Here's the first level of Facewound, I'm terrible at this type of games :v:

Holy shit, I remember that exact build of facewound from donkeys ago. Didn't it also have a semi-broken level editor with it as well?

Those fucking poop birds I swear
If anyone is interested in a quick preview of the everything included in the prototypes, I'd be happy to take some screenshots.
That's honestly what I'm curious about. I remember way back when stumbling down to the bottom of the forum homepage and into it's subforum and trying it out.
It's exactly the same version we had before. The source code is included and I can't remember if that's new or not.
Is Space Usurper that game Space Cunts or is it something else?
No, it's something completely different. It's a bullet hell shooter where the bosses are dynamically destructible. I'm honestly surprised nobody created a video of all the prototypes yet. That's allowed, right?

I'm specially interested in Arcade but it seems the game is causing troubles.

Setting the graphics to "fast" fixes most problems I had at first.

I expected it to be like Anarchy Arcade but it is just a compilation of random arcade games made by Garry & Co?

it's like a virtual arcade hall, it's networked and it appears you actually see the other players progress
Beat my score yo.
I can barely reach 400 points, not to mention the what 700 points you did, or was it 780?
i'm surprised after being on here for a while that i never even heard of facewound
any keys?
I can barely reach 400 points, not to mention the what 700 points you did, or was it 780?
530, unless it's been beat by someone else.
530, unless it's been beat by someone else.
yeah I was wrong, still can't get past 400 though.
here's another arcade game though. You get to control people who can have different guns and make sure they don't die from zombies at night time, you can also build stuff like walls too which is nice. What is less nice is this dumbass killing everyone in one go, including himself.

Nevermind didn't see the zombie there
I'm wondering with arcade if there would be a way to implement custom arcade games
I'm wondering with arcade if there would be a way to implement custom arcade games
Yes, in fact that's the entire point of the game. If you read any of the dev blogs you go into pretty specific detail about how all their systems are designed to support custom games etc.

that's great, I would love to see if there was a way to implement Lightgun games like Carnevil or the Time Crisis games

How would that even work though? Considering how lightguns work I can't quite see what use they would have in the 3d game, it would essentially just be your cursor? Unless you mean you use a real lightgun and shoot your own CRT monitor.. Which I doubt would work very well considering the viewing frustum of your resolution -> the 3d game -> the Arcade game

I was thinking like there could be Vive implementation where in game you have to pick up the light gun from the arcade cabinet and literally shoot at the screen.

But Vive won't solve the inital problem it will just add another.
:snip:
Those fucking poop birds I swear
sure, the birds might be tricky, but the flying saucers that take a billion hits to kill and instantly start damaging you from 10 kilometers away are pretty great too

Just a rogue post meant for another thread I'm guessing. Happens to the best of us.

it's hard to describe, it looks better in my head
Not sure if this was reported but when I leave an arcade I get stuck on this screen.
I can type in the input fields, but clicking anything else does nothing.

Anyways the Arcade looks promising. I haven't tried the other games too much yet.
Elevators are also broken. You can call them but you can use the numberpad on the inside.
Not sure if this is even a bug or just something left out.
I like arcade, but the block break game is so bloody loud, I think the demo volume should be turned down a bit.
