So what you're saying is Ethan is the real Sherry Birkin and Clancy is the real Claire Redfield after sex changes and the ones in Revelations and RE6 are actually c-virus clone impostor demons?
[sp]considering re7 takes place in 2017 and re1 is in 1998, ethan would have been too young at the time to be on a list of researchers.[/sp]
[sp]Ethan's age is unconfirmed.
And Birkin started working for Umbrella when he was around 16. Umbrella hires young.[/sp]
[sp]I'm surprised at how many people chose to cure Zoe. Ya she's neat, but all she does is just tell you where to go on the phone. Mia is your damn wife and it's obvious she's not in control of herself throughout the game lol[/sp]
[sp]Regardless of who Ethan is, Mia was literally working for a bioterrorist organization. She doesn't deserve to be saved.[/sp]
My money is on Bruce Mcgiveashit.
[sp] actually im thinking Steve whatever his face is, though he died in code veronica, Wesker did say he'd bring him back to life and the whole HCF recovery thing, was only 17 iirc too. [/sp]
That would legitimately ruin RE7 for me.

[sp]I wouldn't say that makes her evil. She seems to be more of a merc than an extremist. It still makes no sense why Ethan would ditch her that easily.[/sp]

[sp]Plus, we don't know that she does that kind of work 'til after we have to choose.[/sp]
[sp]It bothers me to see people throwing Mia under the bus because 'only horrible people work for bioweapons groups'. You know, despite the fact that Ada has been doing that since RE2 and no one wants to throw her under the bus besides a confused Chris over the Carla clusterfuck, plus she and Mia genuinely try to save lives and not fuck shit up on purpose.[/sp]

Yeah but [sp]Ada's a sexy asian lady who wants Leon's dick[/sp]

When will they finally hook up? Leon has the patience of a saint for holding out as long as he has.

[sp]she's not a merc. she's evie's handler specifically. one who has imprinted on her. she technically is to be sold alongside the 'bioweapon', it's a package deal. she probably has weapons training but she's not a merc. she's so skinny.[/sp]

[sp]I kinda skimmed over some of the documents in the game so I may be wrong, but isn't she a handler just for the transport and maybe a bit beforehand? I was thinking that once they got to their buyer they'd transfer Eveline to new handlers.[/sp]
[editline]1st February 2017[/editline]
[sp]I guess I meant merc in the sense that she's there as muscle, transport, and protection. She's not making any decisions for her organization and it's just a job to her.[/sp]

[sp]yeah maybe. i mean mia was expecting to come home to ethan eventually but in my mind that would be once the weapon is used and then terminated, i don't think they were supposed to have a long life? but transferring to a new handler is a possibility sure.[/sp]

Fallout 4 syndrome. The character cares about his wife but that might not always translate over to the player.
I [sp]chose her[/sp] because she seemed the most likely to explain stuff.
i dont see how thats likely since she knows a lot less than mia
[editline]2nd February 2017[/editline]
i would trust mia to know more why mia is there than someone else
[sp] I chose Zoe because short haired girls are cute [/sp]
[sp] I chose Zoe because short haired girls are cute [/sp]
too bad she was just a bit [sp]moldy[/sp]
But the only thing Mia knows is "I'll explain everything later" and equivalents.
So quick question about the demo and the full version:
[sp]I remember everyone making a big fuss over the demo featuring mannequins that moved and some puzzle that involved a celluloid hand and a mannequin's finger, finding a valve to pull a gun out of the bloody toilet, etc. I played through the entirety of the full game and I saw neither of these things. Was that just something whipped up for the demo?[/sp]

The demo is like P.T., none of that shit was going to be in the full game.

The doll finger and hand do appear in the final game, [sp]but mostly as one-off puzzle items in Lucas' puzzle. The valve in the same puzzle, and the gun being a broken one in the final game that can be found and repaired as soon as you leave the main house.[/sp] The final game just didn't do any of the kind of shit the demo did in terms of strange and overly-elaborate puzzles.
End game spoilers
[sp]I feel pretty bad for jack after that flashback, I taunted him and he seemed like such a nice guy :( [/sp]

[sp]Lot of respect for the voice actor for jack doing a really good job in that scene.[/sp]
And just finished the game. damm that was really nice. it had the perfect mix between action and horror. the only thing i dont get is [sp]What happened to lucas?[/sp]. I Though there was going to be an elaborate boss fight with him but all we got is a puzzle

[sp]he escaped. He wasn't ever under the control of the mold, but had all the powers it granted. He's loose on the world.[/sp]
[sp]When does the flashback where Jack asks you to free his family happen? Like, chronologically? Confused as to where it fits in [/sp]
Also, I just finished my second playthrough last night, fucking amazing game. Totally blew my expectations away.
[sp]I chose Zoe the first time because short haired girls are cute[/sp]

It's not a flashback.
It's not a flashback.
Now I'm even more confused
Now I'm even more confused
[sp]their consciences were still part of the mold, it's like the Borg hive mind. they were talking to Ethan through the mold he was hooked up to[/sp]
wait a minute
I thought Lucas was the [sp]mold boss where you shoot the eyes out?[/sp]

You mean the [sp]huge thing right before you leave the house? That was Jack, he even talks the whole time through.[/sp]
