Any tips about how to not suck with the M60? I swear, it's the one gun so far that I just can't get the hang of. Maybe I just fail to get into the right mindset for it.

Machineguns are powerful and accurate, with good positioning they can decimate enemies

From shooting people 5+ times and them not seeming to care to having my shots be wildly inaccurate even in a proper position firing in proper bursts to the bipod being absolutely retarded and not allowing me to move side to side and locking me into a 5 degree field of fire.
Amazing: [t]http://i.imgur.com/HzvVyFV.png[/t]

Is the mosin nagant sniper shooting too low for any of you guys? For some reason after the update, it just sucks. Especially when I tried sniping from the water tower. Maybe it's a bug?
There is a known hitreg issue that the devs are working on right now, maybe it's that?
I don't think it's hitreg on characters, as I see the dirt puffs hit waaay below the 100m zeroing at distances less than 50m without trying to shoot at someone. Maybe it has something to do with the "aim model" and where the game thinks the bullet should go.
I think you guys will appreciate this: [t]https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/852718778178373700/1315AA2D8C74EBB14689E450F6FB0CC429A509B8/[/t] RPG is hilariously fun. Also managed to shoot down 2 moving helicopters at 100+ meters with the M79 and smoked on the Loach with it, too. Infuriating, but the opportunity to go for the achievements was handed to me so I just had to try... and I am so glad I did. I was honestly laughing hard along with the rest of the team every time I shot down a helicopter.
And voila! Initial release is ready!
Will there be any suppressed weapons? I miss being able to plink at people with the suppressed nagant in RO2.
The CAR-15 is already added, and the CAR-15/XM148. Stoner 63, and Model 27 are currently just placeholders. Suppressed weapons would be neat, but what kind of suppressed weapons did they carry that are already ingame? I can't make anything that's too different from existing models.

Maybe I just fail to get into the right mindset for it.
I find the problem with running the M60 is that at the ranges we're engaging at (usually less than 200M and most often less than 100) and the fact that the weapons have very little weapon sway when aiming down the sights, even when deployed with your bipod you gain no real advantage over old mate running around with an AK or PPSH and as soon as you start firing you draw so much attention that you're dead within moments anyhow, especially with the amount of iron sight zoom you get with a standard rifle.

Why isn't the RPG class given the option of a sub machine gun?
Why isn't the RPG class given the option of a sub machine gun?
Why would they need it. They get the double barrel which is the best gun in the game(FACT).
Why isn't the RPG class given the option of a sub machine gun?
Would be a bit OP, even if you just gave him the shitty MAT-49.

Flak Vests for ARVN: Yes / No? [t]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/225363257282527232/327653140021248001/12.jpg[/t] I've had people say it looks kinda weird, especially with all the gear. I don't really see it though, especially since it's the same as the stock US vest.
Apparently the SVD has an illuminated scope. Theres a key binding for toggling it on but it doesnt function. You can however force it on via console with ToggleIllumination but it only works on the firing range.
headshots are so satisfying
Feel like this is a pretty good vertical slice of different aspects of RS2. [vid]https://u.nya.is/khjrgh.webm[/vid] Whichever of those are good or bad aspects, I'll leave it up to the viewer.
I apologize about the poor quality, I captured it via steam [t]http://i.imgur.com/WGTDJVA.jpg[/t] I got spooked and scrambled for a screenshot after being loaded full of lead.
There's a couple pictures of tunnel rats with suppressed revolvers, .38s I think.
You can't suppress a revolver unless it's the Nagant revolver. Otherwise the gap in the cylinder all the gas escapes from when firing and it makes a loud noise.
You can't suppress a revolver unless it's the Nagant revolver. Otherwise the gap in the cylinder all the gas escapes from when firing and it makes a loud noise.
Iirc there are at least a couple other suppressed revolvers out there, but im not sure
You can't suppress a revolver unless it's the Nagant revolver. It was a suppressed gas seal revolver made specifically for the tunnel rats. There's plenty of pics of tunnel rats with em.

Not exactly sure what the deal with these are, pretty sure they're S&W 38s. From what I've read they were modified in such a way that they were closely fitted to eliminate the cylinder gap. That being said, the VCs supposedly did make limited use of the suppressed nagant revolver as well.
