I just realized
What if the different sounding pistol in the webm is actually a 40S&W Tactical
The default 9mm is a Beretta 92FS, I just found out about the Beretta 96 (which shoots .40S&W)
That'd be a Kojima tier ruse

We sure have come a long way.
I remember the original pistols had an animation like you were getting kicked by a mule and a somewhat out of place cracking PAP, PAP, PAP sound.
Still hope Gunslinger doesn't seriously just start with dualies unless it's a bonus with a perk, but I'll really welcome some new 1-4 weight weapons to mix into loadouts.
I've been wondering if you guys had this happen. I've been playing hard recently to try and level up since I hadn't really played since the first reset. I used to play suicidal and even though it was rare to beat hanz I still felt like most decent players I encountered in suicidal were decent. But playing from normal to hard I felt like I played with some of the worst people, specifically in hard matches over normal ones. Normal matches aren't so bad since you can carry, but on hard I get people who don't know to heal themselves let alone teammates. I've had healers level 16 not heal people, supports do no damage, zerkers just doing nothing, for some strange reason no one going commando, and demos not pulling weight. I don't know, I feel like even worse players gravitate towards hard when they should be in normal, and some normal people who would actually be good teammates for hard, and then suicidal and up people know is hard so they don't dare try unless they're good.
I dunno, I seem to get that kind of people no matter what difficulty I play on. Sometimes I'll actually run in to competent players though. I do recall having more issues on Hard pubs than Suicidal I'll give you that..
I mostly stick to solo because of those kind of people coming about a little too often, and I don't have any friends to play KF2 with.. so.. anyone here wanna play some rounds some time? I can play whatever difficulty and class, I don't mind.
I'm down to play KF2 with anyone, add me if you want someone to play with.
It's always fun how easy it is to tell who has legitimately gotten various classes to Level 25, and who used five minutes of Cheat Engine to do it.

This is why I only play hard to learn a perk and get it to a decent level (let's say 10+), then I always switch to suicidal. It seems all the clueless people somehow always end playing hard. They won't play normal because it's so easy that everyone and their mum can win it, but they stay away from the harder difficulties because hard mode is already giving them enough trouble
On the other hand, when you play suicidal you usually end up with people who at least know what they're doing, so in a weird way that actually makes suicidal easier to win than hard. It all comes down to the fact that it's harder to play 1 vs 6 players worth of hard zeds than simply doing your share against suicidal zeds.
what's up with zerkers playing all waves up to 10 and then going with the nail gun or even selecting a new class because we're facing hans? zerker is so powerful against hans. the worst thing i've seen is a zerker going demo on the final wave
So what's your guys' playstyle for using shotguns? I'm curious as to what everyone else does because I just often rock dualies until there's a perfect lineup or an emergency.

Pump Shotgun -> Save/Suffer Towards AA12 -> Get Hunting Shotgun after.
I use to get the hunting shotgun first, but AA12 was made more expensive without a very good reason, on top of Support's low ammo count.
Is there a fp steam group for kf2? That would be a big help in finding fellow players, I've played with fp'ers in kf1 before, it was a blast. Hell I even bumped into some of you during the beta I think.

That's exactly it. It could be the same exact model, and no one could complain as they'd be technically in the right

I normally go Microwavegun with Zerker and once it runs out I go full on Zweihänder on Hans. Many people play Zerker for the first few rounds and then change class since you save some money while being a Zerker. I take it people change on Hans since there is a tool tipp saying you still take full damage from Hans' melee attacks, but they do not say that you stagger him with a parry or you even could knock him down with a strong attack.
Yeah, some zerkers don't realize how effective they are against Hans. In my opinion, Hans is super easy to parry and control...well most of the time anyway, sometimes he does surprise you but as long as you have a medic its easy to recover.
Can't wait to get that knockdown at 20 (I'm almost 19).
So, uh, my friend just got carried to the top of the skybox thanks to a Crawler.

Why was it twerking

I survived the grind of getting 6's across the board in the first game. It was incredibly irritating being back at square one with perks when I already have a good grasp on everything that's in the game right now. I can see why people would want to boost them in that respect but I have no fucking clue why someone would do that if this is their first in the series. And then join my suicidal games.

Yeah, I have nothing against people boosting to skip grind. I totally do that in almost every single player game I do without hesitation. Life's too short to grind something hours on end for enough of an arbitrary value to get something you want. Cooperative games are still a little more sketchy, but I still mostly don't mind, especially in cases like Payday 2 where the entire game's bloodline revolves on perpetual grinding.
But if you're going to cheat your perks to 25, make an effort to learn the game and stick to Normal/Hard before you infest Suicidal/Hell-on-Earth servers. I would rather have a KF1 Vet who knows his or her shit at Level 0 in a Suicidal group than some bored kid new to the game who set himself up as a 25 Berzerker.
[sp]Side-note: People who don't understand that medics are a privilege, not a right, get on my nerves. When you decide that facefucking two industrial meat blenders sounds like a good idea and I can't outheal it, it's not my fault. And when the team crumples because you thought leading two roid junkies and a chainsaw guy who's everday was backday right to me in your currently 180HP, 90 Armor panic; and I get killed; and soon after the team crumples because I was the only one with healing weapons? Go fuck yourself.[/sp] :v:
I've been playing KF since its first release as a mod for ut2k4 and did the 6 level grind for KF1. I cheated to skip the grind in KF2 but I'm fairly skilled and do my part on suicidal/HoE.

Did the UT2k4 mod even have perks? I think the earlier versions didn't
The mod had perks, iirc 1.0 started with Commando, Medic, Sharpshooter, and Support.
I didn't even do kf1 legit, I started playing years after it came out and the hype was dead
but I made it my goal in kf2 to do every map on x difficulty before moving up (starting from normal ofc) til I got the achievement for them all
worked out well enough
I have yet to win a suicidal game, even with a level 20 perk. Haven't tried solo yet, but every game I go into the team either gives up, lvl 0 jokers arrive, or we play well but bad luck or a bad combo of zeds kill us.
weird. i win most suicidal games, maybe 90%
weird. i win most suicidal games, maybe 90%
Sometimes I have the feeling I only win a suicidal game because I keep spamming my team mates with healing. There is a heavy lack of actual medics in this game. I'd rather go zerker or firebug, but then everyone just heals themselves and all will die at the second Fleshpound.
Anyone got a link to the exp farming map?
