all looks okayish
I don't like the super colorful weapon skins, but some are nice, the UN varmint and m79 are neato.
RPG is awful though.
The RPG looks fucking cool
Thanks for saying my skins should die.
<3
Nothing against you, it just that a generic T1 Operator Modern Warfare helmet and mask combo is really bland and uninspired. The quality itself is fine enough, but there is nothing in the idea that makes me want to put that on any character nor see it on any character. I'd rather see something more creative to showcase your talent. An incredible quality pope hat for Albert would be just as bad. But the vampire hunter approach, that is a great way to go with that for instance. The boxing headgear is another one that is creative, its not something you see very often. The one issue I'd have to say about the Van Albert's set is that its a little ostentatious, it stands out quite a bit and doesn't necessarily blend so well. Whereas the boxing headgear actually blends quite nicely, it won't stick out like a giant brimmed hat. But there is still creativity in the idea of the Van Albert's set itself.
Or are yours one of the weapon skin sets since not like that page actually lists anyone's name on the page itself? I entirely forgot the weapon skins even existed immediately after posting since none of them stuck with me. Because the same issue exists there really. Though if this one is yours:

Then unfortunately I'm not even sorry. This set is just lacking. This is something even I could have done and made $300 off of. It is exceptionally generic and simple. Its a red hexagon pattern across a black surface, with a biohazard symbol and a skull placed somewhere in the mix.
The other two, well one is flames and dragons on pyro weapons. Sure, they're not really bad quality, but thats as uninspired as that T1 Operator Helmet thing. Its entirely unoriginal and looks more like a cheesy generic fantasy/cool guy poster or the hall of fame of a suburban mall tattoo parlor.

And the Stories of War:

Its just a splatter of colors in various camouflage patterns and geometric shapes. They're garish. Especially the RPG and the AK. Those are bad. There is clearly effort in them, they added some details like the tally marks on the grenade launcher, or the general wear and tear across all of them, but they all look like any CSGO skin.
So really, which ever of the four is yours, its nothing really against you, but none of these show anything really standout or praise worthy.
Sad the motorcycle helmet didn't get in

I think the dragonfire set just looks far too amateurish. I like the stories of war though, the balance of colour is good if you look at the weapons individually but of course they're going to look garish when you see them all at one go
they should just add default looking weapons that the player can customize the looks and characteristics of
A few of the Stories of War set aren't that bad, but they're pretty eugh.
Other two skinsets are kinda FPS Banana-tier silly and I'm not sure why they won.
I'm just glad that there seems to be a lack of IJC having won anything.

HNNNNNNNG THIS IS SO GREAT
Yeah. Overall the items look super generic. I'm sad, they could have done so much with unique skin stylings.
that helmet/bandana looks straight from modern warfare 3.

Dorito mountain dew game fuel skin when
I actually had a kf2 dream where we made it all the way to 10/10, 3 of our heavy hitters die mid wave, leaving me(medic), another medic, and a commando left to kill 2 enraged fps and scrakes along with all the trash in the world. We all try to kite as long as possible somehow killing the fps and scrakes only to die a slow death from having to kite trash and deal with them spawning in front of us, whittling us down a little health at a time. The map? It was this indoor amusement park, like you know FunTimeAmerica where you have a bunch of arcade machines, maybe laser tag, ski ball, indoor bumper cars or something. The feeling of defeat was just as sad as the real thing, lol.

VR killing floor would be so awesome/terrifying, that's what the dream was like.
I think KF2 just got trading cards
either it takes an eternity to get 1 or they're new cuz I just got one

That's because of the Halloween KF sale
Would've been nice to get a balance/tweak patch as well :~)

No we get those with underwhelming content patches!
The contest results are completely whelming.
So is KF2 worth it at this point (and at this price)? I recently started playing the first with a friend after owning it for a long time but we never got into it.

If you can't get into KF1 for it's gameplay you're probably not gonna like KF2 because it is pretty much exactly the same. Kill enemies, buy guns, rinse repeat until the big guy comes then you kill him and throw money into piles yelling profanity

Oh yeah I meant that I recently tried playing it again and we're liking it quite a lot now and we're thinking of getting 2.

Right now I wouldn't recommend getting this game. KF1 at this point is definitely better, gameplay wise at least.
I would recommend waiting for at least when they release a new boss. Or just full release.
Hans is just absolute wank and not very interesting.
get it now, its on sale. I dont get why people say not to get it when its 33% off and they'll just end up buying it later? its not a 60$ AAA game in the first place.
If are gonna buy it, buy the digital deluxe edition you get scully, he's the only one with a funny accent that sounds like he's genuinely enjoying himself.

Content wise KF1 is better. But gameplay wise KF2 easily excels. Teamwork is actually much more crucial and there are more play styles to work with.
KF2 is a better game in nearly every aspect, in my opinion. The assets are far better in quality, the game runs better, the gunplay feels better, the perk progression doesn't feel so static. All it's missing is content. Not that many maps, not that many weapons, missing a few perks. There's also a few balancing issues with some of the perks as well. Also needs more variety in Zeds. I didn't like the Patriarch much but Hans gets old fast.
The biggest issues aside from lacking content is the general balance and how extremely not-sidegrade-y the perk trees are. One perk nearly always winds up being vastly better than the other, it doesn't seem like a lot of thought went into them. The big zeds and Hans also feel more threatening because they can eat far too much damage, rather than being scary due to damage output.
Other than that, it's better hands down. Slicker, prettier, etc. It's more "fun" for awhile, until it all gets a bit repetitive. Killing Floor 1 was much the same, on launch.

I love his VA

I am so sick of hanz. I have way more fun doing all the waves, but when it comes to hanz I almost want to call it a match and quit. His 2 hit melee kills is so not fun, just fighting him is not fun. It's like a game of manipulating his targeting system and if you get unlucky and focuses you when your medic is reloading or out of sight, you're fucked. I feel like as soon as you lose 1 member it's over because of the damage it takes to get through all that health. I kinda wish there was a way to kill him before his healing process, so it would reward a team for working together and coordinating their damage. Having him almost invincible when he's chasing for a heal is silly, like the strategy becomes to just run at him and get the healing over with and that's just brainless.
I am really curious as to what other game modes they will have and how the meta will change depending on the mode. Like how is the teleporting zeds going to work out for modes that require you to be on the move?

the only problem with hans is he has too much hp or at least heals too much
ol patty wrecked your shit too at close range and could eliminate you if you weren't in cover when he fires off his minigun.
getting over the broken aspects in kf1 was how you played it too. Getting to know how the messed up scrake head hitbox was critical for sharpshooter.
To add to the balance issue of pickups being rare.
That ironically goes entirely against their prophecy of wanting to make roaming around with a mobile team an option. Yet the low ammo limits for classes who eat through ammo like no-tomorrow still exists in a game full of tanky as hell zeds. Why?
Another reason that the 'roaming' option they were hoping for is ironically bogged down is because Fleshpounds are guaranteed to rage at all times anyway. Back in KF1, a smart player could roam efficiently and play around the fleshpound's rage mechanic, you could break line of sight, take potshots and be careful not reach the rage threshold, pop back behind cover to reset the rage timer, repeat. The scrake is an exception to this rule since he still plays similar to KF1 scrake, finish the kill you started or else the whole team suffers.
Basically, roaming isn't an option anymore in this game. Zeds don't even spawn near single players in numbers anymore and will still spawn in mass towards the nearest group. Fleshpounds will always close in on you anyway regardless of what you do, and ammo is always a necessity since there's hardly any clever ways to go about killing things anymore. The big zeds pretty much require a team-effort at all times now unless you're one of those perks that get a silly gimmick ability (Stun zeds with medic needle for example.)
You can't do things like grenade stack anymore which was stupidly helpful and still fit perfectly well, it tremendously helped some classes in that regard (Demo especially, good luck trying a grenade stack to save your team from those two closing-in fleshpounds or a scrake).
Tripwire was entirely unaware of all the little tricks and tibbits of skills you could put to use in kf1, and it massively benefited from that. Killing floor 2 is dumbed down in many aspects, it feels stream-lined but for the boring worst.
