I feel supremacy can be done right if handled properly. There's no feeling of a tug of war, nor any significant gain for taking positions other than linking for points. If they're going to do supremacy, they should make sure that the map is far bigger than others and has a wider variety of points to capture.
Territories does this well, but suffers from the usual attack/defense exhaustion, and doesn't feel as asymmetric.
i like supremacy because i like transport helicopters

There is one bloke called Lieutenant Dan, he basically only flies around in helicopters all day. I've played quite a bit over the past weeks and I always saw him flying around in a transport heli.
He's a great buddy.

You need a good team and a good team to face in order to actually have long drawn out tug of wars.
Otherwise the shit team just camps at C/D all match and it's over in 10 minutes.

Does he have any legs?

I don't know, considering that I never saw him leave the helicopter.
Choppers are the best.
Supremacy guarantees constant use of choppers.
Therefore, Supremacy is the best.
If you disagree, you are wrong.

I like seeing choppers fly around, and I also like to fly them, but spawning in the back of a transport chopper in maps with almost no LZ's is basically the same as spawning in a coffin and giving the VC a shovel.
I have to say flying the transport helicopters is one of the most thankless tasks in RS2, you either catch a 1 in a million RPG/.51 caliber round and get bitched out by your passengers, or the enemy shuts down all the viable LZ's and you get bitched out regardless.
It's also one of the most important roles to be skilled at.
An idiot can operate the loach and still be effective because all you really have to do is fly over things.
An idiot can operate the cobra and at worst, be an ineffective artillery strike or hit friendlies.
If an idiot operates a huey, it traps a whole squad in the air until they crash, which could also take half the round time.
As a good pilot, I should be flying hueys, but being able to wipe out half the enemy team in a pass of the cobra is much more enticing despite having less of an impact on the game overall.
What if the kill feed filled up with "<Pilot> TRANSPORTED <Guy>" for everyone who jumps out? It'd be the same celebration of success you have when you fire a pair of rockets into two huts and kill 8 people, and everyone sees it, and thus knows you're capable of landing alive. A kill is just as important as a spawn.
I think just a big score boost for transport pilots is needed.

Get more points for spawning a dude in a helo than killing
Something that happened to me the other day was one of my landmines killed four people. Good mines.
Best mine kill I got is via the grenade launcher. I killed a VC guy who planted one, his mine exploded and caused another guy's mine to go off and killed him too. I got an achievement for it but I don't remember what it was called. "Daisy chain" or "Bouncing Betty" I dunno.

I got my achievement the same way. Some dude set up all 5 toe poppers in the trenches in front of B on Hill. I shot my smokes then started randomly laying down HE to keep the defenders hunkered while my squad pushed. Hit a toe popper and daisy chained the rest and got 4 kills :v:

Oh nice, maybe SergeantJoe will submit something?

He should enter with that boat mod of his.
Or his MACV mod, that'd be pretty cool to see supported in the game properly

I was playing as US on Cu Chi, I was standing on the lip of a trench and I fired my M16 down through a VC blokes head, the bullet came out the other side and hit a landmine and killed me.

Should give em like +3 for spawning. It'd prolly incentivize pilots to stay in an LZ that's clear. You rarely see pilots do it but when they do its fantastic. Instead of touching down, unloading, and taking off again, just stay on the ground and be a stationary spawn point.
Then balance it out for VC/NVA by giving em like +5 for killing a transport pilot.
I don't believe this, they added the 1917 revolver I had planned to model for Sgt Joe. Oh well, that saves him some work. I'm surprised they made a suppressed sniper for US though.
Been playing on Bloodbath, and so far one of the best maps I have played has to be JungleRaid68.
Seriously, you go from fighting in the jungle, to rice paddies, back to cliffy jungle, and then right too a fucking airfield. Shit is cash as hell.
I downloaded a huuuge patch. Anyone knows what it is?
