I love the Red Orchestra series, even though RO2 is flawed with way too many technical difficulties, I still find it great. Is is just me, though, or does RO1 feel way more realistic because the level system was removed?
[img_thumb]http://puu.sh/gMANX/41699e08ec.jpg[/img_thumb] Time to brag about stats. B) 400+ hours of RS, vast majority of the time playing as the IJA The balanced asymmetry checks out though, which is cool.
so apparently gore doesn't work anymore? I have full gore on but still no dismemberment.

Apparently you can edit singleplayer maps in the SDK, and still get achievements for completing them. I beat the Soviet Grain Elevator mission by closing all the doors into the first building so nobody could get in. :v: It's dirty, but it beats sitting down for four hours straight hitting "Restart From Checkpoint" 60+ times trying to find the perfect camping spot. That's what I had to do to beat the Station mission.

It's not a big deal or anything but it was great in RO1 when shit was coming down to the wire and everyone around you suddenly starts snapping bayonets into place. Oh, that and I wish they'd kept the scale of RO1, most of the default maps in RO2 make being a sniper almost completely redundant as your average rifleman can see and shoot just as far, especially with the tiny amount of weapon sway you have, even if you've been shot 3 or 4 times in the arms.
I have never seen these kind of glitches before, why are there so many popping up all of a sudden

For example, the lvl 50 kar98k has the sight thing removed. So if you want that, you have to switch to lvl 25. But that means the weapon quality (the wood etc...) looks slightly worse than on the lvl 50. Also a detachable scope on the g41 and mkb42. The way the g41 was made is that you could just slide the scope off since it had some rail thingy on it. Not sure about the mkb42 though. But most importantly, the Americans need a rifle grenade upgrade for the M1 Garand to counter those god damn knee mortars. Also am i the only one or is the scope upgrade for the scoped kar98k at lvl 25 is slightly more inaccurate?
The americans already got a truckload of heavy weapons, not to mention the cap-clearing flamer. The last thing they need is explosives. Also, speaking of which: does nobody know how to use booby traps and satchels? On the rare occasion I play with humans nobody ever places booby traps or blows up objectives, even though it would result in a much quicker victory. Heck a couple of guys were shocked when I blew up the radar on Betio and won the match despite the cap being uncontested.

It's like throwing a satchel initiates a bonzai charge on your team into the satchel explosion where they all refuse to forgive you which leads to all engineers getting kicked.

Which is a shame since it's an easy way to get tons of kills
yeah, almost no one plants booby traps. Which is a shame since it's an easy way to get tons of kills
It's especially funny when you use it to cover your tracks. Had a guy complain about not being able to kill me with his M1A1 at range with two shots (c'mon, it's really just a giant pistol) while I was half-concealed in some bushes on Maggot Hill. He came back with a friend in attempt to catch me unaware/camping the same spot. They both ate a nade.
I still don't know why they haven't added flamethrowers to RO2. Has tripwire abandoned this game now?
I still don't know why they haven't added flamethrowers to RO2. Has tripwire abandoned this game now?
They probably don't want to fix any bugs with tanks that might happen and make it to where they do stuff against tanks
I still don't know why they haven't added flamethrowers to RO2. Has tripwire abandoned this game now?
I think they set focuses on what games to work on at TWI. It feels like there's been cycles between work put into RO2/RS and KF; there was heavy work for the RS launch, then work for KF seasonal events and community weapons, then back to RO2 for the Armored Assault update, and now work on KF2.
They probably don't want to fix any bugs with tanks that might happen and make it to where they do stuff against tanks
Probably the explanation. Right now if you try to use a flamethrower on a tank the game just crashes.
Dibbler made Molotovs work against tanks
Man, I really love sneaking around in this game. I think I'll make a video of some stealth maneuvers sometime.
You know the other team sucks when you get more kills with the sword than artillery just by defending the last bunkers on Iwo Jima
This game is beautiful, well sorta beautiful if you count the screaming of people shot in the stomach.

Fallen Fighters will always be my favorite loading screen because
Always looked like a "come at me brah" to me.
Interesting thing actually. You know how all those guys have their mouths open? Well they were supposed to have face movement ingame as well. Every head and speech file is fully set up and still in the game files, but they didn't enable it for """"performance"""" reasons.
