Have you got a controller connected? At the moment you need a pad to play the game but I'll be adding keyboard support sometime this week.

The physics don't really match up with the animations, the ball always hits the same distance no matter how hard it's hit. Kind of uncanny valley for me.

It looks weird, but I think that considering it's with a cartoon aesthetic it's not really that bad.
Judging from the video alone (I'll play it later) - I think some extra sound effects and music would go a long way. The visuals are fantastic, but the sound design seems a bit dull.
As the article you posted on the site says, beg for a key, sure, here, give me a key, I don't know anyone who works at FP, but still, I will try.

Yeah we need some effects and music in there. We've not really concentrated on audio yet and what's there so far is just placeholder stuff.

Man, I've always been interested in Deuce, didn't know it was still around though.
Deuce is pretty fun I will not lie, I love the art style and I really enjoy playing it, I love the aesthetic of the health system where it's more cartoony than traditional tennis and closer to a fighting game, really works well
Felt pretty bland without music however, but I understand that this is all early

Same thing happens to me. Whenever I want to redeem a key, Steam freezes for about a minute.
