Any estimate when Arcade will be fixed so we can play it?
Do you honestly still think bots are taking keys? Really they're slower than humans seeing how fp users are getting keys in that case, which would make it a pretty shit bot.
Idk it only ever seems like 2 people post they took keys, out of 5 or 10 posted.
Wouldn't using something like pastebin prevent bots from taking keys? Instead of just posting them as plain text in the thread you can just link us to pastebin with the keys in it.
[editline]23rd October 2015[/editline]
never mind, apparently pastebin has a bot problem too :poot:
There are ways to circumvent them, Caesar cipher, Morse code, you name it to deal with not only bots but also our fellow human snitchers. Then again I'd imagine not everyone will post about which key they took.
So, here's what I think:
Facewound
Really fucking fun. That's all there is to it.
Arcade
Not sure if I was doing anything wrong or it's just broken but joining a room would spawn me in a black box and the create room button wouldn't work since I couldn't create or load an interior.
Shiny Sphere
Really fun but got pretty nauseating after a little bit of playing. In short bursts the game is fine but if you play it more than 3 times it starts to get a little vomity.
Revolver
Not got a clue how to play this but it has some sweet sound effects.
BorderlineHD
Another really fun game, played this for about 45 mins straight. At first it wasn't incredibly obvious what to do but once you worked it out it was actually a really interesting gameplay mechanic. My highscore is 14 if anyone wants to brag about how much better they are than me.
Archeology
No controller :(
Pressure Chamber
Another "just one more try" game. Didn't spend as much time playing this as I did with borderline but I had a lot of fun with it. My highscore is 24.
Renegade: Action Commando
Short and sweet little arcade FPS. I really liked the variation in enemy types and the different ways they had to be killed on this one.
Transposer
This one is a really interesting and fun concept. It's a pain in the arse getting cheaply killed by those zombie things but I guess that's part of the game. I also noticed that after about 458 points I stopped being able to pick up coins. I'm not sure if this is intended or not but it was a bit annoying.
Space Usurper
HOLY SHIT HOW DID I SPEND 2 HOURS ON THIS
This game really lives up to it's title of "bullet hell" because the final form is literally hell. I didn't even feel happy when I beat it. I was just glad I could finally leave the game knowing that I wasn't a complete failure. Anyway, the game is really fun.
Bacteria Town
I don't have a clue what this is, but the death effect on the virus looks nice.
Laser Grid
Not too sure what to do but it seems you have to survive for as long as possible. Looks sort of neglected since the game doesn't even run at the correct resolution.
Candy Worm
An interesting take on Snake, you can't kill yourself by eating yourself but you pick up things on your back that spawn around the level. Also there's a CRT TV effect which I can't decide if I like or not, sometimes it's annoying but when transitioning between menus and the game it looks quite nice.
Just post keys as images?
Just added a new demo "MusicBox", some things are a bit broken since I was working on VR support last time I touched it.
Use right click & hold to drag stuff around, left click & hold on a red input to rewire it, and left click on a node box thing to change its parameters.
Messing with stuff is great fun, how do you rotate thins though?
:snip:
whoops wrong thread
Messing with stuff is great fun, how do you rotate thins though?
That's one of the things that's broken outside of VR, I'll have some time to fix it on Monday

If these are just side projects for you guys, are you working on gmod 2?
Been trying for a couple days now and the game still fails to launch at all.
I'm on Yosemite.
Ziks, is your Voxel/Minecraft'ish game ever going on FP Prototype?
Ziks, is your Voxel/Minecraft'ish game ever going on FP Prototype?
Possibly, although at the moment there's not really anything to do besides fly around if you don't have a Vive.
Possibly, although at the moment there's not really anything to do besides fly around if you don't have a Vive.
Is there a possibility of multiplayer if both users have a vive?
Is there a possibility of multiplayer if both users have a vive?
That's something we really need to do at some point. There are a few things I want to finish off first, but I want to give that a go eventually.

Near the FP office next week, almost tempted to come by just to check it out. :smug:
Was it any of the FP devs that made a Query account by CD-key?
If these are just side projects for you guys, are you working on gmod 2?
gmod 2 has been out for ages???
GMod 2 was where it grew from being an experiment with the SDK to something resembling more what we now know as Garry’s Mod. It had ropes that could connect objects, a physics gun that let you manipulate objects, a camera, and welding. It was the first glimpse of the ad-hoc A-Team aping creative mode – it was just about possible to create a rickety truck from a cargo container and welded tyres. Back then, it felt like magic.
He was talking about the next-gen gmod, which currently has the working title gmod2 (the 2 here stands for source engine 2, as that's what the original plan was to use as engine) because there's no set name for it yet.
But since this quickly goes beyond this thread's purpose, here a link to the thread: https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1474548

That was just a joke.

"I was just pretending to be retarded"
That was just a joke.
Plus even if it was a joke (which is what I definitely thought you were trying to do), it's the lowest hanging fruit.
"I was just pretending to be retarded"
It's not retarded though. It's a fact.
It's not going to be called gmod and also gmod 2 is old as fuck.
gmod2 is the codename
So, can do you anything in Music Box?
mannn, i really want to try these hopefully I'll be able to grab a keyy
So, can do you anything in Music Box?
It's basically like being inside an analog synthesizer.
Facewound -
Fun but gets a little stale further in.
Transposer -
Fun little game, interesting but nothing much to it.
ShinySphere -
It takes awhile to understand it but when it gets going it is kinda a mindfuck.
Revolver -
Very minimal and i didn't quite understand what the hell was going on.
Borderline -
Didn't enjoy it that much and didn't understand it.
Archarology -
Didn't have a controller, couldn't play.
Renegade -
Killed hitler, goofy characters. Basically all the art made the game great.
Pressure Chamber -
Didn't understand it, again super minimal but it was okay i guess?
I really like music box, but the ability to see the value of something (for example a sine wave) would be helpful in understanding at a glance what something does. I don't know much about making music at all, but I've had a lot of fun with this!
I'd like to have a key if that's possible at all
Am I missing something in Deuce? I can't seem to select anything on the main menu except feedback
