You can tell steam which games belong on which drives so as long as it holds Rising Storm you're fine.
How dead are RO2 and Rising Storm? I never got a chance to really get into them back in the day.
RO 2 has like 10 maxed out servers
Anyone else can't even start the game? It simply crashed at startup after the intro videos. I tried reinstalling but it didn't work

delete your config files in the Documents folder, just to make sure
If you didn't play RS1 you should definitely try it out. Easily one of the best asymmetrical team games I've ever played.
I was really surprised when I heard the head dev say he didn't like the way it was designed back when RS2's beta was going on.
This new map update is looking real good. Those QoL changes are gonna be great additions. And dusk Hue supremacy looks interesting.

more performance tweaks
new versions of Hue(Supremacy), AnLao(TE), and Song(TE). The new maps also have new daytimes. Hue is dusk, not sure about the others
New icon letting you know if your barrel is being blocked by cover
AKs got a 25% recoil reduction
Mosin and SVD got a big sway reduction
PPSH got it's drum mag capacity nerfed
Footsteps are louder
New HUD indicator or someshit for napalm. Supposed to help with not getting killed by invis napalm
You can rotate claymores when placing em
Only VC being spawned by the commander can hear the shhh attack on my mark now
And this isn't even 1.02 which is coming in a few weeks.

Oh, I was confused about this changelog. I thought that changelog was for the upcoming patch and they just released the new map versions with this update.
That's what they did. Right now only the maps have been released, the actual game fixes are later.

The AK buff is pretty weird, didn't feel like it needed it.
Even the AKS felt fine

RS1 was the bomb back in its day but imo it hasn't held up well at all

The recoil is pretty wild on the AK but it boasts a larger magazine size than the M16 and is far more deadly. I did not expect them to reduce the recoil.
Anyone else have a bug where the C4 animation doesn't change to the detonator after throwing? If you try to throw the magical second brick you blow yourself up.
Also, sometimes I'll throw it and it just doesn't exist after the fact.

I've never played Red Orchestra so I realize it's probably out of the games scope, but I think Medics and land vehicles would be really cool in RS2.

The one map where I think a tank would be useful is Hue City, defiantly when dealing with the wall because it's way too easy to defend unless the U.S team has good people, would also give the VC a serious reason to have a RPG on that map.
the wall is the hardest enemy in the game

Medics wouldn't fit as this game isn't really focused on sim-like elements. The game isn't about sitting on corpses until they spring back to life it's about being in a meatgrinder.

Land vehicles used to be a part of Red Orchestra 1 and 2, but not Rising Storm 1. M113 ACAVs and maybe a M48 Patton would be pretty cool to have in the game.

My reasoning for Medic is that even Battlefield 2 had Medics. Maybe I'm nostalgic for that play style but I liked when each squad could feature their own MG, AT, Medic, Sniper, etc. Maybe the maps aren't big enough for that.

Joe modded the existing models into the game into being usable already.
