Is it me or did shit get 100x harder to kill? I remember being able to rock the first wave with just a knife on suicidal and now I have to use my perk weapons/9mm

I hope I can see the teleporting zed mechanic removed in my lifetime.
Regarding the post about the M16 w/ M203, the M4 M203 was a thing in KF1 so they might as well kill two birds with one stone

So I'm not sure if anyone else has pointed it out yet, but it seems the sharpshooter marksman skill doesn't just raise the rate of fire for marksman weapons it raises it for all weapons from any perk.
M14 and Railgun scopes completely destroy performance for me. It instantly drops to ~25fps.
So, did the "performance optimizations" involve completely fucking up the screen space reflections, or is it just me? I've noticed that my framerates have been really good after this update, but it seems like they toned the reflections way down, and what's left of them is now artifacted to shit, much more than usual.

RPG is literally a Direct Hit now with his nonexistent blast radius. And zed resistance is not a mistake - it's a huge fuck up. Every gun feels weak as shit.

His spawn noise is still the same, but I couldn't really tell if his normal voice changed, mainly because the entire team of Sharpshooters were 1-shotting every Scrake before it could get near. Not gonna lie though, out of those two clips, I honestly really prefer the old one, maybe I've just gotten so used to it.

I guess they want Medic to be the trash cleaner for now? All the trash has super high weakness to SMGs. I like the resistance system but it's way too overly complex right now. Trash zeds resisting weapons that are good at trash cleaning is just weird. Trash zeds shouldn't have such extensive and diverse lists of weaknesses and resistances.
The berserker nerfs are intense, barely survived on Hard with the level 25 medic/berserker combo. Can't knock anything over worth a crap now either too, the preview completely sucked the fun out of it for me. At least you can parry multiple times per block now it seems.
These resistances make me yearn for SWAT.

Teleportation is worse than ever. I just decapitated a fleshpound, turned around and saw the very same headless fleshpound less than a metre away, walking right at me me, before slumping over dead. [editline]10th June 2016[/editline] Then the rest of the fucking wave that ive been keeping at arms length the whole time walks out of a door to my right and im suddenly knee deep in sirens. I never realised how much of a pain in the arse this was before trying to level a sharpshooter.

Managed to give a quick shot to the update: -The resistence zeds are the worst, especially with Stalkers. -The M14 and the Gauss rifle are good. -I like the new character (australian, and the sharpshooter perk has a Kukri. Is this a TF2 reference? :P). -Played the contaiment map, is ok...except half of the rooms have too much overbright (going realistic due the albedo reflected at the moon?) and few places to take cover. -They finally added keybindings for the voice commands (now bring back the insult players option :D). -The tutorial seems good for me, it should be "recommendated" the first time you play the game. Is ok. Not as good as it should be, but not as bad it used to be. Progress, I guess.

All this new content and yet it's even harder for me to get back to the game because it's still the same exact ZED waves, same camping focus, same blehgughghugh. The community maps don't even approach the levels of what we saw in KF1 because of how much they've upped the quality/dedication to the official ones, so they stand out as amateurish (even when they clearly had a lot of hard work.) I also got to watch poor Patty get shat on by a team of full Sharpshooters using the new autoaim Railgun and die well before he even got a chance to run away.

They definitely can.
