I'd be interested in a new RWS IP altogether or another Postal/Postal-like game. Everything in PL shows they've got great ideas, just need an engine to support said ideas to the fullest.

They havent said much, but they confirmed its being made and that the backgrounds will be 2D art again, also unreal 4. (if im not remembering wrong) There was a reddit AMA the other day where Mike J mentioned it again. My biggest hope for Postal Redux is that they keep it as dark as the original without adding Postal 2's sense of humor. It's not that it's bad, obviously, just it didn't have the humor in it, and I feel like it wouldn't be an accurate remake if they changed it from being dark and creepy to darkly humorous.

Cant wait to see how it looks, actually, considering it'll have completely redone art, and its on unreal 4. Also considering the levels are going to be nothing but images, its probably going to run smooth as butter on even low end PCs.
It is funny how chompy can be used to instantly kill EVERY boss in the game.

What's the purpose of the beanbag gun and flashbangs? Are they just nonlethal options for Jesus runs?

beanbag gun is also really good for getting somewhere quickly with a lot of hostiles around, since it instant-stuns

Throw one in his face, throw one in the vault, grab the cash and get your ass out of there Generally, they're good if you're getting mobbed because you can temporarily incapacitate a lot of enemies at once without hurting yourself with explosives. But yes they're mainly designed for jesus runs
So... any advice for the pruning mission? I really have no clue how to continue with it. The tool doesn't seem to do anything to anything.

You just have to keep using it until the invisible heath bar says you're done with that plant. I was confused too because the hit sounds make it seem like It's not working. But it just takes 3-4 seconds of continuous pruning is all.
Why are the boss fights in PL so good? Most shooter boss fights are awful, but these are actually pretty fun. Well, except for [sp]Champ[/sp], that fight sucked solely because of how much it slowed the game down.
Sorry for all launch issues any of you may have had, most are fully patched up now. If you could not run the game before, you should be able to now If you are stuck in the weed whacking errands, leave the map and return to it, should sort itself out now. For those asking about ED, yes we plan to throw a team onto it and finish it up, it's already vastly updated from the one that released back in 2006. Thanks all for the support, launch issues aside I hope you have all enjoyed paradise lost! EDIT: If case you missed it, POSTAL 2 how has full controller support.

I found it a lot easier just to smack each plant three times with the machete, less worry about gas and you can use the weed whacker on the cops.
