Sorry, I was REALLY confused for a minute after reading that.
Thanks I was typing that in between rounds and didn't reread.

Part of the blame falls on me for second-guessing if there were revolvers in the late 1700s for a lot longer than I should have :v:

9mm is next on getting new sounds
KF2 needs to support cross-perk weapons, like how the support's shotgun penetration bonus worked on the trenchgun in KF1.
Always thought it'd be cool if the Medic shotgun worked for Support as well, assuming it doesn't.

Hopefully they go through all of them. The medic guns need to sound better, same for some of the ARs.

Meanwhile on Bloodshot's server.
I still think the new Tripwire logo reminds me of the NXT logo from WWE :v:

Looks like more of an energy drink brand than a game developer.
The theme they were going with gunslinger was iconic pistols. The Colt 1911 is a gun with a long history of wartime use and are widely regarded for their reliability and stopping power. The Smith & Wesson .500 magnum is believed to be the most powerful handgun in the world. And the remington 1858's also have a rich history, having fought on both sides of the American civil war, being used throughout much of the settling of the west before the Peacemaker, and was used by Buffalo Bill for over 40 years.
The Desert Eagle is the REAL black sheep of the gunslinger family. Being probably the biggest piece of shit tactic00l gun in the tree. Known for being heavy, overpriced, and generally unreliable.

If we were going to get a .44 Magnum, i'd much rather have it replace the Deagle brand deagle.
Coming in from an entirely non-American perspective, I can totally appreciate the value of every gun except for that one. Colt 1911 is totally ok and I'm 100% down with it because it is a very iconic gun and is known to be extremely effective even now. Even the Deagle, as shitty and overhyped as it may be, is still not an old ass revolver, it's just a big gun. There's a reason why it's literally the weakest weapon in the entire tree besides balance, and it just doesn't feel like anything of value.
Yea, reinstalled and verifed cache. I know its because Tripwire games does not support intergrated GPUs, but I played it just fine before I reset my computer.
So anyone?
I dunno how you managed to do it fine before restarting computer but anwyway you should be able to fix it via intense ini tweaking.

Also every update seems to reset most settings so you have to do the ini tweakin each update.

The problem comes in that they seemed to want to avoid making all the GS's guns revolvers, and I can't think of any non-revolver handguns with big cartridges that have anywhere near the mainstream status as the Desert Eagle, or that even come close.
I think the issue is every class is good at trash removal but only... One of them can really handle themselves (efficiently) and that's the zerker. Demo can clear up trash but somehow scrakes and flesh pounds have explosives resistance... Like who's dumbfuck idea was that? Zerker can wipe out 50 trash zeds without breaking a sweat then proceed to fuck up a scrake with little effort. Whereas every other class just fucks up. You'd think 1-2RPG rounds would completely decimate a zed like that but noooOoOOOooOoOOOOoo
the 1911 is quite weak, i always sell the revolvers and go dual 9mm then buy a .500
im a normal shitter so it might not work on anything higher then hard
edit:i think they should do a full fledge talant tree and add the perk bonues as perks you can spec into, for instance recoil as perk bonus on gunslinger is IMO useless so it whould compete with either +speed talant or + armour talant

I can understand their probable intentions, like, they don't want entire teams of demolitions or whatever.
Then just simply make it so it's not super economic to only play demo, and buff their starter pistol.
Goddamn the decisionmaking in this game has been mediocre at best in terms of "if it isn't broke, don't fix it"
I can understand their probable intentions, like, they don't want entire teams of demolitions or whatever.
Yeah, instead we have entire teams of firebugs. It's not like demolitions was a problem child in KF1 or anything. He has his uses but he wasn't overpowered.
The problem with demo is that he's too far gone for number tweaks to fix. He needs a complete rehaul because TWI screwed the pooch from the word go.

Me neither. I have tried updating my drivers and such, but it makes no difference.
Also, how do I do the ini tweaking?

Medic can also handle big Zeds, but only because medics can kite backwards and self-heal every few seconds, effectively negating the two dangerous things about angry big Zeds as long as they have room to move.
I still err on the side of saying that the Scrake/Fleshpound currently just have way too much health scaling which is what really fucks them up. They're actually fun with 1-2ish players, a moderate/annoying threat with 3-4, and a complete walking ammodump DPS challenge with 5-6.

You simply said make the settings go more and more abysmally low before things run correctly.

Use the ini included in this video's description for amazing looks.

Oh god no. I doubt that will fix any animations bugs lol
Woah late, but I just noticed that they fixed the AA-12's bolt being closed instead of open.
Tried out that Vlad nailgun thing. I like it.

The winchester and m14 were my fav weps in kf1
The main reason why I haven't even touched demo yet is because I don't like how he kills things in 1 hit. I know I know, that's kinda the point, but with partial kills and exp, I feel like I'm keeping the rest of the team from gaining precious money/xp at times by obliterating a group coming at a player. Plenty of times were I'm at the receiving end, I'll be a zerker running at a group of zeds only for the demo on the other side of the room to turn around fire his launcher at a group that I totally could've handled myself. Then next thing you know he's out of ammo for the double fp coming and we get wiped. I feel like if there was a perk that he could share his exp if he gets 100% the kill to nearby teammates would be great, give him incentive to stay near teammates and not worry about saving ammo for the big zeds.
God damn, some of these cosmetics are fucking retarded.
