thats for sure, since some of the devs say that support is fine! (but they're looking into it) etc. but they only play on fucking normal and hard difficulty and thats what they're basing it off of.
9:46 AM - Scrapples: Why is it that Support is pretty much the bottom of the barrel in terms of classes>
9:46 AM - Scrapples: ?
9:46 AM - [TW]Yoshiro: because you aren't good with it?
9:46 AM - [TW]Yoshiro: It is my go to class
and after over 400 hours he's barely beaten any maps in the game, and has repeatedly died on normal short by trapping himself in corners and general awful plays.
I like how yoshiro is probably the worst guy out of the bunch to handle PR, from what I've seen in the past he's just so efficient at ignoring feedback that conflicts with his ideas, and just generally acts like a belligerent fool. It's almost comedic how his reply to most criticism is a typical "I don't have a problem with it so everyone's complaint is invalid". Though at this point nobody on the inside seems to acknowledge what's going on with the game so I guess nobody will do much of a better job.
Don't the zed players share the spawn pool with AI zeds? Which means you have to protect them and attack as quickly as you can or you'll lose.
yea, and they aren't as strong as ai ones (scrakes and fp's especially) butttt with you just being able to enrage at will, it seems like, it pretty much means death for the humans when the double fp wave spawns, not to mention double scrakes. I doubt they really playtested it, to be fair.

Or "you're just bad xD"
Like that prick Almir from payday
I wonder if the team ever even beat HoE. I remember a stream or video of them trying and failing and how they were planning on trying to beat it, buuuut yeah I haven't heard of anything since.
I feel like with how sporadic and rare these updates are, maybe Tripwire's in over their head trying to make this game with possibly expectations they've set too high, so now they're just trying to micromanage everything without actually completing something.
Their focus is all wrong. Where the hell did PVP come from when all the perks aren't even in the game yet? Or for that matter, where'd it come from when the perks we have now aren't even all that good? Like what, did they think it was too hard so they just decided to blow it off and work on something completely different?
We already know that they barely playtest anything, it was obvious when Demo's perks were useless up until you got to the max rank

And even then.
Demo was only fun on Sheep's Custom Server, because rapid-firing RPG's

PvP modes are becoming more and more popular in the industry now. Wouldn't be surprised if they think they can turn it into an e-sport or something.
remember when they said they couldn't release sharpshooter with gunslinger because they didn't have enough time.
4 months later they dedicate their time to vs mode and still no sharpshooter.
what a time to be alive.
There are so many good changes I almost don't believe it.
Wasn't Sharpshooter a last minute delay because they weren't happy with one of the mechanics?
Four months ago?

Meanwhile, Codemasters put out the console release and V1.1 for Dirt Rally out all in those four months.
That does remind me that Tripwire had promised a console release 6 months ago. Yet it is all crickets from them on that front.
Anyone got more explanation on:
The game will dynamically dial in the gameplay for the appropriate amount of challenge based on the players in the match.
Is it just adjusting squad spawns, or other things? If this means pub matches have less carry-and-kite slogs due to the double fleshpounder combo in later waves when we have a lot of low levels, I'd be happy.
Now we wait till we get zed skins/hats/cosmetics and we can have very own nipple piercings.
-Players will now drop their best weapon on death if the weapon they have out cannot be dropped.
-Fleshpound will no longer perma-rage, and Scrake will no longer insta-rage when they are among the last few remaining Zeds.
-Possible fix for “Phantom Projectiles” issue with projectile weapons.
-Possible fix for trader not filling ammo when you only need a few bullets.
FINALLY
"New 9mm sounds "
YES PLEASE GOD THANK YOU
Welder removed from the weapon selection menu - now only available from the prompt to bring up welder at door - This should allow players to select the healer more reliably
Support class eternally screwed over.
Not quite sure how their sound design keeps getting worse. I think I like the new 9mm even less and the Lever-Action sounds like an air gun with some rattling plastic when you rack it. :vs:
Support class eternally screwed over.
Holy fuck was this a dumb move. Because you now have to ~hold E~ to get the Welder out temporarily, it takes far longer to get to welding doors to the point where panic welding might as well not even be a thing.
Hey wow, an update
I want to be able to weld other player's armor like in natural selection 2, basically instead of welding doors I'd be welding berserkers.
It's a little annoying how players always tend to stay in the same exact spot on the map for the entire duration of the match. Even if the lights are completely out, doors are smashed and there's blood and corpses everywhere. I like roaming around and setting up in different locations, but others don't seem to care that much at all...
The game punishes you for roaming with the spawn system, so players are very discouraged to do that.
really? how exactly? Haven't noticed this at all.

If you keep moving around during the waves the AI tries to flank you. It's better to change the holding position during the trader time
Oh man, PvP is actually really fucking fun.
Not excusing this update pace, but still.
If you keep moving around during the waves the AI tries to flank you. It's better to change the holding position during the trader time
no yeah, that's what I meant. Even during trader time 9 times out of 10 everyone goes back to the previous fight zone, no matter what condition it is.
