And remember the Greenbelt shed? I tried blowing it up again, but this time from a safe distance. I poured the gasoline as far as I could and threw the match. BOOM! I'm now down to 4% health and there's shit flying everywhere. I had to resort to eating dog biscuits before heading back to the Visitors Bureau for a health kit. Then my crack withdrawal kicked in, so I had to hurry to the telephone company and buy another pipe before I died. Luckily the nearby RWS protestor didn't want to fight me. Then I decided to head back to the bank and that's where I am now. EDIT: Amazingly, I could still cash my pitiful and embarassing check despite already stealing the bank's money. No robbers in sight.
That makes it sound like impossible might be easier than postal, not only for the supply of explosives but rather because enemies using them more often than not end up getting themselves killed (or set everyone on fire) The one save per day is just going to be annoying and frustrating though so I have no intention of even trying I need a reason to play through postal difficulty again because it was fun as hell, we need leaderboards!
It's actually one save per map change, not including the autosave. So if you save on the Home map, switch to Main Street, you get the autosave. You can then save again on Main Street. You can then go back to Home, get the autosave, and then save an additional time. Repeat this as many times as necessary. It's not terribly unforgiving, it just means you can't save scum your entire way; you will need some sort of skill and planning to survive entire maps, even with these measures.

am i the only one who found the secret entrance to the bank vault (accidently) before trying to cash the check? i still havent seen any bank robbers
Anybody know how to get into the mall arena? I tried dynamiting some sheetrock but that didn't do anything.
I severely underestimated impossible difficulty I mean sure the first day is the hardest and I'm out of practice but holy crap I'm getting my ass kicked
Glock has very poor accuracy too so auto firing won't get you anywhere unless they're very close, while the pistol is the closest thing to a sniper rifle
aside from the sniper rifle [editline]5th January 2014[/editline]
Anybody know how to get into the mall arena? I tried dynamiting some sheetrock but that didn't do anything.
there's a ladder you can move. i suggest using the baseball bat
there's a ladder you can move. i suggest using the baseball bat
its better to kick it with care
depends on how early you want to get up there. the baseball bat can put it up correctly the first day you get there [sp]although there's only a few weapons up there and no arena yet[/sp]
Anybody know how to get into the mall arena? I tried dynamiting some sheetrock but that didn't do anything.
I've made it a bit easier to get there, you don't necessarily need the ladder, a few well timed jumps will do the job as well ;)
I spent a good hour today walking very slowly around the mall, exploring as much of it as I could and buying plenty of pointless things with my thousands I'd gotten saved up. Is there anywhere you can buy catnip in there?
So did I miss something? I heard there was an update for this but what did it add, because it looks like a lot of new stuff is in game.

I got bored so I started using cheats [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/470924091496167642/7CBED66BAB51A5727ABE74D4A9CEA1BA3E9DC8BD/1024x481.resizedimage[/t] [t]http://cloud-3.steampowered.com/ugc/470924091496173529/5D547A29CF2131AD032D9F37DEDE09F4777B06D0/1024x481.resizedimage[/t] Krotchies in walls was the result
Also, the Perma-wanted level bug is back in Libermode.
I played this game few years back. On some shitty pirate copy. [sp]eeew[/sp] I guess its time to return to the paradise, this time on steam.
Whacking the spinning cats during apocalypse weekend with a baseball bat is so satisfying. The whack sound just fits perfectly when the cat dies and stops spinning.
Im still on Monday. Got my paycheck, visited the nice office of someone i don't remember (toilet one), stole RWS's money (harr), got some molotov, rocket launcher (fuck those dogs, nothing can beat fire). Then i decided to go to bank. Then i kicked some barrels on some hill too much and exploded. 11 euros well spent :v:
The hardest difficulties are like a new game in itself, while normally postal is mostly a game about screwing around and causing havoc, on the hardest difficulties fighting gets really challenging while at the same time greatly rewarding you for playing smart. A lot of the stuff that you usually feel is just a fun gimmick becomes really effective if used properly, I keep running into little tricks like these, and it's so satisfying: Kicking nade-mines into enemies saved me more than once, it's faster than normal throwing and you don't risk blowing yourself up if you hit a wall and it bounces back The only problem is that if someone's shooting at you they're likely to blow the grenade in your face as you throw it :v: Also, everyone I ask tells me the shotgun is very powerful and the pistol is only useful the first few days, while I absolutely hate the shotgun and the pistol is my most used weapon. uhu.
The pistol has propably the best aim, next to the hunting rifle, but scoping with that one takes ages.

so, for some reason a disarmed cop followed me into this cutscene :v: I made sure not to kill him in the ensuing boss fight, he earned the right to live
What is the radar for? Also, where do I find the stun gun, axe, bat, machete, glock and sawn off? I'm on thursday and I still didn't find any of em
most of em can be found in the police station armory

I haven't used the upgrade cartridges yet, but I know one of them allows you to kill people remotely.

Lost mine due to my save getting reverted :(

Aside from the one that show who's armed which I don't even remember where I picked it up, the one that shows cops is in the lucky ganesh on a desk next to a computer(?) on the second floor
