Description
Tracer is by definition a ranged assassin. She can go in, pick off or harass enemies and return with her Recall (E) ability. Dustin Browder explained that those who played her in Overwatch might have an advantage in understanding how she moves.
However a few changes were made to adjust her to Heroes of the Storm. For instance, when she Recalls (E) in Overwatch she regains her original HP, but in Heroes that does not happen, instead only debuffs are removed!
Players need to be very careful when playing as Tracer, preferably staying with their team and combo'ing her abilities with theirs. If they wander alone, warriors like ETC and Muradin can easily lock her down and kill her.
Trait & Active Skills
Reload: Tracer is able to use basic attacks while moving. Activate to reload all your ammo over 0.75 seconds. This activates automatically when ammo reach 0. Basic attacks consume ammunition.
(Q) Blink - Moves rapidly toward the target location. It Includes 3 charges. Cooldown: 6 seconds
(W) Melee - Performs damage to an enemy, giving priority to the closest one. Hitting non-hero enemies gives 5 charges of Pulse Bomb. Hitting Heroes grants 10 charges (possibly % based). Cooldown: 8 seconds
(E) Recall - Returns the player to the position they were 3 seconds ago. Also recharges ammunition and cleanse all negative debuffs. Grants 1 second of invulnerability. Cooldown: 30 seconds
Heroic (R) / Pulse Bomb - throws a bomb that sticks to the first target hit, doing high area damage or 2x that damage if it hits a single target.
Dealing damage charges this ability!
Tracer has only one Heroic and that is available from level 1. At level 10 she gains the ability to augment Pulse Bomb with a talent.
Adhesive pump - Increases the radius by 50% and slows enemies hit by 60% for 30 seconds - (error in the article? possibly 3 seconds?)
Quantum event - The Pulse Bomb no longer deals area damage, but deals additional damage based on 15% of your maximum energy to a single target.
Pulse Ammo - Doubles the range of the Pulse Bomb and basic attacks against Heroes recharge it 50% faster.
Heroes' April Fools page, it actually works too!
The Sylvanas revamp is great. I already liked her before, but she's so much more fun to play right now.
I'm loving the Azmodan buff. No lane is safe from the dunk from downtown.
For the Sylvanas revamp, I found I loved all of her tiers except for 1, never sure what to take.
For Azmodunk do you guys use the one that gives more damage from kills or more damage over distance?

Depends on the map and team setup. Usually on maps with 3 lanes you profit more from taking Taste for Blood.
I run Taste for blood primarily, but on certain maps where you can't reliably and safely farm two lanes the siege talent is safer and more useful.
Anyone played the new Tychus?

Yeah he seems harder to play without first aid
You can get some really good healing from That's the Stuff! at level 13.
Fuck Li fucking Ming.
I feel like there's some line you cross as a Zeratul player when you use your Void Prison to try and save allies, and it completely throws you off using the ult offensively. It's like I tripped a switch in my head. It's even worse because the switch flipped right before the final teamfight and I threw it so hard by ulting all of my team to, I thought, nullify the enemies wombo combo. As it was, they just waited the VP out and then wombo'd us. Oops.
Oh my god the teams tonight. They just don't know how to engage at all. Having the tank get kited and killed yet they still try to go in.
A PSA for those who don't know: It's 100% OK to run from an enemy team trying to engage in their favor. Better to run and live than die.
Of course I get my team mad at me that I don't go in to die needlessly and lane instead.

Talk about small.
I just like how Blizzard balances games.
Enemy team is level 20+
My team has a level 6 player

That just gauges how much time the player has put into the game and not their skill level.
Why is this dead? Does no one play Heroes anymore?
I still play it semi-regularly, but this thread doesn't seem to generate quite as much content as the league or dota threads, likely do to the smaller playerbase comparatively. I love playing Azmodan primarily, but the introduction of Chromie has made my perch and dunk lifestyle somewhat hazardous as of late.
The game is B-level in everything, imo. B-level gameplay, B-level concepts, B-level graphics and art design, B-level unlocking system, and B-level maps and overall game designs. It's not outright bad, but there's genuinely no reason to play it while games like League and Dota simply exist.
It only appeals to people who want a more simple Moba, or people who love Blizzard. I've been playing since early closed Alphas and I'm only around level 20. Game hardly has any mechanics to keep a player engaged over a long period of time.
Maybe, I played League for some three years straight and towards the end I just got so sick of it due to a multitude of reasons. I played a game of HotS and found its simpler gameplay really appealing, you didn't have the "well mid fed talon a kill and jungler not ganking gg" that plagues League, because pretty much every game mechanic within HotS is about playing around your team, no-one champion has a kit that lets them 1v5 and carry teams and that really appealed to me. It still does, even though I play it less since I'm dedicating time to other games right now. I'd say I definitely prefer its graphical design to League and Dota though, League is a game which can't decide what aesthetic it wants in a fantasy world and suffers for it, and DotA always seemed a little hazy to me. Physically that is, everything looks a bit too soft and fluffy around the edges and it hurts my eyes.
I also like the quests in HotS, play X class or Y from this game line, it encourages you to spread your interests rather than "No I main KT and KT only" if you want to unlock other Heroes. Skin variations and master skins I also like, especially since they're free. I might be a bit biased though.

I know it's your opinion but I have to disagree on that. Why play it when League and Dota exist? Because it's different. There are no items and gold to spend, and there's global XP. Plus, there are the map objectives, which kinda makes the team group and do the objective.
I really like Heroes because of that, it's a friendlier game than League, and there aren't as many jackasses like League and Dota have, that will insanely get mad at you because you don't know how to play.

This is sort of what I mentioned in the part of my message that you edited out in your reply.

If you're part of the target audience, then by all means continue enjoying the game. I'm just stating why I think the game hardly has any real traction in terms of player base and overall lack of excitement people have towards the game.
I find it more fun than League or Dota imo
So I played a string of games today after an Overwatch binge, and I had an absolute blast.
I'm still not a huge fan of Chromie, her W (?), the AoE blast, feels like it has no real reason to not show where it's being cast for the damage it does. The cast time of it is pretty short as it stands, so if it's cast on you it'll likely hit you even if you know it's coming and try to move. Medivh is also a really cool hero, quite creative and a great enabler for your teammates to make plays from. I like his Polybomb ult a lot.
A big patch including two new hero, Gul'dan and Zagara 2.0, is now live.

Well, I finally got around to doing my placement matches.
Guess it's time to stop playing ranked now.
Starting playing this just for the Genji skin, bit it's growing on me. Just had a Malfurion game where I didn't die, healed like 32% of all damage and had over 100,000 healing by the end.
I'm getting my friends into this game slowly, but one of them has sunk so much money into League that he won't admit he doesn't actually like playing that game anymore. Oh well, really liking that more people are getting into this.
