And on that note, vote Vince or Mike for president. EDIT:
I have an original krotchy doll but I want to get one of the new talking ones.
DADDY SAYS ONLY HE CAN TOUCH ME LIKE THAT
So i hadnt checked in on RWS in awhile, i decided "hey, i wonder what they're doing", and went to their website. Also, apparently, Postal Redux was spotted in this.
Bought the Postal Novel using Kindle App for phone. It's honestly worth picking up, it's very well written. Focuses mainly on the darker side of the Postal series ( "he beat the woman with a stick and shoved it into her rectum. He then proceeded to knock out her teeth, and thrust his erect bloody penis into her mouth.") There are some funny moments though. It's a good read.

So I brought the game in the winter sale, sadly I didnt get a chance to pick up Paradise Lost along side it Played A Week In Paradise and this has been the wildest week of all time

It's not the Dude we know. Anywho, anyone hear anything new about the Postal 1 thingy or the redo of Eternal Damnation?
Is this set in Postal 1?
It has 26 chapters of the events leading up to Postal 1, and then the last chapter is pretty much a retelling of Postal 1. It's set in the town from Postal 2 though. The character of the Postal Dude starts out as acting like the Postal 2 Dude, but he gradually loses his sanity and is convinced everyone is cows and he needs to become Jesus or something. It's an interesting read though.
Does it ever explain WHY he goes postal? Aside from the "paranormal force" and the "world gone mad" thing.
IIRC 3 explained that he was evicted and that's why he snapped. But it's Postal 3 so that could be as non-canon as the rest of the game.

Isn't it explained in the Postal 1 ending?
I think the postal 3 dude & 1 are same, the voice in postal 1 must be some mystery force order him to kill and that devil take his place and learn how to live, so postal 3 dude back from the event of paradise lost that why he less sane than the 2 dude

Plus I think the player (the guy you play as.) has a different voice when you get hit, die etc. I haven't played the game in ages, so I could be wrong on the last thing.

The OG postal dude's voice is the one that goes "judgement day is HERE" and stuff.
It's the same voice actor, so that doesn't come out as a huge suprise. :v:
I mean the demon voice was postal 2 dude's normal voice. kinda makes it seem like the demon/schizoid hallucination/whatever took him over to me
I mean the demon voice was postal 2 dude's normal voice. kinda makes it seem like the demon/schizoid hallucination/whatever took him over to me
But the Postal 1 Dude is locked up? I always thought Postal 1 and Postal 2 aren't really connected.
Just like Plost, well that devil take his place with a new look and speak the voice that only he can hear
Speaking of P3, what actually happened to the darker Catharsis we saw in the 2007 gameplay vids? Made a very nice contrast with Paradise.
Christ, thank God I can't read that. It's not the Dude we know. Anywho, anyone hear anything new about the Postal 1 thingy or the redo of Eternal Damnation?
Both are still WIP. According to the RWS Support account Redux will come before ED as there is some coding work that needs to be done on ED but they want to wait until they finish up Redux first, which makes sense. ED has come a long way though in comparison to the old version and I think you will find it is worth the wait.
What is Eternal Damnation? I've heard of Postal Redux, but never of ED [sp]That's totally a joke on erectile disfunction, isn't it?[/sp]
Eternal Damnation is a total conversion mod that was created by Resurrection Studios for Postal 2. The lead development staff of RWS is actually largely made up of members of RS at this point including Toploader, Kamek, MrDownerUp, and a few others.
the voice that the dude has in 2 is actually the demon voice from 1. The only lines attributed to the player pawn are Rick Hunter's voice, the generic pain and death grunts, and the "Fiyah!" fire voice cue which was performed by Vince.
When are we gonna hear about Redux, anyway? Its got me all excited.

I forget.
Is the Eternal Damnation remake gonna be on a new engine? I forget.
It will run on the same engine just with cleaner audio, bug fixes, a few redone maps, and some other minor chsnges.
Does it ever explain WHY he goes postal? Aside from the "paranormal force" and the "world gone mad" thing. and the sub-prime mortgage malfunction
It's explained that he goes Postal after his sister dies. He begins hearing voices in his head, and is obsessed with guarding an unexplained paranormal force. He also seems obsessed with being a good Christian, to the point of the voices in his head asking him to nail himself to a cross. This is topped off by him coming home to find his mother dead (explains various quotes in Postal 1 saying "This one's for mother!" shouted by hostiles) Due to the unpaid bills, he is also being evicted. At this point he snaps, declares himself the "celestial gardener, killer of weeds" and heads out to go postal. Along the way, the voices in his head cause him to see the people he attacks as bovine monsters, "oblivious to the truth". It also kind of ties in with Postal 3, as one of the voices he hears is described as "similar to his own, yet deeper". Mind you, the book seems more of a retelling than a backstory, so I don't think it's canon. [editline]25th January 2016[/editline] TL;DR the book explains the whole backstory, but it's a retelling and as such probably isn't canon.
