Also debuffs. W should be strong against AA heroes, should at the very least make Raynor a tiny bit more cautious about getting cc'ed out of position and then crippled with W. More reliable damage, too.
Xul seems very boring. Turn 4 lane minions into 4 skeletons for 15 seconds, make a teleporting boomerang like D3 demonhunter & turn basic attack into AOE attack
What, no corpse explosion? Incredibly useful if you want your enemy to run back into their gate before getting rooted so you can't kill them??

I'm really hoping that these two heroes shake up the meta some.

If they don't, they're forced to stay engaged for 2 seconds, possibly in a really bad spot. Plus, a 2 second root will be the longest single CC on a non-heroic ability in the entire game, so I don't understand what you mean by "only lasts" 2 seconds. Nor do I understand the comparison to living bomb in any way at all except for the fact that it's an ability that targets a single enemy hero. Overall I like the idea of him pretty decently. Here's hoping he and Li-Ming aren't actually garbage on launch like the last several hero releases.

The only difference is the effect. Also, rooted enemies can still attack and use abilities, it's not a stun.
It can still fuck you up.
It can still fuck you up.
I haven't said it does nothing. I said it can and should be improved on, even if it's better with traits later on it's pretty awful on its own. I can definitely see people who aren't old enough to read using this ability on tiny units in lane just wasting their mana before objectives start.

Maybe if it had like half a second less warning time it'd be even better, but right now it's pretty solid as basic abilities go. Also I can't say I've met anyone like that in my experiences. I would probably just give up all my hope right then and there.

Yesterday I met a Kharazim level 40 who didn't know you could hit B to teleport home OR drink from health fountains. He spent 8 minutes in a bush doing nothing, just waiting for his mana and health to regen. "IDIOT I AM NOT HIDING I AM HEALING" he told us when we told him to stop hiding and teleport hiome. He had 7k experience contributed, the rest of our team was 20 - 28k.
What the fuck? How are people like that even if they skip the tutorial. The B thing I can slightly understand but when the fountains clearly state "click here to heal" and other characters tell you constantly to visit a fountain it can't be easy for it to go over your head. The only major reason I can think of is if he was playing on a friend's account or something.

I meet them every other day or so. Not every game, no, but they're definitely not a rarity.

Man, I just had the most clutch save as BW last game.

Now that brightwing is so much more viable, I want to see a Kaijo Brightwing skin that turns her into Mothra.
Now that brightwing is so much more viable, I want to see a Kaijo Brightwing skin that turns her into Mothra.
What made BW more viable than before?
What made BW more viable than before?
Her Q got a pretty big damage boost for the center ring and also costs less mana iirc. I certainly never had a problem with her even before her healing buff. But she did lack any sort of damage other than auto-attacks. I always stopped using the Q at around lvl 10 because it just cost too much mana for doing basically nothing. Now it can at least provide some good damage. It's not a big change and I don't think it makes her too much more viable than before.
On certain maps it will make her more viable than usual because she can now lane clear properly with the added Q damage and blink in when needed for objectives.
Li-Ming is badass. First game got 16 kills, 18 assists, and 90k hero damage. She is deadly.
Li-Ming is badass. First game got 16 kills, 18 assists, and 90k hero damage. She is deadly.
I think 7/8 of my kills as murky was a clumsy Li Ming. She's also the squishest of the squish. [editline]4th February 2016[/editline] When an assassin at 80% health is running away from a damaged Murky, that assassin is definitely not able to take control of a lane.
It's pretty dumb when I see Li-Ming kill a fully stacked Diablo before he can react though. Li Ming is seriously Nova 2 electric boogaloo.
I think Blackheart's bay is my least favorite map still. It's so aggressively fighting-centric that teams get super punished if one guy tries to split push instead of team fight. It's a one-dimensional map and not really fun in any way imo. Also Artanis is real fun but I think he should get the level 16 dash (the only talent at that level you should ever take) moved to an earlier level because he's sort of weak until he hits that talent.
Artanis makes me so mad when he constantly shields himself and I can't ever kill him
Artanis makes me so mad when he constantly shields himself and I can't ever kill him
Slowing his attack speed & making him miss is devastating for him, however. Unlike other heroes where it doesn't have that much of a consequence in the long run.
The last patch ruined the game for now. It's as unbalanced as it never has been since release.
