Killing Floor v8 - Come Out, Come Out Little Pigs!

I don't really get why anoyone would defend shitty microtransactions like this when the game isn't even halfway done and is lacking in even some basic gameplay stuff.
Rust also made skins in early and no one whined. I don't uderstand why people are so upset about skins. I don't care as they doesn't affect gameplay, plus it's a good thing for modders.
At least it doesn't take 5+ months for Rust to get an update and we get actual progress in devblogs rather than shitty excel graphs
Would it be a big exaggeration to compare this whole thing with warz or whatever that game was called? It pulled a very similar thing, except to a higher degree.
"i am benefiting from fucking over the consumer, therefore it is not wrong"
Pretty much. It's like, yeah dude I'm really happy you're getting fat cash from a bunch of dumb 13 year olds but I'd much rather have that shit out of KF2, or at least in a completely different format.
with kf2 its more of a shocking announcement considering half the perks in the game are still missing
This update makes me feel satisfied.
I've been thinking about buying Killing Floor 2 once It will go out of "Early Access" but now I can forget it.
[sp]The amount of salt I have in veins is too high[/sp]

This becomes really stupid and shit.
I get the idea "cosmetics only" but seriously... crates?
Crates are the PURE EVIL. Players from TF2 knows it very well.
This trend becomes unhealthy for the games.
This makes me want to argue if DLC's (missions-like) are bad....
[sp] I knew this would happen. [/sp]
Is this even active yet
No matter what i will want that Classic Foster
Been wanting that ever since i saw the leather jacket design :v:
Why couldn't they make a STORE for items?!
Wouldn't you pay 1,99$ for a hat that you want instead of what It gives you?

Except they do have a store to sell certain items
Plus considering that only one rarity is exclusive to payment, this doesn't sound too bad

It's a gamble. We all know how it goes. "Hmmm, I'll try open one more crate."
And my very last shred of hope for Tripwire is gone. Glad to see you have your priorities in order.
lol
i'm not even surprised tbh
Neither do I. It only made me depressed even more.
Sheesh, I already knew the devs would get lazy after how many people bought KF2 in EA before they even had much content.
But now this feels like a bigger cash grab than any other EA game out there.
I mean, there's nothing we can do. Boycotts are useless, petitions are embarassing, leaving negative reviews usually ends up being really childish.
Just ask for a refund (if you can) or uninstall. Best thing you can do is just not play, or at the very least, just play KF1

If you can't get a refund... make review negative. It may warn some guy... some day.
This is the future of gaming. Crates or DLCs
whats with game devs taking nosedives into piles of controversy?
Devs thinks It's harmless.
Skins don't make gun stronger*
*Except for Payday 2.
How the fuck did they this would go over well if there isn't even actual content in this update pushing it towards a more complete state.
whats with game devs taking nosedives into piles of controversy?
Probably the sad reality that regardless of initial controversy, these business models rarely fail to provide easy revenue.
This is fucking it Tripwire. Not only do you take forever to update the game, you add FUCKING MICROTRANSACTIONS before adding all the perks. This is fucking bullshit. I am a hardened consumer advocate that started my illustrious career when diehard gamers turned heavily against DLC a few years ago, so I know this is all a scam for a dead game. I'm going to whine loudly on forums, threaten to get a refund but never do it, and secretly play the game while nobody else is watching because of this faggoty money milking.
Go suck your own micropenis Tripwire.
Sucks that people on Reddit or the forums are just brushing this off as "its only cosmetic guys!!!!" "you dont HAAAAVE to buy it!!!" rather than noticing that tripwire is literally puting microtransaction BS (that these people would cry havoc about in other games) over doing actual updates

Okay.
haha, fuck off.
Looks like it's back to kf1 with me.
They could make a Store for the "Community Made" items.
Why is it soo HARD?!
I saw this thread had 99 posts and got excited thinking the Gunslinger update came out.
Silly me.

I actually regret clicking too, this is my worst nightmare. It's exactly the thing that I was afraid of the minute they opened the workshop. It's so ridiculous it's almost like a parody.
I wouldn't fucking care if the game was actually done. All they had to do was finish the perks, add a handful of more maps, add the Patriarch back, and add all of the remaining weapons. Then they could've done this and I wouldn't have cared.

A lot of the comments are "it's just cosmetics guys" or "well I hope they're not expensive"

Because this isn't exactly surprising, honestly. It's disappointing, but I'm not as shocked and outraged as I was with PAYDAY 2's skins. Also they're cosmetic, so that's cool. I'd like it more if I could just fucking buy the skins I wanted instead of KEKIN' GAMBLING SON!!! but, whatever.

All-in-all my entire outlook on this whole "situation" is that it could have been much worse. At least they copied the "you can get an item drop instead of a crate" wholesale from Counter-Strike. I'm interested to see how this plays out as the system develops and "matures," so to speak.
Please balance the game berzerker medic and firebug are the most boring perks ever before atleast doing this
