This combined with having to replace two of my fans as an emergency kind of put a massive damper in my planned purchase of the game. I'll probably check it back out when all DLC are out for it.

Ending theory stuff. [sp]After losing Piers in RE6 I can see Chris leaving the BSAA, and I can see the Umbrella Corps basically serving as one of the many mercenary groups that rose in the aftermath of B.O.W.s. Umbrella Corps the game implied the world is filled with corporations and groups hiring people for this sort of thing, and if Chris is part of or potentially the head of one, he's probably heading his own measures against outbreaks.[/sp]

The sequels get really bad, really fast. The third one was literally Mad Max 2 with zombies and they acknowledge that in the commentary track.

I'm really enjoying my time with RE7 and I generally cannot get into horror games because I'm a huge baby and get scared easily. However, I'm genuinely impressed the game doesn't make use of any cheap jumpscares or loud audio queues. The atmosphere sets the tone really well and although I'm not "terrified" I am constantly uneasy as I tiptoe around the environment for the next sighting of the Baker family. It's odd because despite wanting to take a break from it every so often I find myself pushing through because it's so god damn addicting. I can't wait to finish it and write a lengthy Steam review about it. Oh and have a meme. I have mad respect for the devs at Capcom, sometimes they move in odd creative directions but talent is one thing they don't lack.

Is there not any way to unload a weapon in RE7? Right now I've got a fully-loaded [sp]G17[/sp] I don't plan on using any longer and I can't find a way to just totally unload it for use with the [sp]M19[/sp].

Why does the best looking, most photorealistic game I've ever played also have to be the grossest and nastiest? Like, it's so nice I wanna show it off, but I'd end up saying:"Oh my god, look at how squishy that gooey flesh pile looks!"

This game is great and I'm such a pussy I'm going to get my moneys worth seeing as it takes me 5 minutes to walk down a corridor.

I hated everything about RE6. Its bad story, bad writing, bad voice acting, boring gameplay, frustrating parts, laughably bad cutscenes, etc. However I do love horror games like Amnesia and Alien Isolation. Do you guys think I will enjoy RE7?
