I agree that saying the knife is a new weapon is bullshit, nades eh, but saying the gunslinger pistols are "nothing"? Come on.

I never agreed to that part. I will mention that saying "6 new weapons!!" when players are expecting four per perk (as in guns) to be a little cheesy.

I was just extending to that post I made above, wasn't directed at your post.
I hope they don't consider a single pistol and its akimbo counterpart two different weapons.

as i stated before, it would be eight guns instead of six.
I hope they don't consider a single pistol and its akimbo counterpart two different weapons.
They don't.
There would be 8+2 weapons then
I doubt they meant those being knife and a grenade, but rather two new weapons from unreleased perks like they did with katana and flamethrower in the start.

No.
It's 4 guns (2 revolvers, 2 handguns) plus the knife and nades.
also "basically nothing, like the gunslinger weps" lol.
Oh crap, I almost forgot the gunslinger was set to get 4 pistols in total. My bad

Knowing both their development cycle and how they show stuff off, I highly doubt it. PC Gamer had no mention of them.
iirc, they've also called knifes/grenades "weapons" in the past, so it makes sense.

Just sayin'
(since it might not be too obvious : 13 new weapons - two perk's weapons including knives and grenades)
yea they even counted the fucking upgraded molotov (flaratov) as a separate weapon.
Hold up, we're still not getting sharpshooter? Any reason why?

They have some new tech for SS (that could be anything) that's yet to be finished.
I'm thinking that tech thing to be scopes not being done.

That totally could be it if they are doing double render stuff again.
There have been a lot of questions about the voice of the Patriarch for Killing Floor 2, so we thought we'd share this information. Dan Nassick, aka Zynthetic, is reprising his role as the Patriarch for Killing Floor 2. So not only is the original voice of the Patriarch returning, many favorite Patriarch lines from KF1 are returning, as well as a whole lot of new lines.
Yay.
KF1's Patty was voiced by zYnthetic, Dan Nassick
He's returning for KF2.
I wonder what will be the explanation why the Patriarch now looks like the bastard son of a Tyrant and a Super Mutant though.
Yay.
ONE IN THE PIPE
LET ME TEST MY NEW MORTAR LAUNCHER
[editline]26th November 2015[/editline]
I wonder how strong his melee will be considering he has more ranged options than Hans
Yay.
Oh thank god, it just wouldn't be patty without Dan.
On the note of Patriarch, I hope we get some explanation for why he's a walking tumor now. Maybe after the mercs killed him in KF1 he was rebuilt with even more drugs? :v:
[sp]I hope there's callback lines where he recognizes some returning KF1 characters and that they recognize him[/sp]
I'd really like it if the Martial Artist's default melee was something simple like a fist-load type weapon, or something like a caestus.

His default melee should just be his bare hands
After watching TB's video about it, I'm a bit more accepting of the whole thing now. He brings up a good point that if cosmetic micro-transactions are necessary to assure the game gets finished, then there's nothing wrong with it.

There's two worry points about this, and this view point.
1. Many people are forgetting that weapons with "new gameplay" were basically confirmed to show up on Trading Floor.
2. You have to question how Tripwire can possibly need more money after the sheer volume of sales for Killing Floor 2. Tripwire's had a long history of mentioning "oh no, we need more dosh to finish x", but I'm not sure how many more times I can buy it.

I want Martist's tier 4 to be a powered exoskeleton like Hans has for super strength.
Kung-fu fighting with stalkers and arm-wrestling with the Patriarch.

Okay this is what I want, for realzies.

If you played through the objective mode version of transit, they reveal a little bit about him. For the sake of people that haven't played it, I'll spoiler tag the info below.
If you don't want the story line spoiled or if you haven't finished KFO-Transit, don't reveal the spoiler. Otherwise go right ahead.
[sp]Okay so during the events of Transit you end up working with Rachel Clamely, the patriarchs daughter. She guides you through a train station to an underground lab where you end up having to fight 2 patriarchs at a time. It's at that point that it's revealed that players have been killing mass produced clones of the real Kevin Clamely. So the real Patriarch has been several steps ahead of us I guess. Anyway after you kill them you end up hopping on a train to follow the real Kevin Clamely to Paris which is where KF1 leaves off and where KF2 picks up.[/sp]
