I just started playing Greymane recently. Getting into that rhythm of switching forms is just amazing.
Just had a game on cursed hollow where the enemy team had literally 0 map awareness, I grabbed their siege and they didn't do anything about it until their fort was half dead, then we grabbed the boss and even we forgot about it until it killed their core :v:
Bought Stitches with gold and kind of regret it, wish I got Auriel instead or something.
i love playing murky and having people mistake me for being an easy target the entire game just because he's squishy at early levels... then i hit 20, take big tuna kahuna and they waste their ults and die on me for nothing
Didn't blizzard say they were going to implement voice chat in the game? It would be so much easier to coordinate with comes.
I'd kill for Hanamura to be removed from the game
Is it just me, or is Cho'Gall like the biggest pubstomp hero? Every solo game or small party I've been in against a Cho'Gall he always seems to destroy my team and I. It feels hopeless, I feel like giving up every time I'm against him.
And then you run into an enemy team that has Tychus, Leoric, and Valla.
We're talking solo/small group quickmatch, so unless the stars align and my team picks those heroes into Cho'Gall while I support then, I'm kinda fucked.

Just to be sure: is Illidan far too squishy to be actually worth it or I am a dumbass and can't play him properly?
Just to be sure: is Illidan far too squishy to be actually worth it or I am a dumbass and can't play him properly?
Illidan is the sort of Hero that, if the team supports him, can carry a game. He won't make the plays and get the solo kills all on his own, but if everyone follows him, cleanses at the right times and stops their CC, he will destroy you.
uh, illidan solo-kills the fuck out of people easily, it's one of the things he's best at. unless you meant he won't be getting all of the kills in teamfights or something
We're talking solo/small group quickmatch, so unless the stars align and my team picks those heroes into Cho'Gall while I support then, I'm kinda fucked.
Depending on the heroes you pick, it's still possible to win vs him. Him being worth two heroes worth of xp means that him making mistakes is extra punishing even if he gets a few levels behind you. Since you mentioned support, off the top of my head. All sorts of CC fucks him extra hard as long as your team follows up, until he gets lv16 where he can talent his Q to give him unstoppable + heal. After that your options get a bit more limited so if you play Malfurion for example you've got a problem unless you have twilight dream to take away his Q. If you happen to play Kharazim, seven sided strike basically breaks him. Keep in mind that Gall can still use his skills when Cho is silenced. You can also see his current trait mode via the circle below his feet (orange - Cho takes 25% less damage, Purple - Gall deals 25% more damage) Chogall is the sort of hero that gains the most from being atleast a single level ahead of you, even if it's not a talent one, imo. So aslong as your team does not provide him that he's much less of a threat. iirc Gall's Q and shadowbolt volley also scale faster than basically everything else in the game so he benefits from a level advantage more than other heroes due to that too. If any of that is obvious or this isn't helpful at all, I apologize I ended up just listing my own experiences both as playing against and as him.
uh, illidan solo-kills the fuck out of people easily, it's one of the things he's best at. unless you meant he won't be getting all of the kills in teamfights or something
I'd say he's not as good at it as he used to be tbh. Most of the recent heroes I can think of plain deny him one way or another unless his team supports.

I guess the main goal when fighting Cho'Gall is to try and shut him down in the beginning of the match. The biggest problem I find with him is that during teamfights everyone just avoids him while he dishes out damage, like that big health bar is just plain discouraging to try and burst through.
You know, I really appreciate how HotS is able to take the true essence of Overwatch characters, and adapt them to the game in a way that really just adds a new dimension to my seething antipathy towards D.va.

Illidan can do well in a 1v1, but he doesn't win teamfights on his lonesome.
Ah ok, yeah that makes sense. Also I agree that HOTS is very good at making me despise Overwatch characters like Zarya and DVA even more
Are the dailies given to your truly random, or are they based on frequency of what roles/franchises you play most? I ask because I keep getting the 3 Games as a Support quest, as if I don't play the role enough as it is.

May be worth not completing the quest the day you get it so you're more likely to get the 600 and 800g quests the next day. Despite Blizz nerfing my boy Dehaka pretty fuckin hard, I still love playing him. Got a 73.1% winrate with him over 52 games, too.
they didnt nerf dehaka that hard, he's still a beast.
His winrate has dropped 6%, from an already balanced 50%. Pretty solid nerf, if only for the fact that they streamlined him into a single build and made a lot of talents irrelevant.

Huh, so he dropped ~3% down to about 50 diamond-master, so I guess he's at a comfortable winrate at that level of play. What site is that info from?

I need Blizz to release a Dva skin that changes her voice so I don't have to listen to that shit.
