It's the announcer audio - which players on the enemy team cannot hear

Hah. I've had that happen to me on the Hue City sewer ladder. I tried to land in the hole thinking the water would break the fall but nope, clipped the opening and died.

Because i never really saw it, and this seems to be the free play map modified to quickly cap objectives fast, while not letting the game end. TBH it makes the luster of the end level cosmetics fade away as they become common because people are just using quick exp servers. Oh well, I guess it'll be just like the alpha.
There were bot servers in the original games that gave XP for killing the bots. The strat for RS was for people to switch maps to Peleliu, go machine gunner on IJA side and snipe bots endlessly as they tried to cap. For RO2 there was a gamemode called stopwatch or something that was easily abusable for xp.

For RS1 there was a gamemode called stopwatch or something that was easily abusable for xp.[/QUOTE] Well for that I was ok with, as you still needed to be active in playing the game by shooting bots, and sometimes the bots would grow a hacker's brain and snipe you from a large distance, thus keeping you on your toes. This map is just sit there for 5 minutes and now you're max level.
Hill 937 has too many invisible walls and draw distance bugs. I hate constantly shooting long range and not killing players that hide behind invisible rocks.
After 20 hours I can safely say that this game is pretty great. I really like how it plays, especially the shooting is so satisfying. Only thing that bugs me is that sometimes when you are prone next to a wall or a rock, your shots get blocked at times and it makes things a bit awkward. Also more maps would be nice, those that are present are really solid though. I really like HueCity and Chi.

Getting shot while throwing a grenade, and wiping out your whole squad with it. Yoshiro or whatever your name is, is this something you guys are working with? Or are you focusing on the war spectrum were there's consequences?

Why don't dead nades get credited to the person who shot the guy holding it?
I feel like it's a double edged sword. You give the guy who killed someone with a grenade the credit and there will be a time someone gets punished because they shot a guy that had a grenade in his hand that ends up killing teammates, or you keep it like it is now where the guy throwing the grenade gets punished for dying with it in their hands. Sticky situation, really.

When you're a sniper on Hill and accidentally shoot your squad member, and leave with shame.
There I was, Hill 937, top score. Protecting our rice fields with my trustworthy SKS. Killed yankies all over the place, and suddenly, a half-naked man appeared. Was he a friendly? Or was he an enemy? I don't know. As he stood there with his bare chest and american looking farm hat, we aimed at each other, for at least 7 seconds. Who shoots first? Should we take the risk to either kill ourselves or die by an unknown enemy? I made the hard choice and squeezed the trigger. A childish scream was heard, and it was my friend. But no more, as I left with shame. Our rice fields are covered in brotherly blood.
I feel like the community is really hostile most of the time, people absolutely bashing each other for teamkills or being overly negative pricks when somebody doesn't perform as well as a commander or squadleader. I saw some pretty rude stuff most of the time, I don't feel much offended but I noticed it quite a bit. Wish the community was more cheerful.
Feels the exact opposite on NA. Everyone is laid back as hell and having fun. You get the occasional idiot on the mic but I don't think I've experienced people berating each other over performance. If a commander is being useless/poor we just vote em off the role.
