If they removed Fleshpound's bullshit 50% resistance to everything that isn't Explosives/Piercing/Microwave and gave him a little hp boost to compensate then they would be much less bullet-spongey
this is probably the biggest issue right now. most classes can barely deal with fleshpounds, its frustrating as hell when you see one and just go 'okay, time to...deal with all the trash mobs nearby it.' sure, commandos can chuck their nades at it but...thats literally it. same with supports, firebugs, gunslingers...especially on hoe, you don't even make a dent with a full mag of .500 revolver dumped into its face during zed time, with 6 players. not even a full mag of scar from two commandos focusing fire point blank will kill it, and that just makes it boring. especially if you're the last man standing. and its not like demos are incredible vs them either.at least with a raging scrake you can potentially kill it as a last man standing.
If they nerfed the rapid clicking for firebugs then what are you supposed to do now? just a constant stream?
If they nerfed the rapid clicking for firebugs then what are you supposed to do now? just a constant stream?
I still just click, because I don't want to burn all that ammo on one FP.
finally reached level 15 gunslinger those fucking reloads, umph
They said they nerfed tap-firing doing extra damage with the microwave gun but I think it's still useful for saving ammo as they didn't change anything to do with the firing speed/ammo consumption.
I'm a bit confused why Firebug gets an Explosive Shotgun while Demolitions is left sitting on his ass until he can afford a Grenade Launcher, or wait even longer for an RPG. Shouldn't Demolitions have the explosive shotgun as an intermediate weapon?
That feel when you join as something situational like a Firebug and got forced off it because there are 3 Firebugs. Luckily I enjoy playing Medic, so that role is pretty much always open; I wish the medic weapons didn't feel so dinky, though. I don't like to double/trip down too much on classes in a match unless it's something we really need at the time.

The explosions are from a perk [editline]8th December 2015[/editline]
They said they nerfed tap-firing doing extra damage with the microwave gun but I think it's still useful for saving ammo as they didn't change anything to do with the firing speed/ammo consumption.
I still tap fire, it feels like it does more damage
When i see a fleshpound as gunslinger on Normal, i'll shoot it If it is on Hard, i stay the fuck away from him until someone else takes the aggro Really every single time a Fleshpound aggro's on me on hard, i'm just dead, no exception Even with full armor I really hate it :v:

did they make it harder to block with zerker? it really feels that way [editline]8th December 2015[/editline] also why are EMP grenades still useless for bosses
Wish leveling up was faster, it just makes me not want to play when I know I have to either spend a dozen matches on normal to level up or spend a few matches on hard+ whilst ruining other people's experience to get it faster.
Give me SWAT already!
did they make it harder to block with zerker? it really feels that way [editline]8th December 2015[/editline] also why are EMP grenades still useless for bosses
Patriarch actually takes more damage from EMP. [editline]8th December 2015[/editline] Also... Patty resists basically all damage except EMP and microwave. Plus, less damage when you hit his non-fleshy parts (which is more than half his body).
I wish the medic weapons didn't feel so dinky, though
The only medic weapon you need is the HM-401. Mix and match anything else that fits in your inventory with that. I've been going with a Desert Eagle and twin SW500s just fine. :v:
From what these last threads have been and my personal experience with it, this game has TONS of potential. It could easily be the new, go to co-op game across all platforms if they fucking bothered to balance things. Holy shit, in Early Access the main thing you do is make the game be balanced and fun to play, not put in microtransactions. This has been so damn dissapointing. I don't often buy EA games, I don't buy games often period because of the money situation in this shitty country but wow, learning experience.

Despite your complaints KF2 is still probably one of the best early access games out there. Look at fucking games like starforge and Day one Garry's incident. [editline]8th December 2015[/editline] Also I think TWI has come to the realization that it'll be easier to balance the game when all the perks are in, which is true. <insert witty comment about twi taking 5 years to release all perks>

A lot of perks, except maybe Berzerker (which often needs a medics' help), can be balanced in a vacuum just fine. The fact that the Firebug is better at taking out groups, big zeds, and causing explosions than the Demolitionist is just about as goofy as how far Support has fallen, or how comically one-sided a lot of the "trade-off" perks still are.
Curious as to what ADS Mode people prefer when playing Gunslinger so here's a strawpoll Also is there a way to remove the secondary affect of the Tier One Gunslinger perk that causes you to switch pistols when the magazine is empty? I've had it pull out Colts on me when emptying .500s into a scrake :disgust:

[sp] serious though, why isn't there a 'both' option? I'm ok with both ADS modes [/sp]

Even now we already have overlap. I'd argue that commando is better than gunslinger, it has a higher ammo pool for killing trash and higher accuracy for ranged fire.
People rated it funny because they found the glitch funny. If they don't reply they probably don't know how to fix it? I assume you've tried reinstalling or verifying your files?
Yea, reinstalled and verifed cache. I know its because Tripwire games does not support intergrated GPUs, but I played it just fine before I reset my computer.
They need to make picking between what perks to take less obvious. Everyone is gonna take a straight upgrade to their health rather than health per kill.

If you're at the point in the game where Dual .500s are needed then your secondary set of pistols should be Deagles, or the 1911s for taking care of trash.
Ah I forgot the Revolvers are Colts, I meant the Colt 1911's :v:
They actually aren't. They're Remington 1858's.
i keep playing zerk and i don't know. not really liking how you have to time the block. i know it's been there forever but at the moment i just say fuck it and go mouse2 spam. usually it's not worth blocking, feels more effective to run backwards [editline]8th December 2015[/editline] the whole mechanic is just fucked
