Guessing Adam?
One of these days I won't be having dinner/at uni/studying when the keys are posted, so maybe I'll have the chance of trying all these prototypes.
The only time I had an opportunity to get a key was a while ago, and steam basically exploded so they got taken. Most of the time I miss them because I'm not near the pc or I'm just late :vs:
I keep coming to this thread and it's only hurting me
I'm on a 2013 Toshiba laptop with an i5-3230M @ 2.60GHz, 4GB RAM and a AMD Mobility HD7500 Series, and I can't run Deuce or Space Cunts with more than 20fps on 1024x600, understandable as it's pretty much a toaster
Right, so here is my criticism of what I've played of Rogue Space Runts.
+ Looks pleasant and has very little visual noise.
+ controls are simple.
+ Songs sound good (at least in my opinion)
- The hub has a few issues, I could easily exit the area.
- There is a too few songs, can make the game seem pretty boring.
- No keyboard support at the moment.
Ahhhh, once again I'm late to the party. I'm actually really interested in Space Runts, I remember when it was first sorta shown off as Space Cunts.
I'm gonna throw in a beg because I always seem to miss these, and that's what the article said to do.
Been a long time follower of p much everything FP has had to offer, and always try throw feedback any time I've seen progress on Rust/Arcade/Before. No reason I couldn't throw more at you guys for these.

This has been said enough times in this thread that this is now an obligatory video:

If I can convince my roommate to let me use his gaming PC I'll finally be able to test these damn things
Right now they're just sitting unusable on my mac but somehow it's listed as a mac-compatible title and even installs
And i missed it again. Can we like pay for a key please? I'm honestly tired of checking this thread every day and missing it.

get key[/QUOTE]
Did nobody tell you the new way to get keys?
You have to post a certain cat in the LMAO pics thread. After a while, you'll find that you can access the secret 'Refugee Camp' forum and inside will be a thread with a key specifically for you.

Is that a fucking Soul Eater reference?
More Space Blunts:
Played through it again, this time to the boss which I somehow missed the first time. I really liked the boss! I'm not sure how I feel about health/shield not resetting after completion of a level, I think I'd need to see just how hard levels can get. That being said, I don't see the difference between health and shield other than shield batteries dropping from enemies. In most games (Halo, Borderlands, etc.), shield will regenerate over time. Not sure how that'd work in this, but it just currently seems pointless to have them be different colors when they basically act the same way.
Some bubs:

I got outside the hub area by pushing through the store. I was able to get back in by pushing through the wall, but turns out you can also push out through the wall.
[t]http://puu.sh/kZ0Ia.jpg[/t]
I was shooting through this wall. There were a few other surfaces that I could shoot through as well, but it never really offered an advantage. The surfaces were also all pipes, so it could be a feature?
Also, do you plan on having passive items in this? Obviously active items are a thing, with the bubble shield and the disk thing, but I mean perk-like stuff. Like "every time you pick up a battery, you gain explosive bullets for 3 seconds!" and rad stuff like that. Would be an easy way to increase the loot pool (assuming you have loot, games like this tend to).
Everything is blurry, too. Like just in general everything seems a little blurry. I didn't notice earlier because I wasn't close to my screen. You can see this in my screenshots. Running "Fantastic"

Yo! Cheers for the feedback.
Yeah got a few ideas for the shield, not sure how to handle it yet. Was thinking shields might automatically renew when you get back to the town/hub, or they might be repairable but not your health. Or maybe regen in gameplay. Not sure, but figured I'd have them in and decide later. Will probably try a few things out!
Yep! The player abilities/skills are going to be random drops eventually, so that they're different each run too (when I have enough of em!) and also items with effects like you say.
I think I know why it's blurry, I think it's defaulting to 1280x720 after the first play (inside the game, not necessarily what the launcher says - but I think the launcher might actually reset to 720p too). Gonna fix that tomorrow.
Cool that you liked the boss! Thinking of adding a Boss Run mode later on where you can just play all the bosses back to back for score/fun. Be a good way to practice the bosses too for the main game.
Care to give the good ol me a key
I've updated the Deuce build to support keyboard controls now.
Currently the controls are mapped like this: Arrow keys move the player, A =Lob, S = Slice, D =Topspin, QWE keys correspond to the three different specials you can do.
If you don't like these defaults you can change them for now in the Input tab from the launcher although at some point this launcher will probably be removed and the options moved into the game.
If you have a controller you can now play a local multiplayer match with the other player on the keyboard.
Can somebody at least upload the old facewound build that garry had uploaded many years ago? If it's not against the rules of course (Does that count as piracy now?).

I would also second the regenerating ship health and/shield I guess it could be like a difficulty slider IE Easy gets a full shield, Medium gets 1 / 2 points added to current shield.
Also had an issue where I closed the game and launched it later but my movement controls never worked the ship would animate but I wouldn't move - Had to wipe the save and re launch the game to fix it. (I was on the swirly portal in the hub to start the mission)

Can you PM me a key? I know that I don't really post often (or at all), but I'd love to try out the game.
