The biggest thing I miss about the M79 from KF1 is the auto reload it had whenever you swapped to another weapon.
That reload "glitch" was TWI not making a separate animation for the reload, so once it fired it was also considered reloaded if the animation ended early. It was the same for the Xbow, IIRC.

mate I wasn't saying that at all. I just complain sometimes because I'm tired of waiting for ages. They said they had a demo rework up but now they say they don't have one at all and it'll be forever until they're actually useful in this game. beating a dead horse by now though since this is how they seem to treat everything in this game.

yet they have all the time to nerf things, sure it's for data collection but surely your data collection by now has gathered that people are sick of the slow response to everything?
if you have time to tweak values how about starting by [I]buffing the existing demo[/I] and seeing if it's any better

it wasn't a "what we have in mind" deal, it was a "we're almost done with it but we couldn't get it out in time for gunslinger, but it should be out soon" deal. its been 5 months since demo came out and they're still shit, and now they reveal that what they've been working on all this time is just a bunch of bullshit and they literally have nothing planned.
Demo is okay on higher levels though
I'm on level 14 now somehow and it feels a bit better
As long as i remember to spam Fleshpounds with all i got and if people would actually spare me money since Demo is expensive as fuck

The biggest problem with Demo to me right now is the pricing of weapons
Too high for too low an effect
There needs to be more weapons to fill in the price gaps
Wonder how they'll handle modding in weapons. I'd take a stab at modelling some gyrojet guns once I know a bit more about it
Like if they'll allow legit levelling with perk-specific mod weapons. Can't remember if they whitelisted mods in KF1
I have no idea what a "gyrojet" is supposed to be, but it'd be cool if there was just a sci-fi weapons class with a Laser Rifle and Tau Cannon (because it was fun in HL2, and with KF2's mechanics it could be fucking incredible).

A Gyrojet is basically a handgun that shoots tiny rockets instead of bullets

Demo raises sharply in usefulness like 3 times. Isn't good until the contact dynamite, isn't great until the siren resistance, and isn't fantastic until the stunning bonus.
It's so much more blatant that it gets better as you go on than the other perks.

I thought gyrojet rounds didn't actually explode, just bounce off skin at point blank because the round didn't build up enough speed yet.
Not necessarily, there's a chance the ignition of the bullet and start up the rocket doesn't fully ignite until the bullet exits the barrel, but it seems unlikely (and I doubt the selling point for gyrojet was point blank shots).

its lame as fuck because I love using the rpg so much. also ive probably talked about this way too many times to count.

that might be true, but the devs wanted to make everything as 'realistic as possible' concerning weapons.

with my negative amount of weapon knowledge the china lake is like a pump action shotgun, but with grenades instead
so you can still fire more than one shot at a time but not with some insane firerate so you can't constantly use it as a get out of jail free card
Any kind of launcher that isn't single shot is welcome given the amount of times the game fucking poofed my grenade away despite playing with 60 ping along with stalkers being a lot harder to spot now compared to KF1.

yep. its clear that tripwire is going away from those big instakill weapons, so getting an m32 would be extremely doubtful, especially since it was among the biggest of the worst offenders weaponwise, since if you got in trouble you could just fire off every shot in like 2 seconds and exterminate everything. the china lake would be great for this since you won't be extremely punished for missing a single shot like the nade launcher/rpg in the game now, and would also make fleshpounds easy meat for them on HOE since you'd be able to fire off several shots each time an rpg user would be able to fire off one.
