I just played Compound Skirmish on Territories for the first time today. I used to think Chu Chi and Hue City were tied for being one of the worst maps, but this honestly just completely takes the cake. It's so fucking awful and ridiculously unbalanced with 60 players. It fails to be fun for either attackers or defenders because the first VC spawn just turns into a involuntary spawn camp massacre for the attackers and it'd take a miracle just to break out of your spawn as VC. We never even played past A because the massacres and the grenades was just so devastating. I can honestly see why I never see it getting voted for(in the /K/ servers atleast). Did the devs even playest this on 60 players? jesus [editline]2nd June 2017[/editline] Even Firebase, which is like one of the smaller maps we have so far, is better than it, which is pathetic since Compound looks fairly big and you'll probably only progress thru the top left of the map or whatever.
It shouldn't be in the rotation for a 64 player server, server owners are just retards.

Using the double barrel on D in CuChi I killed maybe 12 americans charging the point under smoke. Eventually my character started laughing.

I wonder if the server is purposely misreporting its population. TF2 servers used to.
I don't think it reports spectators in the count. It used to in RS1/RO2 but dont think it currently is anymore.
Tokarev TT is superior to M1911. Extra round, and I personally hate the 1911 sight picture in the game; I just can't use it well. That and 7.62×25mm Tokarev is a pretty robust little cartridge, but I don't know if that is ballistically represented in the game.

I realized this when I checked my friends game through Steam's "view server info" feature. This sever was something like 52/64 on the browser, but 72/64 on Steam's server info view.

I was wondering this as well, it's a shitty thing to do and I don't see how it'll get more people on your server because they'll just leave.

The server browser playercount, however, seems to be updated only when the player has fully loaded in
I've played RS2 so much, that I keep hearing gunfire and helicopters even when the game's not on. Haven't started checking for tunnels at least.

Toe popper is legit have to step on it in my experience. I tried to daisy chain the Hue sewers and had a full squad edge past them to my surprise.

Just mine the building across the street from B because everyone goes there, camp in that general area, and you rack up the kills. The PPSh is pretty useable on larger maps too if you're sneaky. If you catch a group off guard and have the drum mag all you have to do is spray in their general direction.
Having heard Vietnamese people speaking, with the northern accent specifically, the voice acting isn't [i]too[/i] far off. Poorly performed but the accent is there
