Managed to find time to play VS. My god, who ever thought it was a good idea to push this on this state right now? Everything that isn't a Siren, FP, SC or the Patriarch can't survive more than 2 seconds, and almost do zero damage. They should at least have disabled the headshots for the Zed team. Ironically, I had more fun playing as the Patriarch rather than any other zed.

Plus there's also that whole deal of holding off content for a long time while pulling out the "we're doing QA over a small bit of content, for 5 months" card with said content ending up being broken anyway or having shit balance. Actually no, now that I think of it I'm sorry I didn't notice the past 25 pages of people wondering when VS mode will be complete and that nobody was really expecting sharpshooter or any other dumb content like that that shouldn't be prioritized.

TWI spends time polishing stuff before they release it "wow everything's broken - ~extensive in-house playtesting~ I mean, what the fuck did a three year old balance this?" TWI releases a WIP gametype "where's sharpshooter. who wanted this." At this point, having played since they launched it, I am almost sold on the fact that their "in-house playtesting" goes as far as doing one or two quick matches in the office, making sure shit doesn't CTD, and moving on. It feels like something is critically wrong with their management/scope/gameplan for development. Not only should it not take this fucking long (barring maybe maps), it shouldn't be this aimless either. I never followed what happened with RO, but its' really clear that I'm not trusting Tripwire in the future to do anything right. :v:

We complain when the thing we want is nowhere to be seen, which is different when something no one asked for that probably has diverted resources from the thing we want arrives out of the ethe, and is completely the opposite of the methodology the developers were peddling before.
Looks like two winners of the Grindhouse Contest (Hostile Grounds and Containment Station) will become official soon. http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showpost.php?p=1482072&postcount=7
Tripwire posted a status update on Facebook about the "Early Access done right" claim and the topic of fan feedback. https://www.facebook.com/killingfloor2thegame/posts/975941145815427

https://www.facebook.com/killingfloor2thegame/posts/975941145815427
Well they honestly admitted that they did not have a plan in place for future updates, and the bottleneck that is their development strength at hand, which is better late than never. But the problem lies ahead is how they will pull their heads out of their arses and get the job done. I don't want to celebrate "2 years of EA" at all and I'm sure everyone doesn't, either.
I don't want the game to be thrown to the community and them saying "fix it yourselves" I know they're not known for this but I have a feeling it might happen
I don't want the game to be thrown to the community and them saying "fix it yourselves"
The community could honestly fix the balance issues and poor perk trade-offs in about a week if coordinated right. Maybe less. A single guy could do it in a night, haphazardly. I can really forgive them on map creation. I can only kinda not-really forgive them on weapon/animation (and thus class) creation. I can't forgive them for the pathetic pace of balance and tweaks therein. And no amount of long apologetic speeches will convince me otherwise because I don't know even what # of "sorry this is hard" papers I've had to read from them. It's not rocket science and they're definitely not reinventing the wheel. They're recreating the same game they've made twice. They already have all the ZEDs in and now even two bosses out of four. Is someone seriously going to tell me I need to wait another year (or longer) for the last handful of classes in a game that could otherwise be called done with a few more maps and two bosses? Oh that's right. PvP. And more cosmetics. And a market place. And more half-assed achievements. And collectables. I know KF1 had a long and drawn-out road, but the end product was as enjoyable as it was endearing (right up the fuck until they added non-cosmetic weapons as DLC during the death throes.) I never remember dumb feature creep, it was just "wham, here's a bunch of new maps and maybe a new weapon" or "here's a holiday theme'd event at no charge." I want to love you Tripwire, but you make it far too difficult.
they've put out more graphs on updates than updates at this point.
Another Tuesday is upon us. Wagers on an update coming? No?
Another Tuesday is upon us. Wagers on an update coming? No?
You have more chance to be struck by lightning or even win the lottery than Tripwire releasing an update in the coming weeks, so go ahead and bet everything. However, you'll probably die of old age before that bet comes to terms.

No, not content updates, so it's the typical Tripwire let-down at this point.
Another Tuesday is upon us. Wagers on an update coming? No?
they'll give you a month in advance full of charts, pre-update descriptions of everything, and exclusive pc gamer access before anything comes out.
I assume we're looking at a mid-May to June release date for the remainder of Sharpshooter, those two Grindhouse maps being made official, and hopefully another female character like they said they were working on. Demo rework as well.
i hope the demo rework isn't something that's simply "we moved around some skills" because that's not the problem with the perk.
i hope the demo rework isn't something that's simply "we moved around some skills" because that's not the problem with the perk.
Replacing the M79 with a China Lake, or reducing its weight/buffing it would be a good start. That along with getting tweaking the C4 timer so that you can simultaneously detonate at least two C4 at full damage.
looks like shuu jumped ship and became the community coordinator/manager for stardew valley https://twitter.com/shuu_37/status/722537506726637568
What did he do before?
What did he do before?
QA tester for KF2. Was rather active in the KF2 communities, such as Reddit and Discord.
QA tester for KF2. Was rather active in the KF2 communities, such as Reddit and Discord.
What names did he go under?
What names did he go under?
Shuu...?
Shuu...?
I can read that, I thought maybe he used some other names as well cause I know couple KF2 QA guys from other forums.
It's funny because stardew is actually getting updated regularly, he'll spread the infection of "nothing changing"
At least Stardew is content complete compared to KF2 which has a ton of missing stuff
At least Stardew is content complete compared to KF2 which has a ton of missing stuff
Stardew = Released KF2 = Early Access At least have it make sense if you want to joke about the content :v:
