This is why I wish demo's tier 1 had a wider impact (and maybe even more damaging). Like firebug, he could weaken an entire group of zeds for more easy cleanup but have a long reload time - I think demo should have large AOE/large point damage/slow reload time as a basis for its attack style
There's 5 other teammates that could cover your ass while you reload

oh my god fuck hans, I was the only one left alive in a 6 player hard match, and I had to run around in circles without ammo for like 30 mins slowly hitting him with a 9mm untill he died.

Yes you beat Hans on solo normal alone as 25 lvl gunslinger, really impressive.

People would complain a lot less if it only took that many shots to kill him on a 6 man server.

Yeah, not seeing it. I don't have nearly as much issue with Hans in solo because, except for potential of insta-death gluing melee on his last wave, you can force him into his shielded healing stage easily as almost any class.
Pull it off on a simulated-6-man suicidal setting and I'd be impressed. :v:

Probably should have said this but it was solo HoE, apparently.
Solo HoE is still easier than 6 man hard. I wouldn't use any solo strats on the multiplayer portion.

I wouldn't say its easier than 6 man hard, because 6 man hard is pretty easy to solo through if you're the last one. suicidal, yea.

He can still end you in like 2 melee hits on a 6 man hard game. In that video he took much more punishment than that.
Looks like the latest update broke SLI performance for me. Went from 120-130fps with SLI 970s to 40-50 with severe stuttering. Turning SLI off nets me a steady 100fps, so it's not the end of the world.

what do you have to do to your program when 2 video cards make it run slower

SLI on gave him 40-50 frames with stutters
SLI off gave him the 100 frames. He's just complaining that SLI is fucking with his game
I really hope they nerf Hans. Or rather, completely rework. He's no fun at ALL.
I've killed Hans [B]many [/B]times but have yet to actually kill the patriarch. Just got the closest with me and a berserker being the last survivor but I died to the double swipe from full health and he got chipped down because he had no ranged damage.

I wish Demo's starter weapon was a Shotgun that just fired exploding slugs, fairly weak but stronger than the current effect. Speaking of there could be a perk that gives it the current exploding buckshot effect. Then next weapon would be the Grenade Pistol, which is a weak-ish single-shot 20mm Grenade Launcher, decent splash hurt trash mobs so other classes can mop up easier. Then, you get the 40mm and RPG as normal.

Hans is such a shit boss, I don't know how they managed to make him even worse, and then add the Patriarch who's pretty much perfection right off the bat. It was annoying when his guns and tear gas tore you to shit, so they removed that and gave the ability to his knives instead. At least you could fucking dodge grenades and hide from guns, there's no dodging his knives. If he wants to target you with knives, you're completely fucked and there's nothing you can do.
What can be done? I'm not sure. Reduce his Melee damage for sure, and the way his phases are handled could be changed too but again I'm not sure how...
If they want to make him use his knives they can't make them unparryable and moreso any melee weapon should be able to parry him. That's a good start
I still think they need to give him more weapons and get rid of his frags. His gas, frags, and guns are all so useless, so he has to rely on the melee to do any damage. Some new weapons wouldn't mess with his nazi shtick anyway.
