I don't know, what is it?
helios127 missed the joke apparently
I don't know, what is it?
It's Barbie Horse Adventures, duh!
I'll have an office and pawn in game come the next update, as will the core members :) Now we've pandered to the fans we can have a bit of fun ourselves. Hell, might even give myself a house in queen estates.
Yeah, we probably should have focused the AMA more directly on the updates or done it when we were more ready to announce something. I really hate Reddit's commenting system, what an ass ache that is to use.
Are the dog barking noises in POSTAL 2 actually dog noises, or some bloke impersonating a dog?
They are Mike I think.
They are Mike I think.
Well, Mike does like dogs...
Things are on sale for cheap low money ($3.74) but it was probably posted already.

Heh ha
For the next Postal game, you should just kidnap Frank Welker and force him to make dog noises.
They are Mike I think.
correct!
Mike have you ever heard the noises a dog makes when it barks?
No and NO
I've always considered the dog sounds to be very similar to Tim Allen's grunts.
correct!
how did you get into character for them
I was looking through the triggers in the maps and found an old, rarely-noticed Easter egg.
Head to the burned out auditorium of the Compound:

Since this is a basketball court, test your skill and slam a cat into the hoop:

A successful jam of a cat causes the buzzer to ring and a reward of three catnips to spawn on the table:

There's also a fairly uninteresting "duckhunt" secret in the Forest.
Mike you better work on the tamakrotchy or I'm coming over there with the toysrus castration kit
You better listen, man.
ToysRUs aint nothin to fuck with.
whats the duckhunt secret?
In the Forest, there's a secret sniper perch high atop the mountains:
[t]http://i.imgur.com/gCOFN6P.jpg[/t]
When you pick up the sniper rifle, you activate the "duckhunt". This is a string of continuously spawning bystanders below you that provide free target practice:

Somewhat amusing, but not the greatest payoff. I'm sure there are much more interesting secrets in POSTAL 2 still yet to be found.
Why don't games reward you for exploring anymore? It's usually either nothing interesting, or "RETURN TO THE COMBAT ZONE IMMEDIATELY" bullcrap.
Postal 2, however, is like an Easter egg hunt at your local church, hiding away rewarding secrets where people don't expect them. It's awesome and one of the reasons I love this game.

there are countless games that are great and reward exploration, but if you stick to the modern military shooters (the ones that prominently feature "return to the combat zone immediately messages") and other mainstream games, you'll miss out on them. $0.02

What's Postal 1 like, worth getting?
What's Postal 1 like, worth getting?
Its meerly okay, a fun little distraction if you like top-down shooters (which I do)
It will make you very glad they went the direction they did for Postal 2, though.

I did find that perch ( I have a screenshot on my profile) but I did not know it triggered an event.
mikej you are a weak ass bitch
whats your stats
I used to be really mean when it came to using the Sniper. Aimed for the throat (It usually nailed the head hitbox anyway), or shoot someone in the leg (Which in reality would blow that leg out pretty damn bad) to make them crawl
[editline]20th February 2014[/editline]
Oh yeah, I wasn't sure how to report this, let alone if someone has already mentioned it, but I found this little texture bug in the secret passage in the Bank

Weapons that leave bulletholes lack transparency. IIRC I fired a pistol on the left, shotgun center and machine gun right.
Any chance of a minimap or is that for the modders once workshop is implemented?

Like the bible?
[sp]There should be a bible pick up at the church. It should make god rays fall out of the sky once used. Hide it in christ's statue's ass.[/sp]
[sp]Also a player should have to kick christ's statue in the ass to make the book fall out of it.[/sp]
I can't believe that I'm saying this, but I want Postal 3 to go on sale so that I can buy it and find out if it really is that bad

I just did a postal 3 playthrough
it genuinely isn't worth it, it's funny at times and has some pretty good art, but the gameplay and bugs are atrocious and not worth the trouble at all

I bought it because I thought it would be funny some day.
It's still not funny, I haven't even bothered to play it.
