Is there any chance we can see a Postal game on a Humble Bundle?? ;)
The ghost town story is just something the government made up, we know what really happened to Paradise.
I can't keep up with everyone else's testing and college keeps getting in the way!
I'm a horrible human being/beta tester. :C
I like that the Postal 2 soundtrack is mostly ambiance.
They used some of the weirdest sounds, and i like it.
I recently watched the postal 2 movie and it's great, I love this scene :

i'm going to get some betatesting done today, couldn't earlier because my computer had something happen to it and i was stuck with the shitty family computer

We'll not bundle P2 for a long time to come sorry, but it will be in most Steam sales going forward.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise,_Arizona
So is this where Postal 2 takes place?
Actually it's based on this town:
It's not all fun and games, for example the task I just set is getting them to go around the entire of paradise on Friday smashing every single door they possibility can to see if we've fixed a bug where it resets the day if you smash too many. If it's been fixed, it means they'll have to smash every single door you can in the game, all while keeping count.
This this sort of task that separates the 'omg i doz beta testin!' people from the hardcore keepers ;)
I could do that. I have a knack for doing extremely tedious things in video games.

Why didn't you put your name forward at the time anyway?
Top tier beta password, too.

He probably was busy literally sucking penises.
[editline]17th January 2014[/editline]
yes
yes this is perfect
I'd totally want to beta test, except im a lazy fucker.
[editline]17th January 2014[/editline]
Well, lazy until someone gives me a reason to use photoshop.
Which i suppose makes it worse.
time to actually save when i get past monday this time
Out of the 30-something people that were supposed to be testing there's only a small group that's actually doing anything at all so, perhaps at a later date the team could be expanded, if there's a necessity

Man I couldn't do anything because my computer done fucked up. I'm going to get to work as soon as postal 2 is done installing..

some of us have stuff to do, and most of the bugs on the tracker are really trivial
[editline]17th January 2014[/editline]
like thats not bad but its harder to find bugs when most of them have been caught
All good it all helps. When all is said and done in a month we'll know who's worth keeping around and who is not, it's early days. I took on 30 only expecting 10 or so to really shine and it's not simply about who reports the most bugs.
Trivial stuff is great, we need to know it, it all adds up when fixed, so glad for those guys.
Some are better suited to finding out complected technical stuff and being able to find out how to reproduce it. Marphy black may not report the most bugs for example, but what he has reported has lead us to hopefully be able to fix one of the most annoying AI problems the game has (NPC's running into walls).
Some are good at somehow breaking the game in ways no one would have thought about though just playing over and over.
Some are great ideas and balance people.
So not all QA testers serve the same purpose.
That's not my point, many people didn't even care enough to make a post in the introduction thread, let alone in the other sections, looks like a pretty clear sign that we'll never hear from them ever again

what am I? :3
Why didn't you put your name forward at the time anyway?
School's going on, and I don't know if beta testing would be interfered by it.
what am I? :3
Token female?
This would be much easier for me to do if I had all my saves but those are on my desktop with the busted PSU, been using my laptop and just ordered a new desktop off newegg. Throwing postal 2 on that sucker as soon as I build it
;_; okay
I'm just kidding, you've been an asset, no sarcasm.

Yeah, all good, it's what I expected. In fact more have stepped up than I thought from it so I'm happy with the yield, so to speak.
Added a fairly trivial bug, also here's something that was probably noticed by a lot of people and I may be retarded and it may be on purpose, but on the "catch gary tuesday only at paradise ultramega mall" billboard, it says "Whatchu lookin at fool? By the damn book !" instead of "Buy the damn book!"
[editline]18th January 2014[/editline]
Also, where did the postal babes come from? Seriously, I wanna know.
Yeah, go for it, anyone following this thread deserves some exclusive news.
Hey guys. Do any of you remember SMOD?

...I'm just gonna leave this here.
Also, where did the postal babes come from? Seriously, I wanna know.
The origin of the Postal Babes is described by Vince Desi, Running With Scissors President and CEO, here:
http://www.gopostal.com/newsletter/05/September/babeorama.php
Essentially, EA tried to arrest Desi at E3, but Desi bribed security with POSTAL 2 and babes.
There's also a story of Vince Desi pissing into a Pringles can while in a moving vehicle and throwing it out the window, but I can't find it right now.

can confirm, says "by the damn book"
When i saw that, i legitimately freaked the fuck out.
[editline]17th January 2014[/editline]
Who made the texture for the billboard?
You should take it out of their paycheck.
I always assumed it was a joke

Me too, it must have been...
