I miss my dude going incoming arty when i blooped a dude :(
My favourite is this though: *friend gets blown up by RPG/bayoneted/sniped in the face/obliterated by artillery* GI: *rather casually* "fucking VC"
i remember one time when i was running past the commander when he was dropping arty and he teamkilled someone so my GI was like "hey dumbshit you're shooting at friendlies"
Anyone else think Hill needs rebalanced a bit? I don't have fun as Americans on that map, and the fact that they increased the tickets and the map still usually ends with American ticket loss shows that it's not very attacker friendly. I love Hill. Its the ultimate "sit on the flanks and farm tunnel visioned lemmings" map for both sides.
It is done.
Epic Boating Adventures, coming soon to a Rising Storm 2 near you! [t]http://puu.sh/wvhoy/65e5a49892.jpg[/t] EDIT: I just realized I forgot the tires, fixed [t]https://puu.sh/wvidX/11451044bc.jpg[/t]
I think I'll really enjoy being headshotted every single time I get in that thing because I'll big slow moving target. [editline]27th June 2017[/editline] It's gonna be BFBC2: Vietnam all over again. [editline]27th June 2017[/editline] Not to say it doesn't look really good though, great job.
First time flying the Cobra in a public server, and I accidentally team kill two players. Banned for 1 day by a admin. Great community servers :chillout:
I love Hill. Did they nerf the RPG? Because I've noticed recently that shooting next to people doesn't cut it anymore when it comes to penetration. nvm i'm just getting a bit unlucky with my shots.
Do your bullets magically turn into puffs of air when you are suppressed? I swear I shot a guy 3-4 times center mass with an SKS while suppressed at not even 10 meters away and he didn't die, but he killed me right away

However I think what happened to you is the classic annoying rs2 netcode of server registered his kill first, so only his happened as far as the game is concerned, despite you clearly seeing yourself shoot the cunt.

So, the Vietnam got released right before I left for vacation. After two weeks what is the general consensus of the game? Looks pretty neat. Is it worth it? What are the biggest gripes and strengths.

Honestly having played them all it's the most fun I've ever had in a "Red Orchestra" game.
It's nice and all but I don't know if there's any water deep enough on any maps for boats.
This boat only had a two foot draft, so it can operate comfortably in waist deep water like you have on An Lao. Obviously it'll be accompanying new maps with deeper water, but it'll certainly be comfortable working right along the shoreline, and might even work as a mix of gunboat and transport in game. The brown water navy in the Vietnam War was pretty insane, they ranged from tiny rowboats for Navy SEALs to what basically amounted to river battleships, and basically any gun in Vietnam was mounted on a boat sooner or later. Among my favorites is the Zippo, which was basically a barge with a flamethrower APC stuck on it, before they decided to build multiple flamethrower turrets into the hull. You can read about most of them here: http://www.warboats.org/vietnamboats.htm [editline]27th June 2017[/editline]
So, the Vietnam got released right before I left for vacation. Its lacking in maps, but its priced extremely well, and its very reasonable to expect a mix of free DLC and official implementation of community maps.
I want more ptsd
It's clearly lacking maps, but that is slowly getting fixed with community ones appart from that, yeah, it's worth it
a while ago i played a beta community map, i think it was related to cambodia or something pretty fun map, lots of foliage and hills, although some hills were too steep imo

yeh i think that was it. the creator of the map was playing with us too. he got some pretty good feedback iirc
Good example of how to recover from a lost rotor blade. [vid]https://u.nya.is/glshuy.webm[/vid] All done with the advanced flight model.
It is done.
No Marky Mark or Mark Wahlberg with the squad name "The Funky Bunch" Pfft
with everyone running around half nude and borderline impossible to ID, I found out that the most reliable way to figure out whether the person is going to shoot you in the face or teamkill you in the face is to look if they have flip flops all the maps definitely need a lot of rework and rebalancing. Always feels like if you're attacking there's simply not enough tickets or time to do any sort of an attack. Sometimes you have genuinely outstanding commanders and a bunch of great squads and it's still a challenge to push.
The respawn timer is an incredibly accurate countdown for the death of your squad leader playing on US.

I've done the same in the cobra. You just need to get altitude and hurl yourself in a direction. Has anyone recovered from having the tail physically come off? Also, can you auto-rotate effectively if you lose engine power? Also, has anyone suffered a complete loss of engine power before?
It amazes me how people don't use their brains in determining if someone is friendly or enemy. Sure it can be sometimes hard to tell if some shirtless guy is VC or John Rambo but would a teammate really be sitting behind your teams side of cover, aiming towards the enemies front line?

Also, most servers have that marker thing so all friendlies get the blue or green dot anyway.
