Was playing VC on Hill 937, and I decided to go AA gunner for the initial phase. Hopped on Delta's DShK and started gunning down the cobra pilot on the other team. After getting a rather amusing kill on him where he crash-landed near and ran at me before I blew him away, the guy began to votekick me.
The reason? I was apparently hacking.
What's even funnier was that after two failed votekick attempts and me and some other dudes explaining that the DShK is more than capable of shooting down helis, he finally kills me with a strafing run -- then, just as I respawn, I'm finally kicked.
Wasn't even mad. :saxout:
Fuck me the coolest thing is getting your whole squad dropped off from a Huey and being under fire when you hit the ground.
Yeah I die a lot when that happens but it's so [I]cool[/I]
If people thinks it's cool to get shot and die, the game has done a good job

We lost one and "won" one, but I assumed that if you lose more objectives that's the first factor in the tie-breaker. But its instead based solely on total team score? So because we dragged the fight on longer despite losing more territory we won anyways? That's kind of weird.
They really need to fix that damn victory screen so it makes sense to anyone.
We managed to completely shut down the Hueys on Valley. The bug where the RPG kill is awarded to the pilot as a TK is still active. No one wanted to fly because they knew they'd be walking into a +60 respawn timer. Sucks tho, I lost 4 full birds worth of double honor :v:
I would like it if we are some how able to reposition the DShk, I don't mind if it took forever to dismantle, or how it would slow your character speed. I forgot the name of the map, the one with the long ass rope bridge. The gun barely has sights of the sky because of the dense trees, I've seen cobra/loach pilots just destroy the gunners everytime because they know where the gun is and just strafe or spam guns through the trees and I can't shoot back either because I get killed from the intial run through the trees or I literally can't see where they're shooting from. I've tried camping nearby waiting for their first strafe to go by then quickly hoping on the gun, but that barely does a thing since they're gonna be long gone by then. If they were to even get a whiff of someone on the gun, they'd just go behind tree cover AGAIN and light up the position with guns. It's insane how good some pilots, so many times I'm like "aww shit, I hear some helis in the distance" and I train my gun in that direction then suddenly my whole spot just gets lit up equal to a spooky gunship.
I wish they would add the Strela because I think helicopters need a better counter than just RPGs and DShks.

Streamable is kinda dumb since it won't give you the video source url by default but you can still find it if you inspect the page elements.

Any tips for the DHSK? I can't hit shit with it, even if I just aim by using the tracers

The first one unlocks at 60, so if I've played 15 hours and am level 21, it'd take around 40 hours of gameplay, assuming the experience required to get to some of those higher levels doesn't spike super high.
Oh, and that's on the double XP week, too.

I wonder what's wrong with the M16. It's like the character puts the stock to the middle of his chest just because he's following a moving target. Last time I held a rifle, that did not happen. The sway is weird

I can't remember which has faster Aim Down Sights speed, but stocks change the speed at which your aim comes up IIRC. It also changes how much you zoom in, thus giving you greater perception of your surroundings.
And yeah, peephole sights like what is on the M16 do cut off what you can see. It's why I prefer the AKM's sights the most out of all of them.
Why does it seem like half the Vietnamese squad leaders don't know how to place tunnels?
Kind of makes me sad that you can have an entire round of dominating the enemy team but lose overall because of of some magical score system. We just played a map and had most of the flags the entire game and had the LZ's locked down so any huey's attempting to land just got ambushed but we lost overall because they did better in the previous round :C

Ontop of what clark said, having the stock folded makes it so that you can bring the gun closer to you before you put it down when aiming against a wall, both in ironsights and from the hip. Easier to stay sighted in in cramped spaces.

I've often gotten 60m+ headshots with buckshot, even with the sawn off variant. Shotguns are incredible in RS2.

By incredible I mean actually somewhat realistic compared to their usual portrayal in games.
So, I just witnessed my helmet saving me from a bullet going through a thin metal sheet just now. I'm actually amazed. Sadly shadowplay wasn't working so I couldn't get video proof, but oh well.

Whenever it's me it's because I'm looking for a good spot and then I get killed before I find it, and I don't think it's worth the effort to put one down 40m from spawn while I go look for a real location.
