Ugh I wish i could upgrade the flashlight/Nightvision in the shop so it could last longer. Catacombs (not sure if thats the map name) is dark as hell and we could barely see shit, atleast make muzzleflash light up dark areas more.

Like I can see it being helpful until wave like 4, which at that point you definitely have the flamethrower or if you are good probably have the microwave gun as well, which makes the skill pretty useless because you shouldn't need to be buying another firebug weapon anyway. Make way more sense to switch it to an actually useful perk after you have your end tier weapon.
iirc MWG still has splash damage so if you aim directly at their feet you're getting direct hit damage as well as splash damage, so it's more than aiming directly at them. I could be wrong though.
If that's true, then there's 3 different ways you can do damage as a firebug: either you do only direct damage, only splash damage, or both at the same time. These firebug mechanics make zero fucking sense.

You can't deal both impact damage and splash damage to the same target but since they both deal 20 per tick and the splash damage perk ups splash damage to 40 which leads to the strange situation where you want to shoot your feet to splash to the scrake next to you.
It's also most efficient with the xray cannon to aim at the targets feet, and click rapidly. Holding down just wastes what precious little ammo you get. Because tripwire hates you.
you're literally killing floors
Well there's not much else to kill, hasn't been a content update in so long.

Could you also explain the math behind tap firing for the mw gun being overall more damaging?
Leveling medic is really slow and boring. Is there a way to speed things up?
I levelled my med with 2 methods. Method 1: Be a discount Commando while still keeping mates in check because some smart ass in TWI thought it was a good idea to make Med kill XP>>>Heal XP or method 2: At Hans' wave, buy a medic pistol with a class you're most efficient at playing vs Hans and hit him once with it. This makes the game split Hans' XP between Med and the class you were using to take Hans down [editline]1st October 2015[/editline] Also how do I Zerk? I got the whole horizontal slash vs lined trash thing done along with parrying decently against the big ones, but I still have a gut feeling that I'm doing something wrong with zerk but idk what.
GERMAN SCIENCE IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD
Yeah they really really need to make playing Medic more rewarding.
Leveling medic is really slow and boring. Is there a way to speed things up?
smg tag everything with one bullet each *everything* *every single thing*
smg tag everything with one bullet each *everything* *every single thing*
It helps if you pretend you're part of the mafia on a hit when you start sweeping for xp I just started talking like a mobster on the last stretch to lv 25
Well there's not much else to kill, hasn't been a content update in so long.
I wouldn't call exactly 1 month "so long". But, then again I guess we won't be seeing any new content for a while.
Interesting. Could you also explain the math behind tap firing for the mw gun being overall more damaging?
Not really sure why, but I'm assuming it has something to do with how after-damage is applied for Firebug weapons. Also, even when you tap with Firebug weapons, the weapon still continues to fire briefly after stopping and deals damage. Is it just me, or are there almost no populated suicidal servers? Is everyone just sticking with hard for now?
it's just you
We seriously need a new game mode soon. Getting kinda bored of just surviving wave by wave with nothing to do.
We seriously need a new game mode soon. Getting kinda bored of just surviving wave by wave with nothing to do.
Mix it up. Either crank up the difficulty, try some custom maps, start trying odd weapon combos. One weird alternative is to turn off the music. Drastically changes the mood of the game, but makes it feel pretty empty.
Does anyone know any decent guide on how to be a useful Berserker? I can't find any.
Does anyone know any decent guide on how to be a useful Berserker? I can't find any.
What specifically do you need help with? It seems pretty self-explanatory. Pick the right perks, aim for the head, don't overextend or get sloppy without a good medic. The only thing I ever see people argue about with 'zerker is Zweihander versus Pulverizer. (I prefer Zwei.)
Big zeds do a lot of damage to me even when I try my best to parry and my teams often do little to help, also I have some difficulties popping heads with the Pulverizer. With Zwei it's not a problem, but it's heavy and I really like the nailgun.

Are there sound mods? it could be super cool to have the KF1 sounds in 2
Are there sound mods? it could be super cool to have the KF1 sounds in 2
There was a guy a few dozen posts or so back that was working on replacing most of the soundtrack with stuff from M.O.O.N. and Perturbator. I'm looking forward to that a great deal personally.
Sounds great, I hope that when i get the game i can have the original sounds from the guns (and the zeds if they dont have they original sounds)
You can use the zwei and the nailgun at the same time.
Wow, now I feel dumb :hammered:
