They've had this game in production for more than a year. Hiring a person to sit down in a room, speak some Vietnamese, and leave, is not a difficult task.
Oh yeah, it's totally not, why do we even need voice actors or movie actors or anyone? Just get some random person in front of the camera, film them and you're done, easy.
Add to the fact that Vietnamese speaking people may not be available where they are located.

I made an autistic 100+ song playlist of all my favourite songs from the '60s just for you <3 (and also to remember which albums to get)
Before you go "Placeholder"
Listen up you impertinent dick boating reptile. Voice acting is a final step. No feature requires it. This game has half a year till release. The helipad is a giant cube of dirt.
Placeholder.

No, no, don't call it autistic.
It's artistic.
I like how they still speak Japanese apparently :|

Voice acting is usually the last step in development when it comes to games.

movies as well. paul bettany always recorded his jarvis lines within two months of an iron man film's release.
Not to mention that builds for shows like E3 and PAX are always a couple months old.

What kinda pissed me off though was the answer to the question ablut ground vehicles. "People have fun with vehicles in a video game so we're not going to include them".
[editline]10th September 2016[/editline]
But there are helicopters so eh

he said that there were very few tank on tank engagements, and people would be needless dicks with cars - I think it's a p big difference :v:

From what I could tell the person who answered about tanks was a different person. That reasoning makes perfectly fine sense.
But I'm talking about the second person who actually used the "muh immersion" argument because people have fun with jeeps in games.
The person after him had another fine argument, there are already helicopters. But "they are used to jump hills and that ruins my immersion" isnt a very good one tbh
Something like a guntruck or an M113 would be fine for ground vehicles, at least for the US side. Those would both not break MUH IMMERSION because they'd be primarily used for fire support. And they could probably function as mobile spawn points or something.

Again, the Jeep with an M2 would be an okay choice. Driving would make it difficult to shoot while on the move, and the person is still standing behind the gun itself.
I suspected they weren't going to include ground vehicles, although I'm still disappointed about it. Plus even if they did most players would avoid playing on maps with vehicles in favor of mostly infantry only maps like they do in RO2 and I'm afraid that's what's going to happen to the RS2 maps with helicopters.
But the whole "ruining mah immersion" is complete bullshit. Not everybody plays a game to be immersed in it's setting, most people play it for fun.
But on another subject, if they make another Red Orchestra game I hope make it more like RO1 with a larger focus on combined arms(which is for me what made RO1 great) and not just focus almost entirely on one battle.

Or better yet, one of these

They could take the existing code for the half-track and modify it to create one of these
I have been considering putting a post on the Tripwire forums regarding the addition of Psyops type activities that can be done by the Americans. For example, having Huey helicopters playing Wandering Souls or dropping pamphlets from the Phoenix Program to demoralize enemy troops. Another thing which would be awesome is the ability to spike resupply crates.
Another thing is that everything I have been hearing about the map sizes, would seem to indicate that Rising Storm 2 would be perfect for something similar to Project Reality's Insurgency gamemode.
I didn't know that there was a hidden easter egg for Death Stranding in Rising Storm

Of course! You know they love Hideo Kojima, why else would one of the bot's name be Hideo?
What map is that? It's clearly custom.

Just the fact that the guy was named Donald Trump makes it even funnier.
can't even stump him in the jungle.
I wish the bots were smarter and I could play COOP with my friend with just us two and the rest full to the brim with bots
that would be like battlefront 2 WWII edition

Rising Storm 2? They are looking for fans of the series and people with tight lips to come help out.
Edit:
Sent out a message to invite about four people, if you guys who I already sent messages to can get in, hopefully you'll be able to find any of your buddies with lots of hours in RO2 and invite them as well.

I sent you a PM but my sent list is empty so I'm not sure if it went through.

oh. well, then, sign me up.
Righto, that's about as many people needed for now. If anyone manages to get in, and you know someone with 50+ to 100+ hours feel free to ask them if they'd like to get in. As far as I'm aware of, they want really active folks to come in and help out.
