Shrapnel or piercing damage would be nice.
I think the only reason for the resistance on bosses is so everyone doesn't just go demo the last round and burst down the boss before they have a chance to heal, which can be solved by just not making low health bosses that heal. Instead add all their heals into one big health pool, have the patty just cloak n retreat when he gets to 75/50/25% health, and change Hans' drain to a temporary all dmg resistance boost (and get rid of the stupid drain shield) if he pokes someone, but have it be interruptible/skipped with enough damage, would make the demo valuable for burst damage in that phase.
I think the explosive resistance was to nerf people chucking all their grenades at the boss for cheap burst damage no matter the kind of perk they use, demo weapons should just deal a special type of explosive damage that isn't affected by explosive resistance because cockblocking 50% of an entire perk's damage output is just an absolutely lame way to do it, might as well put 50% bullet resistance on the boss too since people can all go support and bumrush the boss with AA12's (I'm not serious). Remember the counter they added to patty when people would all gather around the boss to melee him? That was a good change, having a big fuckoff passive resistance against demo's weapons isn't a good one nor a creative one.
Or just have the Demos explosives ignore (or partially ignore) Zeds passive Explosive resistance. Immediate and palpable affect, Scrakes become a bit less worrisome but the demolitions expert can now demolish things.
The Demo melee weapon should have been a plunger box.
I can understand a fire resistance to bigger Zeds, but why would the bosses have stuff to make regular classes pointless ?
I just had a round where i ended up last alive as Demo on level 16 on Hard The last zed was a Scrake while i only had 2 dynamite, 2 c4 and 2 rockets And i managed to beat it with that by delivering the killing blow with a 9mm Shit felt great
I love how OP the lever action is as a sidearm. I play almost exclusively firebug because it was my goto party perk in the original floor killing simulator [sp]seriously I had over 350,000,000 damage inflicted before I started playing KF2 [/sp] and the lever action is just the bees knees. Low tier enemy as a distance? Lever action Want to be a help at something closer than 3 meters? Lever action See a scrake or fleshpound man need to stun and run? Knock knock. Lever action.

Someone posted earlier about using the T1 grenade pistol as the demo's sidearm, replacing the standard 9MM, and replacing the T1 with the M79. T1- M79+Essplosive pistol T2- China Lake T3- C4+ M32? T4- RPG
All I know is C4 shoudn't be considered a tier gun. It should be a supplement to another tier. Replacing the 9mm would be pretty dumb, you can use it quite effectively to conserve ammo and in a pinch it's good to have What we need is a multi shot weapon somewhere in there. The china lake was a good start but I feel the M32 or at least some fancy horzine double rocket launcher is needed. And if it'll insist on the current system, decrease the cost of C4 and give demo a speed reload. A [I]significant[/I] one.
The 9mm has always been the standard sidearm that you never get rid off, so replacing it with such a stupidly dumb pistol would be idiotic
I've seen some pretty interesting ideas for the HX on reddit. Either it works like the VLAD in that you can shoot each pellet individually or all at once, or that it's alternate fire shoots a grenade launcher tube
I think the HX would be a lot better if it wasn't a shitty grapeshot pistol. If the thing functioned like a gyrojet gun, it'd be great. Give it a decent sized clip, and a small explosive radius on impact.

I'd rather have the HX moved to an all-perk position and have it as a shotgun pistol that uses KS-23(23mm shells, big fucking shotgun) rounds. Give it different effects with different perks, such as a frag round for demo, AP slugs for sharpy, incendiary for bug, buckshot for support and com, etc. Have it cheap, quick, and light for a heavier backup gun than the 9mm.
I'd like the grenade pistol a lot more if we could dual wield it.
It would be so tight butthole if you could dual wield different pistols.

C4 Cost per mag increased to 27 (from 25) Wasn't it always 100 dosh per brick? Whatever could it mean?
