Anyone else getting this error message upon joining online games?

I've tried verifying cache and re-installing, both attempts were fruitless.
I'm not using any mods for the pump-shotgun either.
Double EXP weekend, double drops, and an update:

XP and Dosh was not being awarded after killing human-controlled zeds in versus

There will be though, in the future they will have weapons that affect gameplay that you have to acquire through gambling

just buying stuff from the store is fine, but having 99% of your items locked behind crates exploits gamblers like crazy.

Wait, so if "once every 24 hours" is the drop rate [I]doubled[/I], then does that mean the default drop rate is once every 48 hours?
And what does that even mean? Does that mean for every 24 hours of game I play I get one drop? It already kinda feels like that

Basically play 'til you get a drop then don't play' til tomorrow. I've only been doing like one game a week and I usually get a drop on the first game.

Because money-grubbing before your game is even finished just comes across as greedy
The new money buff is so unneeded, and the ZED time changes
Were people really complaining about the money per kill? I'm now getting dual revolvers on wave 2 suicidal, this is just too easy in my opinion
And ZED time, what the fuck? The bullets have always been slow since KF1, it's meant to be bullet time was anyone complaining that bullets were too slo?
Plenty of people were complaining about the bullet speed. I think it's a good change.
Money change however is completely off and it only takes a wave to figure that one out, i don't know what compelled them to do it.

I thought it was strange to have over £3000 pounds on the last wave on Hard.

The thing with the slow bullets is that in KF1, you wouldn't have a zed wildly change stances or position in a few seconds or even half a second. It's really a testament to the tight hitboxes since I could be firing at one siren just before zed time starts and miss every single shot because they wiggle their head when they move

That was just them talking about how every medic gun is just parts added to the base medic pistol. It would have been cool if the weapon switching animation would "morph" or something between each weapon, but that'd take a lot more work.

What do you mean you couldn't??
It was a complete money buff, there was no nerf to dosh, you should have found it easier to outfit yourself
Now that I think about it, the design of medic weapons is just misguided. They're each complete individual guns and it makes no sense to be the same base frame as though you switch attachments on the fly. I also think the shotgun is a waste of resources and the sounds for all of them are wrong.

It was by far my biggest gripe with the game. It makes absolutely no sense that bullets slow down more than enemies do, so that enemies become comparatively amazing at wobbling out of their way.
Sure, it'd make shooting enemies already up in your face only half as difficult, but any further than twice as difficult. What's the point??

They just need to make the drop system work like csgo's so people can actually get items to craft and make the master crafted items not rarer than the golden ones, and then the rare stuff wouldn't be so expensive.
Knowing how stubborn they are they probably won't change it for a while though.
