There's a lot of fishy stuff with what I've been seeing. Also, there's a shitload of twitching and weird repeated animations with the C4

While the standard 40mm grenades were designed with a minimum arming distance to protect the user from self-inflicted injury and death, it was found that this very same mechanism left a soldier carrying an M79 as their primary weapon practically unarmed for short distance engagements, such as when dealing with bunkers, tunnels and close in jungle fighting.
The M576 40mm grenade replaces the stock high explosive grenade, firing a load of buckshot down range instead. Perfect for those close encounters - let’s take a look:

A bit more natural looking... but I still kinda prefer the RO2/RS style where the player does a short animation before ragdolling. Seeing a rifleman clutch his chest where he was shot before slowly crumpling over from a standing position feels a lot more dramatic than how fast and relaxed this new ragdoll system seems.

A mix between the two would be nice. With RO2 there was a lot of clipping and rigidness with the animated deaths, and it kinda took me out in some places

Which makes sense, if you get shot in the head you would flop to the ground instantly, if you get shot in the stomach you'll still be alive for a few seconds.
