finally played troubleshooter because of the m/kb controls
firstly it's pretty fun. the enemy variety is nice, and the way that random enemies get boosted with level powerups is pretty cool. if you could expand on that with a diablo-style system of having normal, special and boss enemies with random modifiers, it would actually suit the game pretty well
one issue I found very quickly was with how shield cells seem to drop randomly from enemies. I know it's very roguelike-esc to have everything randomised, but its frustrating to have 3 shield drops in a row while you're on full hp, and then lose 2 blips in the next room and receive no shield drops for the rest of the level
my suggestion would be make the random drops extremely rare, and have situations where shield cells are found in a more consistent way. such as finding blue barrels (that drop a shield cell) in dead-ends as a reward for exploring, and having them always drop after defeating those gauntlet rooms that lock you in until everythings dead.
also I guess it's probably placeholder but the 1-3 boss is pretty lacklustre. that big arena really needs generic enemies spawning in constantly to make it more frantic because the fight is extremely relaxed atm. also the fact that the boss is just a scaled up turret isn't very engaging, though I can understand it if your intention is to have hundreds of randomised bosses instead of a few hand-crafted ones. also a nice loot explosion would be good for that sense of accomplishment :)
as far as bugs go it seems you can't buy anything from the washer store with m/kb controls. also it seems like weapons aren't saving since you go back to the crap blaster when you load the next level or quit/reload

Thanks for the feedback! Some good points. Exactly what I'm after :)
Maybe making it so shields don't get looted when you're at full shields would help, and leave them in the level (show them on the minimap) until you collect them later if need be.
Dead-end rewards/buffs is something we've spoken about, but not done anything about yet :)
Making a note of your suggestions.
Edit:
Weapons not saving defo sounds like a bug. Will fix!
Much love,

Only 3 hours and all keys gone, god damn it
Got this yesterday and liked the majority of those games.
I love the trippy visuals of Candy Worm and Facewound is fun as fuck!
Didn't try the others too much but will soon.

I've made it so shields aren't collected if you're at full health now. I also had an idea and just changed something so you'll get less shields when you don't need them, and a little bonus chance when you do. Should help!
Facewound is pretty great, my favorite game in this bunch, it crashed when you load your save though, not sure what causes it.
Troubleshooter is a bit outside my taste but could be better if the difficulty was adjustable, I would prefer one where weapon pickups are plentiful and enemies are everywhere in huge hordes.
Havent tried any other yet.
Just got a key, but when I put it into Steam it says I've activated it, and then... nothing. It doesn't install, it doesn't appear in my library (I've checked Games, Tools, even Music). Am I just being stupid or have I done something wrong?

It's still 0?
Yep.
Tried out troubleshooter on my craptop. Performance sucked so I'll have to try it out on my desktop some other time. Some things I noticed while playing though:
The minimap (at least on this tiny resolution) was offset down a bit:

I found a floating beverage:

When I was in the pipes/tunnels on the cocktail mission above, my camera kept zooming in and out super fast. It couldn't decide if it wanted to be zoomed in or out.
Whoops, took a key without realising last time's keys did end up working eventually.
So here's the new one: five86J0-MPC3V-KJ9NF
By the way, still lots on prototypes.facepunch.com left.
A couple of updates to FP prototypes,
ah damn, Space Usurper didn't make it.
Oh and btw, I finally did it, I survived inside, yeah.

Facewound is fun, but at some point in the second level my character developed the ability to fly and phase through objects, which made the rest of the game pretty easy.
I think Space Usurper is definitely my favorite game so far.

by default, pressing the V key will toggle noclip flying
you might have pressed that key
Out of keys :(
I was playing that spaceshooter thing and my camera was spazing out for some reason when i got close to an enemy. My ress is 1399*769 on my laptop

If you're talking about Troubleshooter, I had the same issue. 1366x768 laptop, mouse/keyboard. The camera would zoom in and out really fast.
On vacation for a week to find out 10k guys were released. wouldn't think they would go so quickly.

Weird, I can't get this to happen. Tried at that resolution, with M/K.
When it happens is it constant in and out really quick or occasionally?
EDIT: Just thought, is this windowed or fullscreen?
rip, missed out on keys
They go so damn fast.

Some clips of it I mashed together. It seems to only happen in certain areas, like inbetween rooms. Also, I had some weird UI flickering in the first clip here.

When I played it the other time, it was zooming in and out a lot more extreme and consistently but only in one area, I think was in a pipe hallway section.
I only played for a couple minutes to grab these clips, if you need more let me know. But perf on my laptop sucks.

Almost ready, sorry for the wait. Was planning to add it to the prototypes on friday, but some cross-platform and audio issues turned up. Soon.......................................................
Will there be more keys?

Thanks for this! :)
the new Space Usurper is in the prototypes now. thanks for waiting!

it works on windows/mac/linux, though only windows gets force feedback on the gamepad.
and if you use the windows version, you should be able to drag (specially formatted) PNGs from your browser (or local PNGs) onto the running game to play them.
try it with this:

otherwise you can drop PNGs into the "enemies" folder.
anyway there's an instruction manual with some more info.
it doesn't have too many levels right now....
hoping you guys make some cool ones :mindblown::weeb:
Space Usurper's icon acts weirdly in the Windows volume mixer.
I am using Windows 10.
