Just finished the game cause it was released early over here. The only thing I dislike is how the game (huge spoilers about everything) [sp]turns way too action-focused near the end. I loved the entirety of the game that was about the Bakers and their house, but everything after you take the boat felt a little too actiony.[/sp]

Can you unlock the game early if you use a VPN?
Can you unlock the game early if you use a VPN?
worldwide simultaneous release on steam, so no
Having only played 4 and 5, will 7 be closer to 4 than 5?
It's not really gonna be close to either of them.
Having only played 4 and 5, will 7 be closer to 4 than 5?
Looks closer to 1.
Having only played 4 and 5, will 7 be closer to 4 than 5?
Closer to 1, 2 and 3 more than the rest.
Well then I guess people get their wish with not wanting this to be another Outlast game.
Good, Outlast fucking drags on like crazy in the second half of the game and then ends really, really weak.
So just like every Resident Evil game ever.
A little more over the top imo.
Hoo boy finally real man's game for my PS VR Glad that I grabbed PS VR bundled with camera for $480 before RE7 tsunami came. Now it'll cost a fotune Relive this memory
The VR for this game is kinda bad though. You don't have separate head tracking like other VR games so it's just like plastering the first person perspective on the screen at all times that can be controlled with head movements.
How is this website, I've thought about using it before, is it shady at all? That 30$ price tag is super tempting
I preordered the game from there and it said the region was Worldwide. Just a few days ago, I went to check on it and it changed to EU-only. I went on their Facebook and people were complaining about the region lock change and not being told about it. The next day, those comments were deleted. I asked for a refund and they gave me one. Speaking of region locks, can you still activate a region-locked key on Steam or does it prevent you from activating it? I just activated a RE7 key and I don't know if it's region-locked or not.
How is this website, I've thought about using it before, is it shady at all? That 30$ price tag is super tempting
any key website is going to be a little shady. they often buy their keys from a source that gets them illegitimately. but for the most part they are fine, in fact i was gonna get a copy from a cdkey website because the price tag is a bit too much on steam.

The fuck is this....Why does it take up extra space to extract the game? I had to make 10 gigs of free space just to start extracting. And You can only extract on one device at a time so I can't extract it on my GPD WIN and PC at the same time -.-
-pic- see u all on the other side
I dont even have any time remaining
Oh... no ultrawide support even though it's a selectable option in the menu?
Oh... no ultrawide support even though it's a selectable option in the menu?
Twas a problem in the demo, too. Hopefully they hotfix the shit out of that.

It extracts the files and then the packaged files get deleted.

Haven't beat Beginning Hour since it was released, what do you get for the full game if you get the good ending? I heard you unlock a special item.
Haven't beat Beginning Hour since it was released, what do you get for the full game if you get the good ending? I heard you unlock a special item.
The only thing that transfers is the dirty coin, which is different than the true ending.
I've gotten a great first impression from the hour and a half i've played so far. It's not one of those 'run away and hide till they stop searching' type of survival horrors. If you play smart you have a decent chance of killing certain opponents unscathed, but it requires effort. You can't shoot your way through at all, avoiding certain enemies is the smart thing to do. I just like being able to stand a chance against foes, unlike SOMA or Amnesia. Very different game, much more similar to the fight or flight nature of the original Resident Evil's. Graphics are great in my opinion, environments have great detail. Dialogue is pretty ok. Something kinda nice is the game isn't overbearingly scary. I don't feel hopeless, I am constantly thinking "How can I get past X situation? How can I prepare with what resources I have?"
The graphics look great but there's something off about the game that I can't put my finger on. Something is throwing me off when I play (not graphics) but like aesthetics.
I really want to play RE7, but I can't run around spending money liberally like I did last year. Damn it, any sites besides G2A that has good, legit deals that aren't region locked keys?
played till i got to the yard the game is pretty good so far. got burned out a lil because i got stuck on a section of the game but its good.

I tried the demo, and it was like normal sitting VR with head tracking.
see u all on the other side
holy fuck 19gb, i was hoping to download it when i get paid and be ready to play at bed time.
The vr with the default settings made me dizzy. Turing off all those "comfort" settings made the mode far much comfortable ironically. Some things are changed like enemies can't grab you for a quick time event, falling down/climbing blacks the screen(I don't know how to disable it since it really annoying)
2gb left to go, then im gonna haul my pc into my bed room and play it while my gf tries to sleep with the volume cranked up high.
