His trait and his 2nd ult option seem ridiculously strong and I wonder how will his basic auto attack damage be like given his trait.

people are already mentioning that aside from his trait he seems to have very little other damage. i'm gonna wait till he comes out before i make any judgements tbh

he already seems very countered by furion and any other healing over time. This hero is a joke tbh and blizzard needs to make more supports.

Way too early to tell before seeing his talents.
So far he looks like he's made to shred through warriors.

Season ends 13th and that's generally when the patch hits so PTR then release.
Remember to do your team league stuff before the season ends for free mount and some gold.

He seems stupid strong with that passive.
I've got every other hero, might as well get him too. Looks like he works kind of like Lunara, except he gets heals from his type of "poison", which could give him more sustain than her.
Either way, I'll probably get my 10 placement matches in at the start of the new season then go back to vs AI. I got so tired of toxic people in hero league, and even though me and a friend did ALL of our placement matches together, it still only gave me bronze 4 while he got silver 3. So now I'm just trying to get every hero to level 5 in vs AI and play some quick match to have more games so I can place closer to where I should be. Apparently it takes into consideration how many games you've played when determining your placement. I'm just tired of people who don't know what an objective is, when not to team fight, and don't know how to soak. Until they fix matchmaking, I'm just going to casual and learn every hero.

Yes, in Team League everyone who placed is guaranteed the mount also.

But that's Uther! I really like all the sprays, wish there were a few more skins but I guess you can't have it all. Xul and Maltheal have the best sprays by far though, no question.

His dance is also the Haddaway - What is Love? head bob. I can't wait for nobody to pick any warriors on the chance that Malthael will be on the enemy team. I'm very curious to see if Malthaels' passive will apply to things like Immortals, Garden Terrors and Dragon Knights though. They're not structures and Malthael could easily 'backdoor' to refresh his passive on these objectives while a teamfight happens.
I'm so done with ranked, sick of people picking squishies against an obvious butcher dive comp and then die 3 times the first minute and then try to blame the team for losing.
Don't let other people make you give up. If possible, try counterpicking into their setup so that the team has at least one strategy they can fall back on. You can try discussing picks with your teammates as well, try to reason with them.
