Apparently this includes the polymorph from the Garden terror as well.
that's a pretty big hard counter then
Just how viable is Khazarim as a damage dealer? I'm debating picking him up since he's on sale
Just how viable is Khazarim as a damage dealer? I'm debating picking him up since he's on sale
He works in a pinch, but is more of a support. You are better off buying an assassin if you want damage.
New Carbot, I laughed so hard at the end
drool drag was da best
Is there any reason this game doesn't have a death recap? I've not played every champion yet and it'd be good to know what things are big hitters and what aren't. Sometimes if I face someone new I get blown up immediately and I don't know what what did me in.
