The problem with Hans vs Patty is that when the Patriarch healed, he had to run to a safe place, you could very well beat him before he even healed Hans feels more like those games where bosses have phases, except Hans' phases aren't any different from eachother

His final phase has him chasing players with a melee attack that can kill you in 2 swipes.

You could counter St.Patty, but Hans "Donovan Neal will be brought to heel" Gruber forces you to have a passionate staring contest while he fingers your ass.

KF2 has started dropping Steam Cards now, I crafted the badge and got a nifty Alberts emote & DNA helix profile background.

Take me, Shakespeare
Why is it every time you do not play zerker/firebug/medic your teams loses? I really want to level other classes but I cannot get over wave 6 because people fuck up all the time. Choosing the right skills can be tricky and situational, but for medic most are no brainers and they still fuck it up.

Speaking of Firebug, I really should go back to KF1 and learn how to use it there. Lack of flare revolvers should make for an interesting challenge, too
[editline]30th October 2015[/editline] Which reminds me, is it just me or is the game a ton more fun at max perk level?
it most certainly is. unlocking the zerker's smash is like the best thing ever, knocking hans flat on his stupid face never gets old.
New Farm is looking kinda neat. [t]http://media.tripwirecdn.com/103015/farmhouse.jpg[/t] [editline]30th October 2015[/editline] New WWAUT
Looks reminicent of a zombie panic map
If there's one thing I can't complain about in KF2 (vs KF1), it's how it controls. Picked up the old game today for the first time in eons, and remembered just how shittily the older versions of Unreal Engine handled mouse input-- seriously felt like I was using a controller, but moving the sticks with a pair of pliers. Not that I don't miss a lot of things about the old game, but that (and a bunch of other things about KF1) helped me realize just why KF2 really had to happen to keep the franchise going.
Looks reminicent of a zombie panic map
Good ol' Harvest man [t]http://i909.photobucket.com/albums/ac291/328805/2012-11-12_00004_zpskrjg4jg7.jpg[/t] I loved stealing the fuse and blowing up everybody that ran into the basement too late. Also putting the IED in the living room barricade and sending my teammates straight to prop damage hell with a tornado of couches.
I have never completed that level. I played that game a shit ton when I was younger, and never had a group of people competent enough to get to the evac at the end.
Turn off mouse acceleration and vsync, I never had a problem with aiming in KF1
Also turn off mouse smoothing, it's what limits your mouse speed during ZED time for some reason.
Also turn off mouse smoothing, it's what limits your mouse speed during ZED time for some reason.
Where do I find that?
Where do I find that?
Should be in the Input tab of the Settings menu. It's a checkbox on the left side.

IMO I wish Support's level 20 skills weren't "Be able to carry the M4 with the AA12" or "Do more damage" All damage buffs should be passive.
It's part of tripwire's plan to make all weapon viable on all classes.
Well the "Tenacity" skill I'm talking about says that you do 10% more damage with support weapons so technically speaking if you don't pick this skill all of your weapons are doing 10% less damage
Not really, their idea of difficulty is having flat hp levels for all the zeds throughout , and making it harder by giving them new attacks, or having them charge at you sooner. So it's balanced around the base value so you dont normaly get -10%, you get 10% extra damage with the perk equipped. I do agree though not giving perks extra damage passively is stupid, I mean zerker gets 2 perks dedicated to extra damage, other classes just cant compete with that damage wise. Discussion time: Zwei or pulverizer. And why is the Eviscerator such a useless weapon.
Discussion time: Zwei or pulverizer. And why is the Eviscerator such a useless weapon.
Anything pulv can do zwei can do better; Zwei can do anything better than pulv. Its got a huge range advantage, heavy swings are actually faster than the pulv without ammo and do 290 slash compared to 145 bludgeon (and this before accounting for smash and passives), and that amazing stab over the weak shove. The only thing the pulv has a leg up on is that it mitigates 90% damage on perfect parry compared zweihander mitigating 80% and mere style preference. As for the eviscerator, the fact that it doesn't have a form of heavy attack means that it can't use smash. I'm unsure if light attack based perks like furious defender and parry affect the chainsaw (I'd like to go about testing this somehow), but they certainly affect the battering ram shove. I also believe that the sawblades bounce way too much and too unpredictably. Its only saving grace is that the chainsaw can stunlock FPs (unsure about scrakes). Personally, I'd take a classic chainsaw over the eviscerator if I had the choice.
I think the worst part about the zweihander is the pulverizer is a really really fun weapon, and it's now utterly useless because zwei is 100x better. Pulverizer might be the best melee I've ever used in an FPS, and they've replaced it with a really boring weapon, zerk is essentially just spamming light attacks constantly now, with an occasional overhead for scrakes.
Be like me and not give a fuck what perk weapons you use M79, M4 and medic pistol? Yes please.
some of us play above normal
